Why is this place so janky!!! What’s janky mean you ask? So glad you asked. It’s a a person/place/thing that should(in theory) be normal… but is not. I don’t make accounts to write negative reviews, you can check! But really… this is the most janky Subway and I wished there was another within a reasonable distance. I understand this is a franchise, so it can’t reflect too poorly on Subway as a chain, but seriously, this is one of the worse subways. Came here to grab a quick bite to go during lunch with the fabulous Subway coupons I received in my mail. I said«turkey and ham please» and the lady behind the glass proceeded to put 3 slices(yes, all 3 slices were visible, so I know the exact number) of turkey on my honey oat bread with cheese on it then asked«toasted?» and I couldn’t understand her through her thick accent so she had to ask a couple of times before I said«oh, yes… toasted please.» Then she threw the sandwich in the oven. When she took it out… I noticed that there was no ham on there. So I asked«um is that the turkey and ham?» and she glared… not looked up,…glared up from my bread and said«YOUSAIDTURKEYSANDWICH!» and I said very calmly as I could see she was about to get emotional, «no…I said turkey and ham… and you haven’t finished the sandwich yet, I believe it’d be fine if you could put some ham on there»…she started talking to her coworker at the cash register in a foreign language… then simply handed the sandwich to her coworker who asked me what veggies I wanted. Just like that. As if I never said anything. Now a line was forming… it was lunch… and in an attempt to not cause trouble, I just said whatever. I’ll eat my plainly 3 sliced sandwich and call it a day. BUT the fun doesn’t end there. Their cash register malfunctions after swiping my card twice and you can only take cash all of a sudden. So I should probably check my credit card report because that seems fishy. She stopped taking the payment of my friend behind me(who also had a coupon) and made me pay cash… but a part of me wonders what would’ve happened if I didn’t have cash? Would they have to throw the sandwich away? Would they have to add ham on it for another person? I digress… then she takes the cash of my friend behind me and charges full price instead of coupon price. My friend informed the lady that he’s got the coupon… lady: «YOUDIDN’T GIVETHISTOMEBEFOREPAYMENT, YOUCAN’T DOTHIS!» friend: «um…you took the coupon and put it down yourself when your credit card machine crashed and you had to change payment for my friend a minute ago. The coupon has been sitting on this counter in front of you the whole time.» lady has foreign language talks with her coworker. «OKOK nono, you gave this too late, use next time.» friend: «NO, mam… the coupon has been sitting here this WHOLE time!» —more foreign language talks, lunch line forming longer and longer, everyone staring — «okok fine, but next time you present it FIRST.» friend:“fine“ And that is why unless there is more magical coupons that is going to offer me free subway — this really was not worth it. Also the sandwich was not that good. truly.

Visited on a Monday night just before 9. The employee was rude and checking his phone before preparing food, causing us to wait. WWE is not a great choice of TV in a restaurant. The food was normal subway, nothing special.

The subs are delicious, but they charge so much $ for an extra slice of cheese… No worthed!

The owners knows that they will make money regardless of how they threat customers. I give them plenty of business, yet each time I’m treated as though I’m their cattle. One man in particular is quite rude. The women that work there have all been very pleasant. Sometimes the ladies even remember my favorite order. :) Some of the men, on the other hand, treat customers with an astounding level of disrespect. This is the only Subway I’ve been to where the quality of sandwiches are sub par. They are thrown together and often have only two pieces of vegetables I request and a small pinch of others. I hope someone from the store sees this and tries to improve the male staff quality. I really enjoy the convince of getting a sandwich for $ 5, but it is a hard process having to tell him that two slices of meat and two slices of tomato isn’t the usual amount that the average Subway uses for its six inch sandwiches. It’s a constant battle. I’m still hopeful that the issues will be corrected.

Health Hazard This place was gross, and totally filthy… after ordering my sandwich I scanned for tables and none were clean. We’re talking spilled drinks, salad and condiments everywhere, just plain gross. When I asked the counter lady if I could get some napkins to clean the table I thought she would take the hint. Nope, she just gave me some napkins and watched me as I cleaned off the table. I eat at subway all the time and this is probably the worst I’ve been to.

Had a big and delicious sandwich there couple day ago. Spectacular service and lots of smiles. It’s not for me to say, but it might be one of the best Subway restaurants nationwide!

Sometimes a girl needs some veggies, cheese & bread. When that’s the case, I head to my local subway and get a 6″ veggie delite(lettuce, spinach, olives, tomatoes, green peppers, & cheese on 9-grain honey oat) and diet a coke. I’m not sure if this location came under new management lately, but there’s a vast improvement! They used to be super stingy with the veggies and looked annoyed if I asked for more than one tomato slice. Now, they load on the toppings and even joke with the customers once in a while. BIG love for the woman who changed her gloves between meat and non meat subs. How thoughtful! This location is very close to Fenway Park, so I suggest stopping by for a light dinner before the game. The veggies will help to alleviate any guilt you may feel after eating the inevitable 7th inning nachos. Yes, I love nachos and eat them everywhere I go. Don’t judge.

After going there so many times from my breaks from work, they’re getting 5 stars. Got to know the owner slightly better than before by watching him in action a good amount of times, hes an awesome guy. The other employees are awesome too. Every now and then I’ve seen new employees, but give them two weeks they’re pros in no time. Very chill, not afraid to call out to his workers when they aren’t making sandwiches up to standard, and I’ve seen him give tips every now and then on how to handle the rushes they get. All the workers seem to like him, which in turn, makes happy employees, makes awesome sandwiches, and makes me happy to go there! People are probably reading this and wondering, how do you screw up a subway? Well, go to the one in the mass ave T stop and you’ll see a difference.

Its a subway… you get it your way… sometimes for five bucks! Staff is a bit pushy about the surveys… but they give you a free cookie if you bring it back filled out, so I can live with that! Otherwise, quick friendly, and what you expect here.
