History
Established in 1970.
Cedar Park Church was founded in 1970 under the sponsorship of Seattle’s Westminster Assembly and Pastor George Johnson. For six years, the church met at Helen Keller Elementary School, before buying 5 acres and building their first Sanctuary in Juanita. By 1981 the church had grown to about 150 people. Joseph Fuiten was elected Pastor in 1981. Two years later, the church purchased 11 acres on 405 freeway. In 1986, the original facilities were constructed with sanctuary seating for 1200 and school space for 400. These properties have allowed the addition of the portables and a multi-use sports field. The church has also purchased thirteen acres to the north. With the addition of that purchase, the campus now totals 46 acres of prime real estate at the Bothell campus.
