We had tried our own troubleshooting and 2 other service companies before finally turning to ASAP to fix our KitchenAid refrigerator. We had the problem for 2 months and I wished we gave ASAP a call earlier. They were really professional, scheduled the appointment for the following week.
The technician (V) was right on time in the time window provided to us. He was very knowledgeable about our fridge model, was very patient listening to the entire story of how we tried to fix it ourselves and then fixed the problem in about 10 minutes.
The service call was 85+tax but so worth it considering that they did not charge us anything for labor.

My washing machine seized up on me mid-​cycle, all fill, no spin, no drain. What a huge bummer. I called ASAP and they scheduled me for a visit from a technician a few days later. I was convinced that after waiting 3 days for a tech to come look at my washer that they’d say, «Give it up lady, this washer’s a goner!»
Imagine my surprise and delight when James showed up, reached into my washer, gave it a jiggle and got it running right away. Turned out a couple wires had come loose and just needed some tightening to get things spinning again. I was only charged for the housecall since the that comes with 15 minutes of service and it took him, literally, 3 minutes to fix the problem. As he was leaving he even said to give him a call if i have any other future problems and maybe he could troubleshoot over the phone before having to come out fora service call.
I’m delighted. I’ll definitely use ASAP when the rest of my aging appliances go on the fritz.

I had KA hood under warranty; the hood was brand new but did not provide any air suction when it is turned on. KA sent this company to fix it. Steve showed up. He dropped the filter 3 times & caused one dented. He could not diagnose the issue & said he would do some follow-​ups. He also promised that he would replace my filters. Two days later he called, saying the filters are not covered under my warranty. I mentioned how about the key reason for his visit (no air suction), he just hang up the phone & I never heard back from him.
Later I called KA; their customer service team immediately promised to sending me the filter replacement broke by Steve. They also sent another company, who fixed my issue in 5 minutes.
Overall, he lacked knowledge & good client service skills.

really really great !! the price is reasonable, we just bought the house, and we waive the inspection when we bought this, after we move in we found the refrigerator need to repair, I called many service company they told me but they dont know what I say (maybe my english is very poor, but they dont have too much patient as well)!! but ApplianceASAP customer service is very nice and patient, they schedule my repair service next day between 11 am — 2pm, and James came on time about 11:10, professional and nice, he told me the problem about the refrigerator, and give me a quote, my friend told me repair this part should be $ 300,but James just give me $ 200 quote (include the $ 85 diagnose fee and tax)!! amazing! and he told me we should wait for a part 1 business day, they will call me if that part in stock. After James left, they send me a copy of receipt and another email feel sorry about unable to repair it today. And today James come here again with that part, quick replace the defect part.
overall, good service, nice person, as a foreigner in USA I really really recommend this company!!!

The owner is wonderful and super knowledgeable. Helped me over the phone to troubleshoot the part I needed for my stovetop and then promised to wait until I showed, even though it was close to closing. Very kind. Outstanding customer service!

I wish all customer service was like this. My problem was fixed quickly and hassle free. I am pleased!
They had a professional sounding person answering the phone. When the service expert arrived he opened the freezer, tapped on the thermometer motor in the freezer and it began. Basically, he knew what he was doing and diagnosed the problem in 4 minutes. He ordered the part and installed it 2 days later in about 6 minutes. I have a lot of respect who have the knowledge to address the problem and to fix it.
This is a company who will get lots of word of mouth business. Thanks.
They have an ipad to do the billing easily. Great.

What can I say Brett is the appliance wizard! It is like he knows what is wrong before he even arrives to the job. I have used him for several issues — Brett is the man!

We had tried troubleshooting our warm refrigerator but frosty freezer via the Internet for 2 days but still felt like something was wrong (the fridge wasn’t the right temperature still) so we figured it was time to call in the professionals. Reading all the Bothell/​Kirkland/​Woodinville appliance repair reviews on Unilocal left me confused. And most of the top-​rated folks we called couldn’t come until Monday. It was Wednesday and we didn’t want to wait too many days with perishables in the fridge.
My husband saw an Appliance ASAP van in our neighborhood so called them and they were able to come Thursday. Then another neighbor recommended I call Seattle Home Appliance (Bothell store). So I booked a Friday appt. with them and had my husband cancel the Thursday appt. with ASAP. After some confusion on our end, we realized that ASAP was previously Seattle Home Appliance Service and was now contracted to handle Seattle Home Appliance’s service calls. After a few laughs over the phone, we got our Thursday appt. rebooked since it was the same folks after all.
I was rather apprehensive about the service. We had not had good service call experiences in the past (avoid Sears!). I worried we might get shoddy service again or have to pay gobs of money for a fix…
I got a call from Matty saying he was 10 minutes away from coming and then he showed up on time between the window I was quoted. He was super knowledgeable about our refrigerator, listened to our explanations/​attempts to repair it ourselves, figured out what had happened (our freezer door had been left open for an extended time and trying to keep the refrigerator cool had overwhelmed the fridge), and then showed me the clues/​evidence he saw of what was going on and assured me that we had actually done the fix ourselves. We just hadn’t given the fridge enough time to cool back down.
As a bonus, Matty wrote notes down back to my engineer-​type husband (who had written down his own notes for the service guy to read/​review) who was at work so he could know what happened.
I am a little bummed to be out $ 85 for the service call but at the same time grateful for the peace of mind it bought. Matty also assured me that we’d get 30 days warranty on this particular service issue should it not be resolved. But 2 days later, our fridge is completely back to normal AND I feel empowered to look for the same clues and problem solve the next time.
Surprisingly, the skeptic in me also feels much better about service calls going forward. The next time one of our appliances breaks down (hopefully never), at least, we’ll know who to call. Thanks ASAP and Seattle Home Appliance.
