Standard Subway here. Subs are good. Vegetables are fresh. Prices are reasonable. It’s convenient.

I normally eat at this Subway 2 or 3 times a week. sometimes more… Today I went in expecting to get a quick bite to eat only to be told that they don’t have any bread… Umm you sell sandwiches… how do you not have any bread. It’s a Monday afternoon at 1 pm. I understand it’s a holiday but a lot of people still work. If you aren’t going to be prepared to sell sandwiches why even open up at all.

This Subway location next to Jane’s Buffet is tiny, so it is pretty cramped when you’re waiting in line. But they have 3 tables for two spaced against one wall, and six stools set along the counter by the window, so you can eat in if you like and find yourself an open spot. The lunch rush(primarily take-out) was mostly over by 1:20pm. Requesting your sandwich toasted causes a bit of a stall in the line. Even worse of a stall is when you ask for soup($ 2 with a sandwich, $ 2.50 by itself), since the single worker manning the cash register then pops out back to get it. The 10 oz broccoli chedder soup was pipping hot and full of chunky broccoli florets though. And while my sandwich with the veggie add ons were a bit askew, said veggies were pretty fresh. And the 4 little meatballs of an inch in diameter in my $ 2 six-inch Customer Appreciation Month meatball sub were tender and meaty. Acceptable for what it was. Lunch for under $ 5? Yes please!

It’s Subway so you know what to expect. I usually get the Tuna Melt here and it is pretty decent.

I don’t normally go online ranting about chain food establishments because — let’s be honest, you really get what you pay for these days. This particular Subway has been grinding my gears for months now though, and I finally decided to write something about it in the hopes that those who work in and around it(as I do) can beware. I eat at this Subway often… and by often I mean once every week or two when I’m too lazy to pack a lunch for work and really don’t feel like losing an arm and a leg for a midday meal. Building on what someone else here said, you definitely don’t want to go there around noon, but that’s to be expected downtown at lunch hour. My beef with this location is the way they handle everything. Whether they’re shouting across the room to get your order to get everyone’s sandwiches started(just to have you repeat it a few moments later when you actually reach the counter) or messing up what actually goes on the sandwich, they can’t seem to get things right. In the several months I’ve been going to this location, I have not *once* left with my correct order. Ever. Here are some of the more interesting foibles I’ve decided I will put up with in the name of cheap lunch fare: I always ask for everything but olives and cucumbers. I rarely if ever leave the store without olives on my sandwich. I will receive mayo or honey mustard nearly every time I request brown/spicy mustard. They toast my sandwich half the time when I say no(when they ask).(I order an item that normally comes toasted, and I think they only half pay attention when they ask.) The list goes on endlessly. They get two stars instead of one though for one reason: they’re actually really nice and apologetic when you point out their sandwich-making errors. I’ve never once had to ask them to remake a sandwich when they’ve messed it up beyond repair — they just do it instinctively. They’re quite nice/pleasant when they’re not messing up your sandwich.

I would never come back here. I ordered my food and all the while one of the employees was behind the line eating with his gloves on. The guy who helped me was pretty rude, the floor was pretty gross and my bread was rock hard stale. Don’t they bake the bread there? WTF? Never, never, never.

Subway food is all basically the same to me, but I like the employees at this location. I’m there a lot and usually order the same thing, so they often have my sandwhich made for me before I even get to the counter. They’re super friendly.

Went to this Subway for lunch today and was not impressed. They put 4 slices of turkey on my large sandwich — he had 5 slices on and took one off! Also, nobody at this location speaks fluent English so it is very hard to communicate with the workers. Lastly, they eliminated their Tuesday $ 4 sub special — turkey subs are now $ 6 each! Definitely won’t be going back to this location anymore.

As I write this review, I am aware of the inner turmoil that brews in respect to my newly found appreciation of eating whole foods as much as possible. My not-so-secret appreciation of Subway really contradicts that, but every oneneeds to be bad once in a while. A quick, simple, cheap fix to mid-afternoon hunger attack. I mean, it’s a Subway. There is nothing special about this Subway, except it’s proximity to my job. The staff is nice and efficient. It’s very clean.

Well it is Subway. The reason I am writing is that the store has three employees that work every day and are very fast and efficient. Also on Tuesday they have a deal called«Super Tuesday». They sell most of their foot long cold subs for 3.99. So don’t go there right at Noon
