Smile’s Housecleaning Co

Bought through Amazon Local and had my concerns as it didn’t seem like a professional cleaning company (who has a @hotmail.com account anymore?). But the price was cheap enough I was willing to try. I bought the 3 hour cleaning, not knowing what to expect.
Catia arrived at 9am on a Saturday with two other women. She confirmed the 3 hour voucher and asked what I would like them to focus on. I replied the 2 bathrooms, kitchen, and just general cleaning elsewhere. They quickly and efficiently started their cleaning. An hour later (so 3 people hours), the house was clean in places I hadn’t realized were dirty. All the corners of the ceiling were swept to take out the mini-​cobwebs. All the floor moldings were wiped down. They cleaned under my couch (I was embarrassed by that, but they didn’t judge me for the number of dirty socks dragged out). This is in addition to the whole house being vacuumed and the kitchen swept and all the stuff on the counters moved and cleaned, the random dishes in the sink washed up, the bathrooms shiny, all the trash in the various trash baskets taken out, my end tables polished, the back of the TV dusted… It left me amazed.
In my appointment email, I specified that my boyfriend has severe allergies, is there a non-​chemical cleaning alternative? She said that would not be a problem, and it wasn’t. Catia used Simply Green products (orange scent). When my boyfriend arrived home four hours after they left, he could still smell it, but it didn’t trigger his allergies.
I don’t know if tipping is a thing for house cleaning, but I tipped them regardless because of my gratitude for their work. I will definitely be using Smile’s Housecleaning again.

Terrible. Unproffesional. Rude. LIke one of the prior reviews also bought a deal from Amazon Local for a 4 hour DEEP cleaning. Took 3 months for an appointment. When the day finally arrived, there were 3 ladies, and i was told they would be working for 1 hr 20 mts each, which i was OK with. Did not agree to clean the oven, or certain parts of the toilet. When asked why, «We don’t do that». Also finished off in 1 hour as opposed to the 1hr 20 mts each as agreed initially. Overall a waste of time. Save your $ and choose someone else who appreciates your business.

On time, efficient and great cleaning service. Catia and her cleaning team always leave my home spotless, don’t waste anytime and are sensitive to the fact that I have a cat and a dog in the home (no worries about someone getting out!) Like the first reviewer on this site, I was introduced to Smile’s through an Amazon Local coupon but unlike them, I’m very happy with the service and intend to continue to use Catia.

Bought a voucher through Amazon Local. Took days to respond to email asking for appointment. No response to email asking for a different date than the one offered. Days to respond to confirmation email. Then, when the day finally came, almost a month after I first asked for an appointment, they never showed up. No call or email to explain. Extremely unprofessional and a waste of your time.
