I want to thank Serjeo for putting me at ease with his great craftsmanship! I was very skeptical about bringing my rings to a local jeweler because the type of ring I have is very difficult to size according to a couple of other jewelry repair stores I brought it to. He assured me that the ring would be safe in his hands and explained the whole process. Serjeo was extremely polite and listened to my concerns. The receptionist is also very wonderful. Great customer service! My rings were finished faster than I expected and they were beautiful! I would recommend this place to anyone.

Serjeo worked with my fiancé to create the ring of my dreams, a classic oval with a thin-​as-​can be diamond eternity band.
My fiancé bought the center stone from an online retailer and met with Serjeo to begin the design process. He took all the elements my fiancé knew I wanted and explained which ones would work best to showcase the center stone.
The end result is breathtaking!
A couple weeks after getting engaged we went back to see Serjeo to get sizing beads added to my ring. He asked questions to best determine my day-​to-​day activity and where to place the beads to keep my ring secure.
During this same appointment he re-​sized my fiancé’s grandmother’s wedding band for us, on the spot, despite being swamped by holiday orders! He even polished it and made it look brand new, a special touch that truly shows how he cares about his customers.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Serjeo and his work. You will not be disappointed in working with him!

Incredibly professional, friendly, and reasonable. I ended up going elsewhere because of a unique value I was offered, but I still give Serjeo 5 stars. He educates his customers very well, offers the best value, and knows his stuff based on decades of experience. Best of all, he wasn’t pushy in any way. When I faced two price options, he actually talked me into getting the less expensive option based on what I was looking for, which showed a lot of honesty.

I had my engagement ring made by another Jeweler before I met Serjeo, it was a complete disaster. So! One of my friend recommend Serjeo to me.
From the first day I met Serjeo, he is very professional and detail in explaining me. He listen to my past experience with my past jeweler, and all of the thing in that I want in my new ring. We met a few times in between and a few back and forth email. Carolina is also very helpful, sweet and friendly.
Finally, the day I went to pick up the ring (I was super nervous because of what happened before) I was worry that thing wouldn’t come out the way I want it to.
OMG!!! Every bit of it, I Love love and love it. My ring was a combination of 3 other rings I found on Pinterest combine. The fact he make every detail to my satisfaction, he is a genius.

Came to Serjeo to clean up, resize, and repair my late mother’s engagement ring. He was incredibly honest, straightforward, informative, and funny. Price wasn’t crazy, and his work showed. They were also flexible and willing to work with me and my odd schedule. Highly recommended.

Serjeo is obviously a wonderful jeweler (my engagement ring looks great!), but where he really shines is customer service. My engagement ring was so big that it was even slightly loose on my middle finger so I took it to Serjeo. The ladies who arranged my appointment and greeted me when I arrived were so accommodating and friendly and they even offer you a beverage as you wait (although I barely waited, Serjeo was right on time).
My engagement ring is obviously very special and I was very nervous about anything happening to it, but he was so patient, sizing my finger up, explaining how everything would work and what he was going to do. He made me feel so at ease. I had to leave it overnight because my ring has the stone embedded, but it was ready to go the next day.
Here’s the part that got them 5 stars. When I picked it up, I kind of felt like it was a hair too loose. Nothing major, but just could have been a teeny tiny bit tighter, but having never worn rings before, I wasn’t sure. Serjeo explained that sometimes rings take a bit to get used to, that I should take it home and wear it for a few days and if I still wanted it slightly smaller, he would do it free of charge.
I thought about it and while it fit pretty well, I felt it could be just a tiny bit smaller, just a hair too big. Serjeo did it right on the spot, no charge.
Serjeo is friendly, patient, and just all around a pleasure. I never felt rushed and I would highly recommend going to see him for all your jewelry needs.

Our experience at Serjeo was priceless! Serjeo is so good at what he does, and he knows you and what kind of a ring you deserve before you tell him what you like. He has a lot of respect for his clients, and he understands that everyone is there with different needs. Serjeo listens to you, and together with my husband and I, we came up with one engagement ring and two wedding bands. His prices are unbeatable, and he knows these numbers inside out. With his assistant Carolina, the two make the office a very warm place to be. We are grateful for his flexibility in giving us what we wanted within a small time frame. He is a busy man, always working with a huge number of projects, and he values every single one of them. My husband and I have both received lots of compliments on our rings, and we can’t be more pleased!

I’ve never had a custom ring made before, and I’m so happy I found Serjeo to create my ring. I saw a diamond semi-​mount in the Caribbean while on a cruise, and thankfully I didn’t purchase the ring there, but I got a picture of the semi-​mount to research getting it made at home. I visited almost every jeweler in the building to get an estimate on making the ring, Serjeo was the only one that analyzed the design to make it better, where the others were looking to only recreate the design as shown, I was so impressed with his attention to detail and artistic flair, he was very meticulous throughout the whole process, along with being a really nice person! I no longer have to shop around for a jeweler the next time I decide to get something made, thank you Serjeo!

Serjeo is my new favorite person in Boston. If I won the lottery, I would buy everyone I could a diamond ring just so I could shop in his studio more often.
Less than a week ago, I got engaged. Hooray! Very exciting. Even more exciting was the honor of being given my fiancé’s (that still feels weird …) grandmother’s exquisite sapphire ring. It was like getting gum from Jill Goodacre in a darkened ATM vestibule.
Three days later, I was staring at it (as you do) and something seemed off. The stone was catching the light in a weird way. Like jello. Like it was … moving. My stomach dropped. I immediately took the ring off (what if fast and furious typing sent it flying!?) and hit Unilocal.Well huh. Seems Boston has a lot of great jewelers. Crap. I clicked through a few, read through the reviews, but none really grabbed me until I got to Serjeo. Page upon page of glowing reports spanning the past 5 years. One even mentioned what I suspected my problem was– a resize gone awry. That reviewer described how Serjeo sat her down and explained the mechanics of what had gone wrong and was able to return her ring within short order looking better than ever. I called the next morning and made an appointment for this afternoon. It had only been four days since I’d put this ring on and I already couldn’t stand to be without it for long but I sure as hell wasn’t walking around with this clinking timebomb of sentimentality on my hand. I needed to get it in right away because I figured it would be a few days until I’d pick it up anyway.
Which is why, when filling out the paperwork, I impetuously wrote «as soon as possible :(«on the line asking when I needed the work done. Yes, sad face and all. Soon after, I sat down with Serjeo and he looked at my ring and told me that it was indeed the original stone in the original setting (which I knew, but it was still really cool to hear him say it just from looking at it). He asked how long we’d been together and when I explained our convoluted dating history, he shook his head and said «Only engaged on Sunday after that long? I’m going to do this for you right now.» Ten minutes later and for much, much less than I was anticipating, I was shaking Serjeo’s hand and promising him I’d be back with my fiancé (yep, still weird) soon to talk wedding bands.
Bottom line: If you’ve ever been in the jeweler’s exchange building in Downtown Crossing, you know it’s filled with an overwhelming array of shops and studios. Walk right by them, go all the way to the end of the 5^th floor (if you enter from 333 Washington St, as he’s actually closer to the rear entrance on Province St) and talk to Serjeo. But maybe call ahead first. He’s pretty popular.

I brought my engagement ring (my mom’s), my wedding band (new), and my great grandmother’s wedding band in to be resized. I was a little nervous because we only had a couple weeks til our wedding and two of the rings were irreplaceable due to sentimental value. Serjeo was fantastic! Warm, friendly, genuine, and someone who clearly runs a good and honest business and cares about his customers. We walked out pleasantly surprised, even after expecting it to be a good experience!
When we came back, my two bands were a tad on the small side (we had to estimate the size the first time around because I’d been wearing my too-​small engagement ring, which distorted my finger). Since they were both plain gold bands, Serjeo took them upstairs right away to size them while we waited on the couch. He and his assistants are all so kind, patient, understanding, and happy to help you. It was truly a fantastic experience. I’m so pleased. We will defini tely be going to him for any future jewelry needs!

Less than a week after I got my engagement ring sized by another jeweler, I had a bride-to-be’s nightmare: a diamond had popped out! I was devastated, convinced it was my fault, and found Serjeo’s business through Unilocal to get it repaired.
First off, he is such a wonderful guy. He not only was genuinely interested in my story, but he was able to clearly explain why the diamond fell out in the first place. When the last jeweler resized it, he didn’t tighten the prongs around the stones — so when Serjeo touched the larger diamond, it moved! (And I wanted to throw up). He replaced the missing diamond and fixed the rest of them.
Honestly, my ring repaired by Serjeo looks better than it did in the box!
I had to wait a week for an appointment, but it was worth it – I had my ring back on my hand in two days! And it cost much less than I anticipated. For engagement rings you want the best care, because they’re so sentimental, and he gets that. He IS that.
10 out of 10 Chelseas recommend, I’ve already been raving to my friends. I plan on returning for my fiancée’s and my wedding bands, and definitely for any repairs I’ll need in the future (but I’m confident that this ring is safe for good!)

Serjeo was amazing, start to finish.
First and foremost he is such a nice guy. He listened honestly to what I wanted and was not offended that his suggestions were not accepted. He made a ring for me that was specifically designed not look like an engagement ring. I had two white saphires from a broken necklace and missing earring set and he ordered the third. I showed him a picture of a ring I liked and through emails and conversations we were able to design the ring exactly the way I wanted.
The stones are staggered in a wrap around design, off centered. I wanted a non-​traditional ring and love it. I have told many of my friends and will return again. I’d like to eventually do something with my diamond ring but didnt want it set in this ring.
I would work with Serjeo again in a heart beat!
I used the Unilocal deal, pay $ 100 you get $ 200. The office took it, they were professional and never even made me feel guilty or substandard like some other businesses (Groupon. He also fixed some jewely for me and cleaned up a few peices. I do not buy jewelry often so having something made was a huge treat for me!

Serjeo may be hard to get an appointment at first but he is well worth it. (also, once you are a customer, it’s way easier to get appointments)
Serjeo worked with my fiancée and I to build the perfect wedding bands. He was very flexible with our price range and gave us lots of time and information to be sure we got what we wanted.
So far, we have only gotten my fiancees wedding band which he is very fond of. And mine is on hold until we have more time to design what I really want and, frankly, save up for what I really want. Serjeo has been very understanding and did not try to sell us anything he knew we didn’t want.
As a seasoned customer, I can have my engagement ring sized, cleaned, and repaired essentially for free. He will take any small job and just do it for us. It’s been really wonderful it has helped earn our trust.

I have a feeling this review will never make it to the actual homepage for Serjeo, but after our experience and expecting the 5-​star service I read about on all the other reviews, I feel obligated to tell our story.
The two stars here are earned for Serjeo being, for the most part, a very nice guy with a very nice office. I’m also glad we had rings that fit for our wedding day, but my satisfaction truly ends there.
Each time we were quoted an amount of time for our job (white gold wedding bands. Mine was to fit the curvature of my family heirloom engagement ring.) it took longer than expected. I left my engagement ring in the office first for 5 days, and then again for nearly 3 weeks for Serjeo to make the mold to create my band. In late April, my husband stopped in to pick up his band to find it was at least a size too small. I called the week before our wedding to ask when we might expect the job to be finished (at this point my engagement ring had been there for over a week) and was told we could pick everything up 3 days before the wedding. Eek. Made me nervous, but I was told it was to make sure everything was «sparkling and shining for our wedding day.» I picked up our rings, and the office manager (more on her soon) presented our rings to us. Unfortunately, she did not understand how the band was to fit against my ring, so she had to get Serjeo. He, too, had a hard time figuring it out but finally did with the explanation that «there are so many curves.» When I brought my husband’s wedding band to him to try on, we panicked when we realized it was still too small. the same size it had been 2 months ago when he visited the first time.
Further, when looking closer at my band, it did not sit against my engagement ring. The curves didn’t match. When I looked at the invoice, we were mortified to see someone else’s name on the order. We were certain we had someone else’s bands, but sadly we weren’t surprised. In the beginning, our $ 500 deposit was originally applied to another customer’s account. Carolina, the office manager, was supposed to call us to give us our final total due, which she never did. Imagine my surprise when I called back, again, asking for the total and she said it was the full balance; they never received our deposit. (It had been cashed the day prior) While this was sorted out a few days later, I started to lose faith in this business (and was honest about my feelings!) and was assured this wasn’t normal for them. Fast Forward to two days before our wedding and neither of our rings were what we’d asked for; We emailed and called immediately when the shop opened, and Carolina said they «couldn’t fit us in» until 3pm that day. After further explanation of the timeline we were working with, my husband was able to go in with our rings (and change our pre-​wedding plans with friends and family) to get them fixed. Serjeo’s response to my wedding band not fitting against my engagement ring was:
«If I’d known you wanted precision, I would have charged you significantly more.»
A much different story we were told when he was making his sales pitch. At any rate, Serjeo did fix my husband’s ring immediately to the size he needed, and then took 10 minutes to fix the curvature of my band. Now it sits closer to my ring, but still not as precise as I’d like… apparently precision comes at a higher price. Now, I continue to be confused at how quickly these fixes were made that afternoon. My husband was in and out within 20 minutes… so why did it take two separate lengths of time, holding my engagement ring, to make something that took 10 minutes? Especially since we hadn’t «ordered» the «precision». I imagine a mold was never made for my wedding band, as originally promised.
An apology wasn’t offered, a credit never applied, and Carolina’s excuse for our invoice with someone else’s name on it is that she’d accidentally printed their template. Now I have another customer’s personal contact information and order.
The smoke and mirrors you find at Serjeo may lead you to believe all these 5-​star reviews are the experience you’ll have, but with Carolina’s poor customer service and less-​than-​basic understanding of office management coupled with the fact we are now wearing wedding bands that remind us of the frustration dealt with leading up to our wedding should lead you to bring your business elsewhere. We wish we had.

Working with Serjeo, from the very beginning, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. When my fiancée and I first sat down with Serjeo to begin discussing what we wanted, he spent over an hour getting to know us so that he would have an idea of our personalities and what we were looking for. Within a short time frame, my fiancée found out that she had a family diamond, and Serjeo was able to quickly adapt the original plan to use this stone instead. Furthermore, Serjeo stayed within our budget and educated us on exactly what we were spending. His prices are the same if not lower than any other jeweler you can find!
Despite all of the time and care he spent with us and his countless 5-​star reviews, we were still AMAZED at the beauty and quality of the ring he was able to create for us. It perfectly matched my fiancée’s taste (particularly considering the fact that her grandmother’s original ring was nothing like what she wanted). He was one of the first people we wanted to call and thank after the engagement! We look forward to working with him on wedding bands and any future jewelry.

Ok, this review is for everybody… but mainly for my «I don’t know what type of ring I want» people. Listen, I am not the traditional bride-​y type girl. I did not dream about my wedding since I was 5, I did not fantasize about the day my long time love would pop the question… I was too busy. Ok now that we have that settled, I can go on. I always knew that I wanted to get married and that I wanted an engagement ring that was different. A long time ago, my guy was like «Hey, what type of ring would you like…» My requirements were along the lines of: untraditional, custom, cool design concept and great quality diamonds! That was it, everything else was a blank slate. Luckily, my guy consulted with Unilocal,and found Serjeo. (Thank you Unilocalers!)
Serjeo understood what I wanted from the info relayed by my fiancé and I believe that he nailed it! He was even able to find me a perfect round antique european mined diamond center stone. Serjeo was given full artistic liberties but was always kind enough to consult with my fiancé before making moves. Besides a car, this was my fiancé’s largest purchase and Serjeo really took care of him. He offered extensive knowledge, came up with great ideas to stay within budget (something that I was more concerned with than my fiancé, surprisingly) and is incredibly talented. I could go on and on but we’ve had the same great experience as the rest of his Unilocalers. Thanks Serjeo! Can’t wait to see him for our wedding bands… and earrings that my fiancé doesn’t even know he’s getting me yet :-) !!!

I went to Serjeo for a simple ring resizing and was incredibly impressed with his professionalism. He treated me as if I was buying a $ 30K ring even though I was only using a $ 100 Unilocal deal for an $ 80 job. His shop was beautiful, clean & modern — Not at all what I was expecting!
I could tell that he really cared about his pieces and wanted his customers to feel confident in their investments.
If only every business owner could be this good…
