Description

Specialties

Tapas, Good, cheap wine, creative cocktails and an inviting atmosphere close to Longwood medical and at the base of Mission Hill!

History

Established in 2007.

In a 100 yr old building on Tremont st, The Savant Project got it’s start as a concept of a tapas bar with an ever evolving theme. We try and keep changing our menu, our cocktails, our wine list and our décor. We have monthly art shows to showcase local artists, live bands on the weekends and an eclectic staff of passionate young professionals.

The tin on the walls were found during construction, unearthed from a previous incarnation of the space and the inherited liquor license (a half license) means we serve beer wine and cordials only. Which means alcohol with a higher sugar content, but no less booze! Ask the bartender — Chartreuse is 110 proof! This license was originally created for cafes in the North End to have sambuca, but The Savant Project has taken this to a unique level, unprecedented in Boston!

Meet the Manager

Maureen H.

Manager

Maureen is an active yelper (elite ’08!) and is passionate about Savant. She bartends full time while managing the place and can be found there almost every weekend. Her passion is the wine and cocktail list which she is constantly researching and revamping. This is her first managing gig, but since receiving the job has put all of her time and effort into making it a success. She firmly believes in great service and wishes to share the spirit of casual awesomeness with all of her customers!
