Terrible, nothing is ever fresh place is trash, why come here when meridian market is down the street and milanos is not far in orient heights, don’t waste your time, close this dump !

The people who run this place couldn’t be friendlier, and their sandwiches are delicious. We managed to eat there twice during and right after the hurricane, so got to try and split a few of their huge sandwiches. Perhaps my favorite sandwich was the «steak bomb» (steak, cheese, mushrooms, peppers, and tiny bits of salami), followed closely by their Italian sub with its amazing mix of diced onions and pickles. Their meatball sub was also great.
I wish this place were down the street from me right now in Chicago — I’d be there right now.

I absolutely love this place. I only wished my ‘hood had awesome little bodegas like this. I’ve come here a few times already and it’s DELICIOUS and a fabulous deal… I actually went today and introduced it to the reviewer above me– a fellow friend and lover of awesome food. Today I got the salami and cheese with all the fixings– pickles, lettuce, tomatoes, oil, and swiss cheese. The bread is fresh and yummy and the subs are pretty big size… and yes, it comes with chips! it’s lovely to just pick one up and sit by the harbor and devour it. The place also occasionally has other hot Italian food items (like pasta) and is super clean and has colorful characters. Also you can pick up household items you need or grab some ice cream. My type of store!

Got a turkey and cheese sub. Came with theworks — lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and cheese (no Mayo by choice). Very cheap and tasty. Included a bag of Utz chips for only $ 5!!!
This place is very small and very local. Everyone knows everyone here. there’s a couple of tables inside but expect «familiar conversations from the locals» so if you’re not into that, you can take a short walk to the harborside and have a great view of Boston in a clean park.
This small little convenience store sells the basic things: some veggies, some breads and can goods. They also have deli goods and icees in the freeze by the front of the store.
Staff are very friendly!
