Platemark, located in Boston’s South End, was conceived out of a passion for art and design. The architectural interiors we create are sensitive to both lifestyle and our client’s desire to showcase fine art. Our «look» is simply a reflection of our client’s own sensibilities and style. History

Established in 1999.

We have over 15 years of combined experience in architecture, art history, interior design, project and construction management, and solid vendor relations that make our approach unique.

We started the company as an art consultancy business in the 1990s, advising clients how to purchase, build, and display a quality art collection. But as art is such an integral part of each room’s décor and enjoyment, clients asked that we expand our services to include interior design, a discipline we knew well through our educational training and work relationships.

Our extensive travels throughout Europe and the United States gave us the opportunity to view the distinctive beauty of myriad cultures and landscapes, shop flea markets, visit clients’ homes, and, of course, experience world class museums. And as art and design experts, we can tell you that museums today offer great inspiration for home interiors.
