I would love to give them zero for their service today… total incompetence. I placed an order for delivery through @ 12:01pm and at 12:50pm got a call from the restaurant to clarify one of the items in the order. Like many of you I have to time my lunch between meetings and tried and tried to clarify when we would be actually getting the order we placed. Another hour. So I cancelled the order. Why would a restaurant wait an hour to clarify an order they received almost an hour prior? I guess they lost a customer.

Best Thai restaurant in the financial district! I am a regular customer — always order every Saturday night and come a bunch during the week for lunch. The lines at lunch time can be long at times during the lunch rush — but it is well worth the wait. The food is consistently great and the staff is very friendly. My suggestion is try the Panang curry and the Tom Kha soup!

Food was great, especially the mango fish curry. So much food and freshly made crispy fish. Staff was super nice and always smiling. Not sure why this place only has 3.5 stars! There’s no other place to eat except at bars in the area so this was a great find. Definitely coming back!

The portions are large, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. We ordered scallion pancakes, chicken pad thai, drunken noodles, duck massaman curry, and Tom Yum soup. Everything was very good and we ate ALL of it!

Well, what to say. Food had potential, just kind of mediocre. No one wants mediocre. Tom Kha was like coconut milk, chicken, mushrooms with a hint of fish sauce. Needed some green, perfume of lemon grass! Something, please! Then, Yellow. Curry, good heat and flavor, veg could have been cooked a tad more and again some pop of fresh. Over all, not bad, but not great.

The most authentic Thai food I’ve had in Boston. The spicy chicken wings, green curry and noodle soups are all awesome. Are the staff there are very warm and friendly too. Make sure you say hi to Pat when you’re there — she’s the best !!

My tireless quest to find a new favorite pad thai closer to home brought me here tonight. In short, I have not found my new favorite pad thai, though it wasn’t bad by any means – the noodles were a good texture and compared with other pad thai, it was a little more saucy at the bottom and the flavor profile leaned a little towards sour – nothing outstanding nor egregious. My biggest qualm with U&D Kitchen’s pad thai is this: In my mind, a standard pad thai comes with chicken and shrimp, at least that’s been my experience in the Boston area. At U&D Kitchen, their most basic pad thai comes with either chicken, pork, tofu, or vegetables for $ 10.95. They also have other protein choices such as crispy chicken, shrimp, and duck for $ 11.50, $ 12.50, and $ 12.95, respectively. Even when I asked if I could mix and match within the same price scale(ie. chicken + tofu) there was an upcharge of $ 2. This came across as a little stingy to me so I settled on just chicken.(Note: These are their dinner prices. Lunch is about $ 2 cheaper.) For $ 10.95, it’s a pretty standard portion of pad thai. Pad thai in general is a pretty one-note dish, so with the lack of a second protein, it was even more one-note than usual.

My wife and I found this place during a walk on the Greenway. It’s obviously a place set up for a week day lunch rush being in the Financial District — so we had the place to ourselves. The food was very good — it was so fresh. We had the summer rolls, chicken satay and a special of fried fish with a sauce that was subtle, multi-faceted and bold. I’d love to come back to this place and try the noodle dishes.

Come here for lunch fairly often. Clean place quick food that’s pretty quality for the price. The staff is a lot friendlier under the new owners(I think its new ownership– maybe just a store front refresh though). I like it. Much nuance review. Anyways its a good quick bite if your okay with clean but bare bones décor. Limited seating for parties greater than 2.

I came here on a Friday for a late lunch. It has a nice seating area with some single seats that are facing the window. I got a Thai iced tea and Fish N Herb which is one of the most popular items! The food came out fast and I loved it! The fish was very fresh and it had a good combination of fish, ginger, and veggie. I wish I was there with more people so that I could try more appetizers and other specials. I’d like to come back soon and try some of the spicy chicken dishes!

Not bad food, a bit pricey but its probably because if the location. Nothing to rave about, fairly standard thai food.

Thai food isn’t even close to becoming Boston’s claim to fame. Having said that, I’d rate U&D as better than your average. To be candid, I’ve only ever ordered delivery from here, but would not hesitate to do it everyday. As a matter of fact, they more or less deliver to our office everyday now because I’ve recommended it to so many coworkers. Their delivery time is fast – usually 40 minutes versus the estimated 60 minutes. The drivers as well as staffers who pick up the phone have always been incredibly sweet. They’ve had to edit my order over the phone several times and each change was always easy and quickly handled. As far as food goes: Do try the garlic udon, pad thai… or really any of their fried noodles. Their goi is good, just make sure to request less dressing. The beef salad is also good. And they don’t kid around with the crispy chicken. it is CRISPY! The iced coffee and thai tea are a bit of a jip – it’s a lot of ice. The sweet sticky rice is perfect and the mango was surprisingly sweet. What wouldn’t I get here? Definitely fried rice. The flavors are ok but the rice is clumpy and a little mushy – systems of not letting rice dry overnight in the fridge. The bun doesn’t have enough meat or veggies and comes with very little sauce. The fresh rolls are also very loosely wrapped = messy eating experience.

I’ve been there twice after the new owners took over. The first time the wait was long for the small order I placed but it was right after they opened so I attributed it to their lack of experience. The food is not something to write home about. Pretty meh, especially for the prices they charge. My second and last time I visited 2 months later I had a pretty bad experience. When I placed my order(a simple tom yum and crab rangoon) there was ONE order before mine. 20 minutes later that and six orders after mine were out while mine has been sitting ready to pack and getting cold right in front of my eyes for quite a while. When I tried raising the issue with the staff they just chose to ignore me. Thanks but no thanks. Plenty of other fish in the sea…

First and foremost I like the service when I order delivery. Whoever answers the phone there is always very nice and upbeat and understands english perfectly and speaks very clearly as well! Yay! While their red curry on a scale of bad to amazeballs is only good, I am a huuuuuge fan of their beef noodle soup and the fact that when they deliver the soup the noodles come separate so that they don’t get soggy before you smash them into your mouth! …And who doesn’t like a scallion pancake? Simple pleasures in life!

Yikes this is some of the worst food I’ve had in a while. I ordered delivery and got fried chicken dumplings, grilled beef sandwich and tom kha soup. First things first– dumplings were cold, soggy and SUPER greasy. Like inedible. And they taste just like Trader Joes frozen dumplings so I assume they just deep fry those? The sandwich was horrid. I paid $ 7.95 for what exactly? Stale/dried out bread, dry flavorless beef and some sprinkling of daikon. I was hoping for something close to a Banh Mi but no. It’s not. The tom kha. omg… It literally tasted like someone had leftover tom kha soup(like 1⁄3 cup) and then just poured in a bunch of hot water to add volume to it. EEEEK! I really was hoping this could be my new Thai place but with most of the food being inedible I have to say no. Just no.

Went there for lunch two days ago for the first time. It was really packed on lunch time, but the wait wasn’t too bad. I got the Beef Macadamia, and my coworker got Yoo Dee Noodle soup. They all tasted excellent! The staff is all very friendly. I also stopped by to try their chicken wings last night, and love it! Will come back to try something else on the menu soon.

Mixed feelings on this place. I came at 12:00 on a Tuesday, and they quickly got slammed. I’m pretty sure they are fairly new, so I don’t think they were ready for the massive financial district lunch crowd. I waited at least 20 minutes for my meal while everyone that ordered after me was getting their food. Very clean and everyone that worked there was very nice. My chicken teriyaki was okay, but I probably wouldn’t go back for it I will definitely give it another shot in a few months when they have been around for a bit. Everyone else’s food around me looked really good.
