I was referred to Dr. Romero for a root canal by my dentist. The scheduler was friendly, even called me back the following day when something opened up sooner (which was helpful because I was in a lot of pain). She got back to me quickly on my insurance coverage/​out of pocket cost. During the procedure Dr. Romero himself was great. My only complaints would be his support staff seemed a bit cold & could use some work on their people skills, they charge for nitrous by the half hr (which was zero help– I’m almost convinced it was just oxygen), & they clearly want there $.

Staff is not familiar with how to do their job properly. I was told my insurance wasn’t any good since they were not familiar with it. Turns out after speaking with my insurance company that Dr. Romero’s staff gave me incorrect information.
I called back to speak with the staff and was given tons of attitude by the manager and was told I can go to a chain location and get it done cheaper.
Due to their ignorance of the insurance market their industry is involved in I looking for a different doctor. Afterwords I went online and read the healthgrades for this office and low and behold they are below the national average and they received bad scores for Staff friendliness and courteousness.
