I’m writing this review on behalf of my wife. We recently visited this Starbucks, and she was treated with no respect from the employees. She told me «You are writing a review for this Starbucks after how those guys(employees) treated me. So, happy wife, happy life. Basically, two major things happened. First– we have an 11 month old. He needs to do this thing called eat every few hours. After enjoying some time at the Boston Common, we said, «Hey, let’s grab something refreshing at Starbucks, and relax for a minute.» We ordered four drinks, and took our seats. After about 5 minutes my wife remembered that she needed some hot water for the baby to mix his food. So, she asked the gentleman(I use that term very loosely) if he could give her a cup of hot water. His reply in a very curt tone«I need to finish all of these drinks first.» It’s hot water bro, it’s on tap. Whatever. We wait 10 minutes, and nothing but a hungry baby. Did I mention we ordered 4 drinks. We’re not moochers here. I finally got up, and asked another fella. He handed me a cup of hot water in less than 30 seconds. Second– my wife was waiting in line to use the restroom. There were about 15 people in line. Waiting… waiting…waiting. In front of my wife was a family of 4, one mother three children. If you’ve never parented three young children before, you have no idea the small victory that is in play getting them all to go potty, wipe, wash hands, and not touch ANYTHING. It takes 5 – 10 minutes to accomplish this on a good day. To my wife’s astonishment, a Starbucks employee comes walking over, and begins to pound on the door telling this woman to «Hurry up!» Pound, pound pound again. The woman opens the door, and is completely humiliated, and apologizes… for NOTHING! All she did was give her kids a hoop to potty on. Not to be political here, but it’s guys like these Starbucks employees who want $ 15 an hour. Riiiiight. Due to the lack of customer service, next time we’re in Beantown, we will not be visiting this Starbucks located oh so close to Cheers. Coach would be embarrassed of this coffee shop!

Nice set up at this location and very friendly service! Each table has wireless Powermat chargers, but they only work with specific phone devices. It was a great idea, but not practical for all patrons. There was only one restroom for this busy location, and it was very dirty and dark.

Friendly service, clean, and very relaxing. Perfect place to do a little studying! The tiramisu latte is really good; one of my new favorite.

I work in the area and I’ve never had a bad experience here. Baristas are friendly, and patient, and have been accurate on simple coffee or more complex espresso orders. The only drawback of this location is that it is small and is better for a quick cup to go than for people watching. There is seating inside, but the location feels small and is often crowded with people waiting for their orders or queuing to the door.

Terrible service and incredibly bad attitude. Walk a few more blocks to a better coffee shop. Not worth it!

This might be an anomaly, but they forgot the filter in the coffee machine. The bottom of the cup was filled with coffee grounds! FYI: It takes some time to get the grounds out of your mouth!

So perplexed. Would normally not distinguish one Starbucks from another(although this new larger space is definitely better than the former location). The service here though — I ordered an iced vanilla latte. I received one with 2 ½ inches of empty space at the top. It turns out my server wrote«w/room». Who gets room on an iced vanilla latte? I was perfectly polite when ordering, so I can only imagine that my server was having a bad day. But don’t take it out on innocent customers! So unprofessional.

I love the new space. It’s bigger and open. Lots of seating room along the glass panel as well as inside. Love the new décor as well. Can’t wait to hang out here like the one on Boylston Street in Back Bay.
