Join us at the newest Smith & Wollensky restaurant at 294 Congress Street. The location is part of Boston Properties’ prestigious Atlantic Wharf project located between the new Rose Kennedy Greenway and historic Boston Harbor. Offering a breathtaking waterfront view, the 10,000-square-foot space includes a full-service raw oyster bar. The outdoor patio, bar and lounge add to the restaurant’s unique Harbor experience. The European-style exposition kitchen provides culinary entertainment while lush furnishings of wood and leather create a cozy and inviting interior retreat. The restaurant is open for brunch, lunch and dinner.
History
Established in 2011.
A prime spotting place for local celebrities, political figures and even a few movie stars, Smith & Wollensky has long been considered a premier steakhouse destination. Offering simple elegant food in a refined setting, the experience is uniquely American – and says unequivocally «YOU’VE ARRIVED™.»
Our signature green and white building was established in 1977 in New York. Today, with nine iconic and distinctively different locations, it continues to symbolize the timeless luxury of Prime USDA steaks, fresh seafood and award-winning wines. We’re still the only national steakhouse to dry-age and butcher on site, fly in lobster daily and make our sides and pastries by hand. Our staff put your comfort and pleasure as their absolute priority. So whether you visit for an intimate gathering or large celebration, you’ll be glad when you’ve arrived.
Meet the Manager
Val D.
Manager
Valeriu «Val» Domnici first worked as a server within the Las Vegas location of Smith & Wollensky, where his colleagues quickly saw that his work ethic, positive attitude and passion for food poised him for greater things. In August 2007, he was offered a management position that allowed him to further develop his leadership skills and promote the values of the company.
His achievements in that role led him to the 2011 promotion as Assistant General Manager, charged with opening the Boston Atlantic Wharf location. After several years in the position, he relocated to sunny Miami to serve as the Assistant General Manager of the high volume Smith & Wollensky Miami Beach at South Pointe Park.
His successful tenure and experience with the company lead to his promotion and relocation back to Boston. In June of 2014, he assumed the role of General Manager.
