Ramada Boston

Only because my company pays for it! To much going on here. Their excuse is we renovating. Yeah right, I guess the fun girls that come in and out are helping right? The bed is very comfy thought.

Rude staff at the desk. Broken elevators since our arrival, and mold on the food! I would highly suggest to anyone thinking of staying here to RUN! I can assure you you will not be pleased. The only positive here is that the housekeeping staff is nice. Not worth it!

I had a TERRIBLE stay at this Ramada. What we experienced during our stay was AWFUL. If there was a way to put ½ star, I would do so.
It took almost 20 min. to check in because the front desk claimed our credit cards weren’t working as they continuously swiped them. We called the credit card company to be sure our travel alerts were in place, and were assured by staff that whatever charges were swiped would «go away» at checkout. I won’t even begin to talk about the 3 other guests with similar issues, including one man who was horrified they wanted to make a mold of his debit card. Make a mold? I wouldn’t allow that either, but that’s not my story to tell.
What IS my story to tell is the disgusting condition of room 227 where we stayed. I ALWAYS check bedsheets and was disgusted to find HAIRS all along the top of the sheet by the headboard, meaning the bottom sheets hadn’t been changed in quite some time. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the pillowcases also had hair on them. One pillowcase even had scuff marks, as if someone had stepped on it! Obviously, the pillowcases also hadn’t been changed.
I continued on to the bathroom to find hair all over the back of the toilet seat, including unflushed toiled paper. IF the toilet had been cleaned, there would NOT have been toilet paper OR hair all over it. I opened the refrigerator and found a disgusting, smelly container of chinese food. I have no idea how long it had been there.
I began calling all the area hotels so I could check out, but couldn’t find a single hotel with an opening until Friday. I was forced to pull off the upper sheets to use one as a bottom sheet, used towels to cover the pillows, and slept COMPLETELY DRESSED as I didn’t want a single part of my body to touch that bed.
Upon checkout I complained to the front desk who gave me a $ 40 credit and suggested I write the hotel manager. I think I should have had my ENTIRE NIGHT’s stay credited, as what we endured was COMPLETELY unacceptable.

Bad bad and worse. The only good experience was the shuttle drivers! Someone booked a group of bikers that came in at 1:00am or so and used the hotel as their party house. According to the front desk clerk, the auditor, who has no say in anything, security was there three times… so what? They did nothing. I have slept better in an airport and felt safer!

Don’t stay here. I booked a room with 2 beds, got a room with 1 bed, when we went back to the front desk the bald guy at the front desk would talk over us then saying he shows it as one bed. Really, I want one bed for 3 ppl… I tried showing him my conformation sheet showing two beds. He wouldn’t look at it. I also mentioned the carpet was filthy in that room, he had no comment. He then directed us to another hotel around the corner. Comfort inn. Lousy service at Ramada and it wasn’t cheap. At 200.00 a night you should get better then they offer. It’s a shit hole. DONT STAY HERE. Move on.

This review gets two stars because the only positives are that it has hot water and a bed to sleep. Also the breakfast is pretty decent. If that’s all your looking for in a hotel I would suggest this.
There is a constant smell of piss right outside of the rooms, our room however was clean on arrival. Wi-​Fi is spotty at best.
The rooms are also way overpriced, and definitely not worth $ 200 a night, but it was the only place I could find in time for a conference.

For just under $ 200 a night, you can get a room with a leaky AC unit, rodents (not kidding), and a run-​of-​the-​mill breakfast. We really just needed a bed to sleep in, and that is basically all we got.
Shuttle service to JFK/​UMass Red Line station was a plus: the only reason for two stars instead of one.
I will pay more for somewhere else next time, this place was not worth the price.

What horrible horrible service… who in their damn right mind has check out at 12 pm now me and my bf have to wait till 2 to go into our room and get ready… so much for sleeping before going out because driving for New York with only 3 hours sleep was not enough. And we r sitting in the parking lot since 10 am. This destroyed our entire first day what are suppose to do now? Never ever coming here again!

Although this hotel served its purpose of providing a room for my friend and I to stay in, it was far from the best I’ve had. If you want a cheap place to stay and do not care about quality or customer service, come here. My friend and I only came here for a private place to hang out for the DAY but we booked a night because that’s how to book a room, therefore, we only cared about price and not too much about extravagance.
I will begin with the «courtesy» shuttle my friend and I caught from JFK station. Yes, if you didn’t know, you can catch a shuttle from the red line JFK station that will take you to either the Comfort Inn hotel, or the Ramada. We were confused about where the shuttle would pick us up, even after calling, therefore, when we saw it we ran to it so we didn’t miss it. My friend knocks on the window and I guess the driver appeared irritated because my friend said «He’s mad now». That alone gave me a bad vibe because the shuttle is supposed to be courteous and yet the driver can’t even do his job without a problem. Lastly, his driving made us fear for our lives, he sped on several occasions, did not use blinkers when he was supposed to, and even stayed straight in a lane that was supposed to turn left. The driver went to the Comfort Inn first and dropped off everyone else in the van, leaving me and my friend alone in the van. Before the driver got in my friend even said to me «I hope we don’t die». This said a lot considering my friend is such a relaxed person.
Now as far as the hotel was concerned, we were placed in a room on the first floor which I wasn’t a fan of but I didn’t mind because I had no other choice. The person who served us and gave us our room key gave us simple directions to our room which actually proved to be too simple because we spent almost 10 minutes looking for it. We had to solicit help from a mechanical employee. The hotel is what I call a predator’s heaven because it has so many twists, turns, exit doors, and unlocked facilities. Overall, I would describe this hotel as UNSAFE and UNFIT for a family that includes women and children. This is more of a hotel for your boys to just hang out and be crazy. Our room was by a side door exit which was unlocked during the day. I thought it would be locked at night and it wasn’t which kept me on edge half of the night because our room door was right by the exit and the neighborhood, if you should call it that, is really sketchy. Additionally, our toilet wouldn’t even flush and my friend had to mess with the piping to get it to work. As we were leaving the next morning and walking to Ashmont Station (because we didn’t want to retake the rude courtesy shuttle) we passed the Comfort Inn and my friend said «I remember seeing a review on the Ramada where the person said they should’ve went to the Comfort Inn, I agree with that person.»
Additionally, the AC kept turning itself on and off all night, I pressed for it to come on but it wouldn’t stay on. There were several times throughout the night where I was suffering from fits of heat suffocation and then other times where it was so cold I couldn’t take it. We dealt with it because there was nothing we could do differently to fix it, the buttons on the AC were practically broken.
AND BTW our keys barely worked for the door. It was a card swipe of course, but the door was so old it could hardly keep up with us swiping, I mean it was so bad my friend had to call for me to open the door when he went to Boston Bowl to get us drinks. SIDEBAR, you have to walk across the parking lot to get food from Boston Bowl, which is super expensive. If you don’t wait too late you’d do better crossing the bridge over to Lambert’s or that pizza shop for the same things at a cheaper price.

Our family recently visited Boston and reserved 4 rooms here. For the price, I feel like it should have been cleaner and had more amenities. One of our rooms was the wrong one when we initially checked it; we had paid for a room with two doubles and they gave us one with a single bed then hassled about switching. Then my grandmothers room had a pretty heavy leak in the ceiling and luckily it didn’t damage any of her belongings but the floor was all soaked. They only knocked $ 40 off the bill for one night and that’s it. For as much as it cost and what an inconvenience it was, they should have been more helpful and accommodating. The shuttle was nice and the drivers were all nice but for the price, the hotel itself and the service should have been better.

Let me preface this by saying my parent’s treated me to this room. Stayed here overnight to catch cruise out of Boston.
First of all, we could not get into our rooms until the exact check in time because of computer problems. So we sat in their lobby, all 12 of us.
The pool was very nice, they were replacing the furniture. The gentleman that was the guard was so friendly. He had told us a bit of the history of the location and how kind the property owners are.
The rooms, air/​heat was unbearable. The temperature was hardly regulated in our rooms. Went from heat to cold in 20 minutes. The newly renovated rooms had nowhere to put toilet paper, sat on back of toilet. The wood around tub was separating. We were unable to give our child a bath. No way to plug tub:(. Beds were super comfortable. Btw, my brother’s family with a toddler and preschooler had to be moved in middle of night for ventilation reasons.
I’m not sure how much rooms were. But I would have given one star except that he hires very professional employees that have to handle many complaints with finesse. I heard many other people and front desk with various complaints.

Thus is by far the worst experience I have had at a hotel. The hotel reception is clueless and unhelpful. They ended up holding twice the actual amount from our credit card in addition to charging the full amount. They weren’t able to sort it out for two days making my credit card unusable.
There is no T station close to the hotel. The shuttle service operated by the hotel is never on time and is always overcrowded. Overall, the hotel location is quite bad.

If I could give this rat trap negative stars, I would without hesitation. I had a 4 night stay booked there. When I arrive, the front desk actually told me they’d put me in a room on «the safer, quieter side of the hotel». I was literally told that, which is obviously not a good sign. The room itself was dirty, severely outdated, lights not working, broken chair. To make matters worse, there were all kinds of people loitering outside the hotel with open cans of alcohol, making noise.
I left after first night, the place was disgusting and borderline unsafe. Avoid at all costs.

Not many options around Dorchester, but this place certainly has some room for improvement. Our room was down an obscure hallway that was so cold it felt like it was outside — picture an old outdoor motel situation where they have put in a wall here and a door there and called it a hotel. The walls were paper thin, so I was awoken multiple times during the night by voices in the hallway. The highlight was the hot breakfast, with a lot of options, waffle maker, bagels, oatmeal, eggs, fruit, etc. Water pressure in the shower was great and the bed was comfy, but the shower was not very clean and the shower head was too short for my 5’7 frame. I might be inclined to just spring for a room in the city in the future and get out here on transit. This place is not where it’s at.

Con: Broken window, clock, & iron –_–
Pro: Free wifi, air conditioner works, comes w/​fridge & microwave.
Con: Horrible shuttle service. Don’t rely on the estimated wait time they tell you.
Pro: At least there is a free shuttle.
Con: Breakfast was mediocre.
Pro: Who can deny a free meal/​included in the hotel costs.
YOU PAY FOR WHAT YOU GET!

I checked in last night. Lobby looks ok. The rest of the hotel should be demo and rebuild. My room is by the highway and doesn’t have internet service because it’s so far from the center of the hotel — I was told. The only wedding machines are on first floor and only takes dollar or coins. I had a dollar but everything costs 2 dollars. No ATM no money changer or anything.
Bathroom so tiny almost can’t fit in it. Hallways smells bad and looks terrible. The elevator so loud sounds like it’s wants to fall down. This is was my first (and last) experience with Ramada

This hotel had everything we needed for our one night stay. Clean and friendly staff. We missed breakfast, so I can’t comment on how good or bad it was. Parking was way and free. My only issue was that when we got back to the hotel very late, we asked if they knew of anyone that was delivering still. The concierge gave us a menu to a place that was delivering pizza. Perfect! We thought…
It turns out that this company is a scam and takes advantage of their customers. I do not think the hotel should be promoting this type of restaurant to people who are not familiar with the area…

Hotel is to be expected. Not bad but not great. Close to town and cheap. Hotel staff entered our room twice this morning after knocking we shouted that we were here and they still opened the door. First time at 8am! Second time at 11 and after the closes it I hear «it’s a female» from a male worker! My husband looked out and saw that it was a ramada employee the first time for sure. I called the front and they said they’ll talk to them. I would think entering a room twice would get a discount or something but nope! Glad we’re leaving today! Also wifi didn’t work half the time and tv onky had kid channels

Service — Everyone is really helpful. The shuttle drivers are really jovial.
Ambience — Not a great layoutm Corridors are really narrow and most rooms have no windows. The house cleaning cart generally blocks the hallway and it becomes a pain to move your luggage. Check your keys work at the reception itself. I had to run back and forth to the reception due to some faulty keys.
Cost — At $ 110 per room for a night, I expected far better.

they are using fake pics. its a cheap super tiny dingy. dangerous looking hooker hotel.
I made reservations online and demanded a refund when I saw this place.
Damn the rooms were small.
It was like jail.
Im not paying for a jail — halfway house set up and guest.
