Description

Specialties

Since 1962 when David and Dorothy Morgan started the company, David Morgan has been a family owned and operated retailer presenting traditional, quality items discovered in the pursuit of their own personal interests.

In addition to an extensive bronze and sterling silver jewelry from the Pacific Northwest we design our own line of Celtic jewelry. David Morgan offers Akubra® fur felt and straw hats from Australia — both cowboy and fedora /city styles, Tilley® Hats and Clothing from Canada, Washington made Geier® Gloves, Prison Blues work garments, and much more.

Many David Morgan suppliers are also family run, putting their personal integrity behind their goods.

History

Established in 1962.

David Morgan first sold the Akubra Slouch Hat to Eddie Bauer back when Eddie Bauer ran Eddie Bauer. Our store has in various decades found purchase in various Seattle neighborhoods: Queen Anne, Ballard, and Roosevelt districts, before moving to Bothell. We are retail, mail order and most recently, on the web.

Business Owner

Apart from being a very experienced shop keeper David Morgan achieved world wide fame as a whip maker when his whips were used in the Indiana Jones movies. Through his books, conversations and demonstrations, he has encouraged many a person to learn how to braid, whips, or smaller leather accessories like lanyards, hat bands and belts.
