Randy K. from Intermountain saved me from making a bad buy from some door-​to-​door hustlers who didn’t have my best interest in mind. When I was checking for a second quote at Intermountain, where my Dad bought his windows, Randy calmly and efficiently explained to me what I should expect to pay for the windows I specified. After I shooed the hustlers, Randy came by and with unimpeachable Virginian etiquette explained my quote very simply. When I said I was happy with the price but I’d need a couple months to get the job started or break it into pieces, he responded by offering a gracious, no-​pressure discount. I was grateful and I ordered my windows. Randy and Intermountain are professional and friendly.

Intermountain Glass replaced the entire entryway of my 1958 split-​entry house (door, sidelight, transom, framing). From my first email inquiring about services to the moment when the installers pulled out of the drive, my experience with Intermountain Glass was exceptional.
Our sales rep Randy was knowledgable and personable. He came prepared and answered all my «first timer» questions. He even met me at my work to complete the paperwork, in order to accommodate my schedule.
Mike came out to measure everything and took great care to talk to me about my future flooring project to be sure that the entryway was set high enough to accommodate my new tile.
The installers were amazing. They were super friendly and concerned with making sure we were informed and happy all along the way. When I jokingly asked them to remove our ugly chandelier which was hung too high for my ladder, they DID!
The finished work is beautiful and I could not be happier.
Lucky for me, they were the least expensive of all the bids I received (although I chose them based on their excellent service and understanding of my project.)
Lucky for them, I have a whole house of windows to replace, and when it comes time to do them, I will definitely be hiring them back!

WOW This is from their own website!!! Kerry who works there has a huge «attitude» and takes at least 2 days to answer every email and is always «just getting to it now» telling me how busy they are, hence making you feel bad for being their customer. TERRIBLE customer service… bad attitude. three different times. I would report her to her boss but I don’t know who that is!!! I will be taking my business elsewhere. forgot about 2 of our 5 windows and one critical element of the other three. gee details!!! They are really busy… go elsewhere!!!

Had a window replaced by them, excellent service (although scheduling was a bit complex) and very happy with the quality of work and service provided. Any time again.

I’ve been working with Intermountain Glass for over a year now, and I’ve really been impressed with the way they run things.
I’ve seen them work hard at customer happiness while trying to maintain a sound and stable business financially.
The customers I’ve spoken with have all been very impressed with their level of service and knowledge. I would absolutely recommend Intermountain Glass for any window installation or window replacement.
I know they serve the areas of: Seattle, Bellevue, Bothell, Everett and everywhere in between.

I came to IMG with a broken coffee table glass top held together with packaging tape and my table top measurements. These guys did a great job of recommending that I go to the tempered or stronger glass and were agreeable to thicken the glass at my request due to kids in the house. Also at my request, they wrapped the glass in packing material to protect it for the ride home. Yes, it might be tempered and stronger but in my mind it is still glass so I sure appreciated the extra protection as silly as the request might have been!
I also used them for a job 5 years ago in replacing a 20-​year old master bedroom aluminum double pane sliding window where the vacuum was compromised and was fogging up. Again, I brought the window to them for sizing. The quality and workmanship was great, the window fit and slides perfectly.
I feel they want the customer to be satisfied and strive for a long term relationship even though it maybe years before I go back with a window or glass issue.
Definitely in my contacts list.

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Intermountain Glass. I had all of the windows (23 big ones) and a kitchen door replaced in my home. Every aspect of this project was an unbelievably smooth process and a refreshingly pleasant and professional experience. Jeff did a fantastic job helping me in every aspect of choosing the best possible windows to go with my home, from the style and frame color, the way each window in the home now opens in the same direction – details he noticed with the old/​existing windows that needed to be changed and he made sure were corrected when ordering the new ones, to helping me decide on the hardware finishes. I also really appreciated his patience with my initial indecisiveness and I never felt any pressure to rush into a decision. I was a bit overwhelmed at first because I had never given much thought to windows and never realized how many options are available. Jeff was great helping me narrow it down and pointing me in the right direction so that I felt good about my choices. Mike was awesome and fun to work with when he took measurements for ordering and made some great suggestions for framing the windows. I took Mike’s advice and the end result couldn’t be more perfect for my house and it is absolutely beautiful. I couldn’t be happier with how everything looks. The installation team was also incredible and a cut above. They worked exceptionally quickly and efficiently, even with my distracting puppy who is sweet but also very demanding of attention and lots of it. They started and completed the project on time even after the old windows were removed and they found the siding was water-​logged and needed to be replaced before the new windows could be installed to prevent water stains. Ben and Dwight were able to make new siding on site and replace the old soggy stuff. Curtis and Trace were also very skilled and professional. I am so impressed with how fantastic everything looks and how meticulous everyone was I wish they also did floors, roofing, and everything else I want done to my house! The estimate was dead on and was what I expected to pay for the job. It was definitely worth every penny and I’m very happy with the the cost and the quality of the product and workmanship I received in return. One other thing I’d like to note is that IM Glass came highly recommended to me and independently by both the home inspector that worked with me on the purchase of my home as well as the general contractor that is working with me on several other renovation projects. A big 5 stars from start to finish. Very professional, timely, attentive to detail, well priced, and exceptionally beautiful. Can’t thank this team enough for doing such a spectacular job, for making this such an easy and stress free experience, and for giving me such a beautiful and energy efficient improvement on my new place. We had a great experience with IMG. We had just bought our first house last spring and had to replace two large windows and our sliding glass door right away.
We went with IMG because they gave us was the best price for the quality we wanted and needed. Our sales representative, Randy, did a great job answering all our questions and helping us make a decision on what to install. The installation was on time and quick.
Our windows/​door have been perfect and look really nice, as a bonus. I always recommend IMG when people are looking for glass replacement and we will certainly use them again if we need to replace more glass in our house!

Buying new windows is not something most of us do all the time so I was definitely nervous about finding the right company.
We got bids for a replacement of 7 windows and a sliding door from a couple of companies (Washington Energy Services, Intermountain Glass, and two others I don’t remember) and we decided to go with Intermountain Glass because they were tied for the lowest price and seemed to willing to spend the most time to explain their product. Our main sales contact (Shane) was very responsive over email (which was much more convenient for me than the phone) and answered all of our questions and gave us clear and accurate quotes.
Again, I’ve never had a window installation but the crew seemed professional and did a thorough job cleaning up and minimizing the hassle for us.
After the installation, they have been great at answering further questions and remain responsive even though I’m no longer an ‘active’ customer. I haven’t had any problems with the windows and the condensation issues that I had with the old windows are gone! The little vertical vent things in the windows are also a cool option that we have liked that other companies didn’t offer.
I haven’t bought windows before and I hope I don’t have to replace windows in the near term but if I did, I would definitely go with Intermountain again!

Bottom Line — would I refer Intermountain Glass: yes, without hesitation.
Our HOA authorized our community to replace the single pane aluminum windows with energy efficient models that duplicated the look of the current version. Each person that I dealt with from the sales person, scheduler to the actual installers were very courteous, professional and so efficient.
I love my new windows and door; I am so glad that I elected to go with the upgrades to include the vent and trim. I have not regretted the decision at any time.

Approximately 18 months ago, IMG replaced the nearly-​20-​year-​old windows/​sliding glass door in my condo. Throughout the process, from bidding, measurement, and on to scheduling and installation, I was extremely impressed. All the IMG employees I dealt with — Shane, the sales rep; Allison in the scheduling and billing office; the installation team; and IMG president, Don Clayton — were polite, friendly, helpful, and interested in making this a great experience for me, the customer. I always felt like I was in control.
While the product was not inexpensive, the end product was worth EVERY CENT. The workmen were very careful about keeping my condo and the surrounding common areas tidy and safe while they performed the installation. And once they were gone, there was no trace that they’d been there, aside from my gorgeous new windows and casings.
In addition to the beautiful product and attentive customer service, Intermountain Glass recently went above and beyond. I was involved in a dispute with my HOA when records of my window upgrades proved to be incomplete. IMG president Don Clayton and salesman Shane Drollinger stepped in to support me, delivering proper documentation and talking directly to our property manager on my behalf. Talk about customer support!
Honestly, I could not recommend Intermountain Glass more highly.

Had I known about TAP Plastics prior to contacting Intermountain Glass, I most certainly would have contacted them, avoiding calling a «glass» company altogether. I think that is pretty obvious, actually.
Had Intermountain Glass referred me to TAP Plastics to start with (or any other company specializing in acrylics, for that matter), I would have avoided this whole mess. Instead, I was delayed a whole day in my project, spent several hours driving back and forth, and wasted energy on frustration.
One more thing of note. After receiving this message from Don, I revisited the Unilocal review page to find a majority of the other reviewers/​customers to share similar experiences as myself. In one of those reviews/​experiences, recounted by Bob M., Don publicly replies as follows:

If you had such a bad experience you could have contacted me directly rather that this scathing review, I am always available to discuss complaints like this and bring those who preformed in this manner to Justice. I found this comment noteworthy to repeat, because when I had my poor experience with Intermountain Glass, the first thing that I did was to ask to speak with the owner/​manager. My first request was via the phone where I was told he was «unavailable» (after a long wait; see my review) and my second request was in person, where I could HEAR HIM tell his secretary in the other room, a few feet away, that he «didn’t want to talk with me!»
So, I find none of these other reviews «hard to believe» at all! In fact, after reading this reply by Don, along with the private message that I received from him, posted above, I find the accuracy of my «one-​star» review to be enforced tremendously! Reading Don’s one to two year delayed replies on this site indicates to me that such «one-​star» service is, indeed, «business as usual» at Intermountain Glass, giving yet further reason to avoid the place altogether!

Let me preface this by saying that I did not use this company to install windows. It didn’t get that far. I walked in one day to get an estimate. Yes, I actually went there in person which may explain the odd reaction I recieved from the miserable woman at the reception counter. The second I walked in the door she glared at me with a look that said ‘what the fuck are you doing here?’ So I smiled to show her that I was harmless. That didn’t work as her attitude continued to suck. I said that I needed an estimate and she asked another woman at the end of the counter to assist me. Well the other woman was obviously inconvenienced by the first woman asking her this so I said to the second woman: Is now a good time? She said it was. I was really turned off and pissed off by this bullshit treatment and I knew that unless they could give me a really sweet quote that I would never use them. I mean do you want business? I guess not. Oh, the quote was higher than others I had gotten so there ya have it.

Yesterday, the team at Intermountain Glass absolutely made my day! What started out as an emergency, ended with a solution and quick fix. I contacted their office yesterday morning to make an appointment as our skylight was leaking. Allison called and scheduled me to early afternoon. Ben (their technician) called and scheduled to meet me at my home at 1:30. He was prompt, professional, courteous and most importantly, knowledgeable. He came in, we looked at the three other windows in question and then he prepared me for what could be the problem with the skylight. After he went up on the roof and was making some noise, I started to think the worst and that the whole thing must be rotted out. However, he returned and said that he found out the problem. The skylight had been installed incorrectly! He was able to fix it, give me some instructions to caulk it, and voila, my worry was abated! He then walked around to make sure all of the other windows were in good working order (and did not try to sell me something I didn’t need!), and gave me an estimate of when we might expect them to be in. All of this took place within an hour.
Ben is a star! IM has a great team effort and what I found to be fantastic customer service. Their prices for their windows are competitive and reasonsable, too. I would definitely recommend you to family, friends and neighbors!

We had a large job to do. We did our research and got bids. We chose IMG.
What a mistake.
It was a battle from the beginning. The professionalism of their crews was immediately suspect. Poor cleanup start-​to-​finish; shooting nail guns at each other; using customer bathrooms when a porta-​potty was available… it was ridiculous.
Working with management was equally disappointing. Smiling, nodding in consent on one hand… back stabbing on the other. No cooperation.
The products from Simonton were good (and available at most window dealers), but the installation and customer service were a huge let-​down.

Recently we were in the market for new windows. I called these guys and they never bothered to call me back. Same thing happened a couple of years ago when I was inquiring about something else. Well it was their loss in the end. $ 8,000 of our money went to another company. Customer service means everything!
