JLB Web Consulting is a boutique development house owned and operated by a husband/​wife team, We specialize in Drupal and Wordpress sites, Drupal themes, e-​commerce, custom applications and solutions, complex problem solving, AWS and responsive design.

With our experience spanning systems administration, design and both front-​end and back-​end development, we can provide an end to end solution from server architecture to front end design and custom web application. Our goal is to create a useful, easy to use, customized tool to help you achieve your goals.

History

Established in 2005.

Our business began in 2005 as a part time business to handle small consulting jobs that I was receiving. Each year it grew a little more. In 2009, my husband, Liem came on board to do part time development in addition to his full time work to help offset the workload. We were able to take the leap to a full time business in 2011. Virtually all of our growth has been from word of mouth, which we consider a very high compliment! We continue to grow each year and have a passion for what we do, which is why we do it so well.

Business Owner

Jenn and Liem have been married for 16 years, and spend an uncanny amount of their time together. They play together, workout together and have both worked at home together for the last 6 years, albeit for other people.

It eventually became clear that each of their skill sets complemented the other and so they launched JLB Web Consulting into a full time development company and began the adventure of entrepreneurship as a career rather than as a hobby.

Liem enjoys photography, hiking, camping, aviation and anything geeky in his spare time, often starting little web projects here and there for fun. He’s been described as an «armchair aero-​geek» and you’ll often find his weather photos on Komo’s website.

Jenn enjoys spending time socializing with friends, organizing anything, researching, traveling, shopping and other girly things despite being a geek at heart. She spends a lot of free time planning trips or weekend outtings and finding things on Pinterest for Liem to build for her.
