This store is pretty good. The staffs are fast and friendly. I never had a bad drinks here before. The store are alway clean and neat. The space inside is small though. Sometime if the store is crowded the line could be out the door.

Good quality Starbucks. Baristas all know what they’re doing and how to do it well. It’s VERY small though. Definitely a grab and go if you aren’t by yourself. I like how it’s just a minute walk from State Street station(orange/blue line stop). I also like how it’s right across the street from a Dunkin Donuts, which seems to be a very common coincidence in Boston. Great place overall. Have been going here and will be going here for probably as long as it’s open and I live in Boston.

The breakfast sandwich was stale and served cold. Big swing and a miss. The food at Pret next door is far better

I’m not sure why, but this is generally my go to place to study. I say this with hesitancy because this starbucks is LOUD. There always seems to be young people in here, having conversations that they are apparently hoping everyone else in the café will hear. Also, there is some sort of construction or something going on next door(I can’t figure out what) because if you’re there at the right time, there are these pounding THUD noises that scare you senseless if you weren’t prepared for them. Actually, since this semester started I haven’t heard these noises the few mornings that I’ve gone, so maybe it’s better this semester? As for the good: the service is always REALLY friendly. Like, they often even remember your name if you’re in there enough. Typical Starbucks menu, so there’s not much more to say on that topic. Also, the seating is scarce, but I really love the seating(if you can get a spot) and the music, which probably has me coming back. The bar stools by the windows are perfect, especially if you love getting some natural light while you’re studying! Also, if it’s a nicer day, there’s outdoor seating which is always a bonus.

If I could mark up a 3.5 on this I think it may reflect the location better, though the extra half may only be due to my necessary frequency. I really only started coming here as I work remotely on certain days and this is my closest café in the greater Brighton area’s confusing lack of coffee shops. It’s an easy on-off the 57 bus if that’s your mode-dú-tour, along with a decent sized parking lot in the rear of the building. Service-wise, I have never had an issue. Always a friendly attendant and speedy service, unless of course there is a crowded line(which is to be expected at a Starbucks anywhere). Building-wise: This is quite possibly the loudest Starbucks I have ever been to. I’m not sure if it’s a cinder block aerobics class or some form of free-fall yoga, but there is frequently an alarmingly loud and abrupt bashing that will come in spurts from the floor above. The warehouse-esq high ceiling also carries quite an echo from the smallest machine sound or conversation, making for quite an annoyingly loud echo environment. Seating is extremely scarce and oddly arranged for the crowd that is drawn. There is a medium school-style table, a few window counter hightops, 4 single couches, and three outdoor tables. The options leftover after your order are almost always awkwardly close to your fellow patrons, or non-existant. There is always a large crowd of international students from the local school, along with a fairly large high school crowd in the afternoon. Combine the tendencies of teenagers with the scarce seating and grand echo of our delightful little coffee captitol and you’ve got quite the antithesis of a relaxing visit to the café. My one favorite thing about this place: The music. There’s always a delightful blend of lounge, deep house, indie/dance, and jazz. Perfect for someone with a grab-bag taste in eclectic music that most people only bob to in elevators.

This Starbucks is one of the better ones that I have been to. I usually stop in in the morning before work, and am in and out in less than 5 minutes. The employees are friendly, efficient and always get my order right.

Every time I go here(and I live upstairs so it’s pretty often) I see nothing but the staff gossiping with eachother in the backroom, barely paying attention to customers and f&*king up orders.

This Starbucks is in a great spot — lots of street parking and off-street lot parking! As with other Starbucks stores, this one is fairly large, has free Wi-Fi, and friendly staff. It is also very clean. My only gripe is that there is very limited seating by comparison to other Starbucks locations in the area.

This place is SO slow. The baristas never greet me and even though there are at least three people working behind the bar, the service moves along glacially. I would like to give 2.5 stars, but because I can’t, this place gets 3 only because they carry Fresh Revolution juices. I always walk out feeling frustrated at the lack of customer service.

This location has gone down hill… and fast! The customer service is nonexistent, the employees make it clear they don’t want to be there nor want us, the customers, to be there. Rather than greeting and asking what they can get for you, you get a stare down until you realize that means, «Tell me what you want.» Awkward, uncomfortable & unpleasant. I’m finding a new regular coffee place.

out of the 239874293874 starbucks in this area, i’d say this is the best one. it’s efficient, clean, comfortable, and has probably the largest selection of food. the baristas are nicer, too.

I think I have stated before that, when it comes to product, Starbucks is Starbucks is Starbucks. The thing that makes one Starbucks better than the other is the people. I have been hitting this particular shop for 2+ years and the staff is friendly and almost entirely devoid of snark. There is very little turnover here; the staff has been the same since I started going there with a few exceptions. The lines get long but it’s a Starbucks in the city, so that is to be expected. My boss goes in with empty coffee bags(so essentially his trash) and demands a free cup of coffee and they give it to him. Now THAT is patience.

When is the last time you had coffee art done into the top of your STARBUCKS latte? Yea, I noticed this place was cool when I got that. The foam finish and milk texture and temperature were just perfect. Friendly? Yes. Fast? Yes. Good conversation from the barista? Yes! A+ for todays efforts.

It’s odd– while this is the busiest Starbucks I’ve ever been to(I think), I barely ever find myself hovering around the barista hand-off counter for agonizing minutes like some other Starbucks stores that have way fewer customers. They are very fast, but they generally do not scrimp on making great tasting drinks. It’s in an area where there are thousands of other Starbucks within a stone’s throw, but this one seems cleaner and more organized. I’ve had some friendly banter myself with the staff at the store, and they are all extremely friendly and have great senses of humor. My only wish is that this were a slightly larger store so they could have more seating, as opposed to a small counter along the window which seats about six. Plus the other day one of them drew on the little barista chalkboard: «I can has latte?» And a little kitten. How fantastic is that?!
