Specialties
Full Circle Yoga Arts gives both group yoga classes and individual yoga sessions. I enjoy teaching Hatha classes to promote strength and flexibility, as well as Gentle and Adaptive classes to promote health, wellness and healing. I teach yoga as a way to connect mind and body, to facilitate healing for all health conditions, and to reduce the stress and tension of everyday living. My classes are safe and inclusive for all body shapes, sizes, and mobility levels.
I am highly trained in therapeutic yoga so I can adapt the practice for any special need or situation. I am confident and capable when working with people in rehab and injury recovery. Honestly, there is not one health condition or injury that intimidates me.
People find me to be a compassionate and grounded presence, and when practicing with me they feel safe and confident to move their bodies in new ways, and to recover movement that they may have lost due to an injury or trauma.
History
Established in 2007.
I received my training as a yoga teacher and yoga therapist at Samarya Center, where I was credentialed as a yoga therapist, RYT/CYT 500, in 2007. I worked at Samarya Center as a yoga therapist for several years, seeing clients with many different health issues.
I founded and currently direct the Yoga for Students with MS program at Swedish Hospital, and have been managing that program for the last 5 years.
I am spearheading the development of an active and vital adaptive yoga community in the Seattle area. I recently partnered with Harborview Hospital and Beth Reite OT/R to start the Yoga for Students with Spinal Cord Injuries program.
I maintain a teaching practice at Life Solutions Healing Arts Center in Bothell, where I also host my private practice.

Business Owner
People find me to be a compassionate and grounded presence, and when practicing with me they feel safe and confident to move their bodies in new ways, and to recover movement that they may have lost due to an injury or trauma. I am currently studying with Matthew Sanford, pioneer in Adaptive Yoga, so that I can establish a vibrant and fully inclusive Adaptive Yoga community in Seattle. I also practice and teach Mindfulness Meditation, and integrate that into all my classes.
Teaching yoga and meditation allows me to use my strengths in service to the world. I love to encourage people to listen carefully and respectfully to their bodies and their own inner wisdom. I love creating safe and healing communities. I love connecting with people who are interested in growth and healing. I love teaching!
