Great food, great service, and a relaxing atmosphere. Came for brunch on the weekend and it wasn’t overpriced and my bloody Mary is huge!

Tavern in the Square at North End offers good food with stellar customer service. For someone with Celiac disease, this restaurant offers quite a lot of tasty options. Great job guys!

I watched a soccer game once in here and kicked back some beers with my guy pals. They have the typical American faire, with a Boston twist, so expect some grease, but after all that on tap you won’t care about that anymore lol The wait staff kept um coming — never had to wait!

I came here for brunch right around the time they opened. I was a little disconcerted when I asked for a bloody mary, and the immediate response was, «I don’t think we have any, but I’ll check.» A bloody mary is a standard for brunch, IMHO. When the server returned, he proclaimed, «We have it, but it’s from a mix.» The tone he spoke this denoted that he wasn’t thrilled about it, though. I still asked for the bloody mary, and was sorely disappointed by the concoction, especially for the high price. Even so, I do appreciate the attempt at meeting my needs. The food was nothing to write home about, but the outdoor patio was nice. We had a large party after an event, so they were able to accommodate us all. And again, they were just opening, so I cut people slack. I returned a few months later, since I live in the apartments right about this location. I got take out, though. I ordered a burger with fries. While the burger was alright, the fries were spectacular: large, seasoned steak fries with a healthy portion. They even gave me ranch dressing when requested. :-) Overall, TITS serves standard bar fare, albeit slightly overpriced, especially for this area that contains many sports bars with cheaper bar food. This explains my 3 star rating. I will definitely give this place another go, since I hear the beer selection is pretty stellar.

Great beer selection. Their beer club is fun but they make you drink TOO many(50) for only a small reward at the end compared to others nation wide I’ve done. Tater tots are great here. Diablo burger and Buffalo chicken sandwich are favorites

Place was awesome. Went before a bruins game when it was packed and the bartenders were so attentive, especially Adam. Very genuine food recommendations and very friendly! One thing I will say about the restaurant — the butter knives they give you in a utensil roll up just don’t cut it(literally). Tried to cut my buffalo tender and basically just mutilated it instead. Sharper knives, please!

Best Tavern location for screens, food, and service. We ate a lot – it was all good and we had a great time. Eric took care of us. The s’more is a lot richer than you’d think. One was enough for 4 people to share. Really enjoyed the steak sandwich and appetizers too. Mango crush was delicious, but other drinks looked good too. Hit it up on a Friday night.

BRUNCHATNORTHSTATIONLOCATIONISNOTBUFFETBRUNCH — ITSAWFUL! The brunch buffet is the only reason I ever go to TITS, I’m sure their bar food is great but so is every other sports bar, his is a brunch only review — Service was great/Food is AWFUL This new location at North Station has a big banner advertising brunch… DON’T DOIT!!! We went in for the buffet, quickly figured out they didn’t have one but decided we’ll try brunch anyway… bad choice. There are only 8(very odd) things on the menu and apparently you can’t sub anything ever. I asked for huevos rancheros with no beans — can’t do it. I asked for Eggs bene with bacon instead of ham — can’t do it(even though you can order a side of bacon for 5.99 and do the switch yourself, apparently the kitchen is incapable of this) I’m glad I didn’t order the Huevos because my bf did and they were the most disgusting thing I’ve ever seen. A soupy mix of black beans, salsa, some sort of cheese sauce, poached eggs somewhere in there and a bunch of tortilla chips shoved on the top. Super weird and super gross. They should not offer brunch– this was so bad. If you want an awesome brunch there are a million places nearby to get it. If you want an awesome buffet brunch go to ANY other TITS location(except north or south station).

Across from the TD Garden, or in other words, where drunken Red Sox fans go to pre or post game, you will be just fine if your expectations aren’t set too high. The food is decent and the beer is plentiful, it is a pub after all. I also hear there’s a 50⁄50 shot at a pretty good steak salad but I think the burgers are the popular choice here. The late menu is limited and less than decent.

Great beer selection. Really extensive. Had a White Birch blueberry that was excellent. Others in our group loved the Left Hand nitro stout and more. Service was friendly and fast. Bathrooms were very clean. Food: being close to the TD Garden means it’s overpriced but what we were displeased with were the small portions. You get a tiny portion of fries with your burger. Burger taste alright. Tiny portion of potatoes with the $ 18 Argentinean steak, which was served well done although medium was requested. Dinky sized pizza for $ 12. I can get a lot more for my money at other places, and so I intend to return for their great beer selection only.

This place is great for drinks, food & game watching on their multiple tvs(you may have to ask a few times to get the game you want when they’re busy). They have this tasty summer beverage, the watermelon cooler which is all kinds of goodness, I get mine on the rocks cause the colder the better for me. Their hummus app is super tasty & good for sharing. I had the kale & quinoa salad which was really more than enough. They have a good variety of veggie options but I think they could use more. The changed their menu like a year or so ago but still have all kinds of goodness for everybody. I think their service is pretty damn friendly & expedient whether sitting at a table or the bar. So glad I don’t have to schlep to Cambridge like I have in the past.

I decided to go to Tavern on the Green while waiting for a return train to Maine at North Station. Ordered the salmon on plank with quinoa and green beans with side salad. The service was excellent. Food came quickly and was hot and good. Salad with nice variety of greens and light dressing. The salmon was moist and cooked just right. Sides were also well done. I sat outside on the patio and it was beautiful after being inside all day. I would come back the next time I take the train in and would recommend it to others for a quick meal.

This location is close to my home and job. Checked it out again last night with a Co worker and her boyfriend. Don’t worry, I’m OK with being the 3rd wheel ;) Sat outside which was a little windy but that’s our fault. I ordered the calamari for starter and Argentinian steak for main which were all delicious paired with two glasses of Malbec. Our waitress was friendly but not best. I particularity didn’t appreciate the fact she didn’t ask me how I wanted my steak cooked. Thankfully I have the voice to tell her and didn’t wait, to then have to call it back and waste food. Overall nice people and cool atmosphere.

I’ve been here a number of times now, so I’ve seen it in every state from jam-packed after a game to an empty house on a Tuesday night. First things first, the food. The menu is the definition of hit-or-miss. The mac & cheese, tater tots and nachos are excellent. Surprisingly the salads and quinoa dishes are also pleasantly satisfying. I found the burgers and steak tips to be the most uneven across visits, from spot on to «what have you done to my meat?» The flavor of the wings was completely underwhelming. I’d avoid them altogether, as they went almost untouched at our table. I think the real attraction here is how many beers they have on tap. If you have occasion to frequent the area, I highly recommend joining their free«Brew Crew» which gives you small rewards like a t-shirt or free app when you’ve had 50 of their different beers on tap. It might take a long while to complete, but definitely forces you out of your comfort zone. If you want consistent food or a quiet atmosphere, you could do better. If you’re craving comfort food, a large selection of beer on tap or are catching a game at TD, I’d give Tavern a shot. It’s a solid 3 ½ stars in my book.

Went here for a goodbye lunch with my internship team. I got the quinoa bowl with added steak; the menu description sounded delicious and the dish did not disappoint. It was warm and hearty with lots of vegetables. The steak was soft and tender and there was a good amount of avocado, which I appreciated. The fried shallots at the top added a nice texture and flavor. Overall, a filling and good dish. 1 star off because honestly the rest of the menu didn’t sound too appetizing at all. Would I come here again? Probably not. But the quinoa bowl is definitely the superstar of the menu.

Tavern in the Square is just what this neighborhood needed. With the crowds coming and going at North Station and TD Garden, you’d think there would be more places like Boston Beer Works and Tavern in the Square, but they are the only bright lights in an otherwise dim and touristy radius. I’ve been 3 times in the past 6 months, twice for dinner and once just for drinks. Overall, I’ve been impressed by the location, food price and quality, lengthy beer selection, and terrific service. It’s always busy, but this place is big and can handle the crowds. My friend swears by the quinoa bowl. No, really. «I swear, on the quinoa bowl at Tavern in the Square…» Ok, not really. But she basically could. The beer can chicken is delectable, the chicken and waffles is also excellent. The food in general is American but with a twist — not quite«New American» but definitely not«Classic American.» From hostess to servers to bartenders, we’ve only had the most helpful of assistance. Even when breaking the check into portions using creative math, they’ve always been great. Samples of beer are freely offered if you’re stuck choosing between their dozens. They even have a beer tasting progress card so you can check off all the ones you’ve tried. So many local beers! A go-to for drinks or dinner after work, if you’re anywhere near Faneuil or North Station. You can’t go wrong!

Definitely my new favorite spot to watch football. They have the NFL network and every single game playing. You can call ahead to request that your team be put on one of the bar TVs. They don’t offer breakfast but the chicken and waffles were close enough so I ordered them. The portions of boneless breaded chicken are huge. The jalapeño maple syrup is something different that worked really well. It’s an expensive dish, but very filling and totally worth it. They have several options for lunch/dinner and appetizers. What I love is their beer selection. Tons of beer on tap, including more than Shipyard and Octoberfest for the seasonal options. I can’t wait to go back many Sundays over the NFL season!
