What a find this place is. I usually have panic attacks when flying due to fears of being stuck with eating garbage and missing my flight, but when I saw this place I knew I could spend that hour I take for precautionary measures in relative glossy eyed tranquility. Wine was great and the little plate of mixed olives was perfect accompaniment. The bartender was gregarious without being intrusive. If you turn your seat just right you can almost believe you are back in Italy and not in some sterile transportation center. Just don’t forget that you are there to take a flight!

If you’re looking for a cheap meal, don’t go here. However, this is my Terminal A go-to since the ingredients are high quality, chicken is always perfectly cooked, wine flights are well presented, music is good, and the«patio seating» is nice(aka you can grab a seat on the edge of the restaurant and people watch all the travelers.

Grabbed a bite before a flight. I got the pulled pork tacos. I would strongly advice against getting that here. It was disgusting!!! Not only was there very little pork, it was a questionable color. I was so grossed out that I didn’t even end up eating it. The drinks are fine, but stay away from the food!

Stopped in for a pre-flight meal. The grilled chicken on salad was very good($ 12 — a bit smallish, but quality ingredients. The plate of prosciutto etc was also good. A surprisingly elegant find in an airport — a well notated wine list(many choices about $ 9 – 12 per glass), and one choice for dessert but it’s pretty good choice: a dark chocolate terrine, small, but good. Not especially cheap but not bad for an airport and it is real food. Service was very pleasant. Recommended!

Good food. Good wine. But don’t go as a party of one. You will be waiting a while as all the parties of two eat.

Decent for airport terminal food. A bit pricey, but the ingredients are good. Enjoyed a glass of wine and a fig and prosciutto sandwich before my flight(wish the bread was toasted though). Small but varied menu and decent spectrum of wine. Solid.

Waiting for a flight on Friday at 5pm. Sat at the bar for some excellent ppl watching(a Southie chick with some money — HILARIOUS conversation on her cell phone). Bar tender was really good — really knew the wines. Had a Garnacha wine: rich and full bodied I ordered the roasted chicken salad: to be nice, it had a nice taste and was loaded with cheese. But, the chicken was very thinly sliced, dry, clearly heated in a microwave(came out in literally 2 minutes), and there was barely any — maybe 1 oz? But again, tasted okay. My girlfriend had the Smoked salmon rolls: crostini w salmon and paste — quite tasty

So so. Lamb meatballs were in the microwave too long – tough and bland. Ate half of one and gave up. Server expressed no interest as to why dish was returned 80% uneaten. Wines skew to light and fruity, would like to see a few more complex offerings. Staff was friendly but uninformed regarding the wine selections. Have been in several branches of this chain and most are better than this one.

Good and attentive service. Have a glass of wine and olives and relax before your next flight. The wine selection is reasonable and the toasted almonds go really well.

This a great way to start any trip! I was highly impressed with the food and the service here. As you are enjoying your snacks you may even forget you are in an airport. The only downside I found was that it is pricey so be mindful of that, but overall for what you are getting inside an airport, it is exceptional! Try the rosemary nuts, they are awesome! I also really enjoyed the truffled mac and cheese and the fig and brie sandwich.

Great little wine bar in the international lounge. House red is a Mandrarossa. Tasty. Small plates. Airport prices. Pleasant service. A very good menu of wine choices for a small bar.

American Tables had dinner at Vino Volo a few weeks while waiting in the airport. When you’re stuck somewhere with a lot of time to kill, it’s a blessing to find a decent restaurant. What’s on point: We shared a cheese plate and a charcuterie plate and it was a great snack to have before getting on the plane. Their small plates are very well done. The smoked salmon was wonderful. The waitstaff was very friendly, and knowledgeable. Multiple people waited on us, and they were all very nice. What to watch out for: It’s in an airport. So the atmosphere is really lacking, but they make do with what they have.

If you want something other than your typical airport fare, I highly recommend Vino Volo while you are waiting for your flight. My friends and I had a light lunch here and it was delicious and left us content. I ordered the brie and prosciutto sandwich and had some of the smoked salmon rolls. The flavors in the sandwich were pronounced– the fig jam paired nicely with the saltiness of the prosciutto and the creamy texture of the brie. Only thing I would change was the bread that they used. The salmon rolls are the perfect light snack. They have wine pairings for every dish. We also had the Boston cream pie, but it was ok. I wouldn’t suggest ordering it.

Great location in Terminal A of Boston Logan Airport to enjoy a glass of wine and a lite meal before catching a flight. They have a great selection of wine and small plates menu. I enjoyed the Shades of White flight of wine and a Salmon appetizer(don’t remember the name). Highly recommend it!

This place might have good wine but the food was a complete rip off. If they are worth the price they should state the special care or ingredients that go into this overpriced food. I was expecting a meal when I ordered the roasted lamb meatballs but instead I got three meatballs and paid $ 12 with tax for them. The waitress took a long time too to take our check. I’m never coming back here again and don’t recommend it. I learned to read the fine print in a menu; I assumed that like other restaurants pasta or rice or actual food comes with the meat, but there was nothing on the menu that suggested that! I have a photo of the meatballs you can see for yourself

The one spot of culinary light right beside the shadows of the Terminal E food court, Vino Volo always makes that long wait for an international flight a lot more bearable. I’m a big fan of their brie and prosciutto sandwich, served with fig jam – I’m quite the sucker for brie, and that sandwich is a hit. Over the course of my wait, I also had a glass of Newport Riesling, and tried the«daring and different» flight(with three types of reds). The pinotage at the end of the flight was absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to grab a bottle of it if I see it around. This particular branch has outstanding service and very friendly waitstaff. They also have reliable wifi and power outlets below each seat at the bar – saviours of my laptop and phone batteries!

I am always thrilled to find vino volo at an airport, it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside knowing I’ll be on the plane after a lovely glass(or three!) of tasty vintages and a bite of something I’d be eager to eat even outside the confines of the terminal! Haven’t taken advantage of the buying option but what a wonderful concept, having the opportunity to bring a bottle along. So here I sit, with my glass of carmenere and a fresh little salad w creamy goat cheese, wishing I had time to order their truffle penne and cheese(a fave). Altho having tasted the chickpea and chorizo chili, I may have to fly more often to satiate my taste buds!

Until Vino Volo came to Terminal A in November, Terminal A had food options that ranged from terrible to meh. The latter is LTK which has been a mediocre version of the Legal served in Terminal C for the last 4 years. Keep in mind this is in the Satellite Terminal(A13-A22). If you’ve been to Vino Volo before, this location is up to their standard. It’s essentially become the best airport chain for a business travel to get a good mean(instead of eating at Sparro’s, Phillip’s Seafood…). Rundown on the grub: — salad — do it — Meatballs — pretty good, but I’d explore more of the menu — Great soups — Chocolate Torte is a great way to wrap up

New location of an established chain. Wine selection and mini meals seem the same high quality as the other locations. The place was packed but the staff was quick to serve everyone and get everyone their checks quickly.

Alone in the search for a satisfying pre-flight meal? Looking for something other than Starbucks or Burger King? Vino Volo is the place to be, especially if you want delicious wine pairings with your artisanal dishes. Quick and friendly service, high quality food, and good pricing are the KSFs that make me want to return the next time I’m taking an international flight.
