Jump Planet

So sad this place is closing at the end of the month! My kiddos had so much fun here.
We went for our last jump today. I had pre-​purchased passes at a discount through Amazon Local, but they said they were so bad off financially that they could no longer afford to honor them. :(Amazon refunded my money, so I have no issue there, but it’s just sad to see a place that was always busy not be able to afford to stay open.
We’re going to miss this place especially on rainy days!

Few things first —
This place is not always open, they only have certain hours you can bring your kids on Tues & Thurs. Check their website for these times.
No air conditioning, so bring lots of water for your kids, all the jumping around makes them very sweaty & hot. I think I saw a soda machine, but I cannot be sure.
Children must wear socks, so… no thongs, or sandals.
They have areas for children of all ages!
When I went, their credit card machine was down, so bring cash. The price is $ 6 per child.
With that said, my kids had a blast! They have about 10 LARGE bouncy houses (yes YOU can even jump around, and go down the slides with them), and smaller bouncy houses for younger children. The price was fair, and children can easily utilize extra energy.
I would take my children back, the place seemed a little «dirty» to me, but overall it was a great experience.

Jump Planet is THE BEST place to take your kids for a fun jumpy time. If you’ve been to other places Jump Planet exceeds them by far. The houses are safe, sturdy and huge but not to scary. They make sure the children get a spritz of hand sanitizer before entering. They have places to put your stuff. They have a worker that monitors everything, they’re very nice and informative and do a great job of answering any questions. It’s cheap and they offer a punch card which eventually gives you a free jump. Parents are welcome to go in with the children which makes for a great family event. They offer jump times for age groups which is great, other locations allow kids up to the age of 10 which is down right dangerous.
We try to make it out once a week for a family fun day, we LOVE Jump Planet!

OK — what really ticket me off is the «tip» at the end. I have NEVER been asked to tip at the end of a party before; isn’t the cost of the staff built into the large price I just paid? This isn’t a cruise ship, and if you’re gonna put people on the spot like that, then put some mention of it on your web site, or at the beginning of the party. Also, this is the only inflatable place I’ve been to where there is no staff to supervise the kids on the inflatables, no safety video before hand either. So I’m supposed to tip $ 60 for some guy slicing the cake and carrying some stuff up the stairs? REALLY?
That just ain’t gonna happen. I feel sorry for other parents who doubtless feel cowed into coughing up 15%.
On a less emotional level, the jump area was pretty dark with only about ²⁄₃ of the lights on/​working. There was no signage for our kid’s party, so we had other kids cruising into our area. It’s easy to mix up presents since there’s 1 room for 2 parties. Better hope your guests know to use the correct table. Bounce houses were in good condition, and the kids had a good time.

I took my 8 year old nephew here for a bday party. Let’s just say I was kinda jealous considering we didn’t have this type of extensive luxury growing up in the 90s… Seriously this place is a kid’s dream come true! And for about 7 bucks a head for 1.5 hours of play time there isn’t really a much better deal you can ask for! It’s essentially about 8 – 10 different large bouncy houses that have pretty large slides and one even has a basketball hoop. I was tempted to join in on the fun and when nobody paid attention I snuck into one of the bouncy houses and played basketball with my nephew hahahaha XD

I’ll write this review as the tale of two parties since we have now hosted two parties here.
In December 2011 we had our son’s birthday here. The place was clean, the staff came out and unloaded our car and set everything up. While we were there, a kid from another party came down with a stomach bug and the staff did a great job cleaning up all the vomit and sanitizing everything. After the party they loaded our car back up, and cleaned up the party room. The staff were all friendly and attentive. Upon checking out the staff person at the desk said a tip was optional and whatever I felt was fair. I think I tipped about $ 15 – 20 which seemed reasonable for the amount of time and service we received.
We decided to host our son’s birthday there again this year after having such a good experience last year. While the staff were all very friendly, they didn’t seem to really know what they were doing — definitely not the same level of coordination as last year. I had to unload the car myself in the pouring rain, and by the time someone who worked there offered to help I was done. During the party the kids all seemed scared to go into one of the inflatables. I climbed in and noticed that air was wooshing out at what seemed like a rapid rate from a tear in the seam. I went and alerted the staff that the one bouncy seemed to be damaged. Someone came to check on it and said that yes there was a hole, but it wasn’t compromising the safety of the inflatable and that it was safe and functional. I noticed that the bouncy structures seemed a lot more worn out than last year, and the carpet throughout the whole place was really dirty and stained.
Our party room attendant was hardly around and while he did offer help in serving food, it wasn’t necessary as the parents there were capable of serving their own children. Afterwards I packed up all the stuff, and carried it out to the car myself, although I received minimal help at the end. As I was checking out, the gal at the front desk tells me that a 15% tip of the total party bill is standard and she whips out a calculator and holds it up for me to see that the tip should be $ 46. I was put on the spot and had two toddlers on the verge of melting down at my feet so I quickly paid the bill and the tip. On the way home I began feeling angry that I was expected to pay such a huge tip — definitely did not feel it was deserved for the level of service we received. Also, I realize now that she calculated the tip based on the total cost of the party including tax (yup, they add sales tax to a $ 270 birthday party package).
Based on my second party experience here, I don’t think I would host another party here.

Love Jump Planet. Have taken kids I nanny here several times. The staff are polite, engaging, and great with the kids, and cheerful. Everything is clean, well maintained, and there are plenty of toys to play on. It’s always been a great experience.

This is a great place for kids. There are plenty of inflatable obstacles so we didn’t find it too crowded. We’ve been to other jump/​trampoline places in the area and the rules have been too rigid. We were constantly told what not to do. At Jump Planet the surroundings are really safe and the staff is really nice. The place is sanitized after each session so that was great too.

Excellent place to tire the kids out for the evening.7 $ a kid and they have Amazon Local deals frequently or a «buy X get one free» punch card for regulars (X=10 I think.).We go at least twice a month. They have late evening sessions on Monday and Tuesday. The third Tuesday of every month is Special Needs Night so bring your special needs kid if you have one. Free coffee and tea for the adults. Great staff. Good for birthday parties (attended one here, did not buy one) too.

A great place to reduce your kid’s energy level at home so you can get more quiet time or it could back fire and make your kid so tired crankiness ensues. Jump Planet has more bounce house variety than the regular place we visit in Kirkland however, the sizes are more compact creating blind spots on some complex bounce houses. My kid ran into another running kid around a corner, chaos in next 1 minute. Took a deep breath, solved the crisis, apologies all around back to jumping up and down. I didn’t see one sad face jumping up and down. Maybe it’s hard to see a moving object clearly or maybe the frown does get turned upside down when you’re jumping around in a bounce house.
Go to their website to get their open house schedule, most days are booked for parties so only certain days are open for walk ins. Be sure to ask for their punch card since they won’t readily give it to you without you asking first. All in all a great place to entertain the kid and save me from doing cardio in the gym for the day.

Love this place. Staff is always professional and attentive. I especially appreciate that they have designated playtimes for the under 6 crowd. They have hand sanitizer at the front desk and the door to the play area.
My youngest is just beginning to walk so I’ve had him in a stroller while my daughter jumps and jumps. This logistical convenience has made it possible for me to take both kids by myself and have a great time.

We were glad to choose Jump Planet to celebrate my daughter’s birthday recently. The facility was spacious and clean. There were many bouncy toys and slides to burn out energy and have some great fun. The kids loved it and had a great time. I ordered pizza through their recommended vendor. The pizza was delivered on time. The party room was upstairs and had natural light through big windows. They offered sanitizer before kids went upstairs.
For the party, they offered plates, cups, tissue paper, table clothes, utensil and etc. You can order balloons, goody bags and extra packages from them. We brought our own food, water and cake. They were really flexible and easy to talk to.
Note: If you don’t order hot food through them but bring your own hot items, you may need to pay $ 25.
Overall, we had a great birthday party.

My little one and her friends LOVE coming here plus it’s way cleaner & nicer than Pump It Up in Kirkland.

My first job when I moved to Seattle was in this office park — so I sometimes have weird flashbacks as I maneuver my way through the winding streets of this bleak looking sea of office buildings. But once I calm down & remember that I am here for kiddo & not to relive those (not so) glory days, it’s all good.
Jump Planet is a reliable place with lots of sessions throughout the week, weekends & holidays.
I am always surprised that they let adults carry around coffee inside as it does get quite crowded & you are usually trying to keep your eye on your kiddos as they scurry from one huge inflatable to the next (meaning it is easy to bump into other adults and/​or kids doing the same).
There are also some pretty family-​friendly dining options in the area, so if you need a meal before or after, it’s an easy stop.

This place is so fun, and though I haven’t been to the others like it, I think I’ll just stick with this one, even though it’s not too close to my N. Seattle home. It’s just so much fun, and I can’t believe it’s free for me to go and jump with my toddler — I know I have way more fun than he does, and he loves it.

Great place for kids & close to home, too! My 3 year old daughter didn’t like the loud air compressors, but, once used to it, she went down the slide again & again & again! I’ll definitely be taking her here again for years to come.
***Update 5/​30/​11*** We’ve now gone here for the second time & this time they had a few more bouncy’s that they didn’t have here the last time. This is now the most favorite of all the bouncy places for us. MUCH more inflatable things than other places we’ve been to. My daughter had a hard time getting up onto the bigger slide that doesn’t have a ramp the last time, so I had to lift her again & again (to my sore back’s displeasure), but, this time, my Hubby came with us & (ingenious that he is) he put one of the small square upolstered ottoman thingy’s at the place you have to climb up onto it, & ALL the kids could get up by themselves! BRILLIANT! They really should have little ramps or ladders onto all the activities. Kids like to be able to do it all by themselves. This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Awesome place! We went here for our goddaughter’s 3^rd Birthday Party! Wow, I know the kiddos will be sleeping well tonight, but these two Godparents are going to sleep like babies! I am sore and was sweaty by the time our session ended. Who needs a gym, when you’re chasing around 3 – 4 year olds? All the kiddos had fun, and were starving by feeding time. Everyone was a bit worn out, but it was in a good way! The staff are friendly and attentive. My friend brought her own cake and pizza, so we don’t know how good the food is. The only downside is that the party rooms are upstairs, so if you have a stroller… it could be challenge. But thanks to having some strong men around, it was easy! I can forsee the Mr and I having parties here for our future children. But this review goes to my Goddaughter’s party and she was all smiles, and giggles all the way to the end, so that makes this godmother happy!!!

My real rating is 7 stars, (the 2 extra stars are invisible, like the silent «H» in herbs) for having multiple sessions on Thanksgiving day. We spent 2 ½ hours here today, at $ 6/​session, and it was worth way way more than that. Being able to take your 4-​year old somewhere indoors on a cold or rainy holiday so everyone at home can get cleaned up and dinner made is basically priceless.
We’ve been to this bounce-​house place a whole bunch of times and it’s always been a good experience. It’s clean, lots of inflatables for your kid’s jumping pleasure and easy to get around so you know where your kid is. I think most of the inflatables a kid as young as 3 could navigate on their own. Younger than that you’ll be climbing your way up a plastic ladder or sticking to the one inflatable specifically for the wee ones (under 3). I haven’t been here during the times the older (6+) kids get here, so I don’t know how crazy it gets, but despite the lack of coordination + unstable surfaces, there have been remarkably few collisions that I’ve witnessed.
In the past couple of years we’ve been going I’m definitely noticing the inflatables are starting to wear, but are all in working order and I was told they’re replacing about ½ the equipment in the next month or so (winter 2010) with some new, exciting stuff.
There’s one other inflatable place nearby, and having been to both, I think this one is definitely better (more variety), esp. if you’re kid is younger.

This is an awesome place for kids and grown-​ups alike… my son always asks when he is going to go to the jumpy place. For my son one hour isn’t enough. I would like to see more hours for open jump esp for us working momma’s!
We dig it… close to home and always a good time!

I Kept waiting for House Of Pain to come over the speakers… jump around. jump around… but it did not, but the toddlers did not care.
Jump Planet is a big warehouse in the middle of canyon park. Inside all kinds of inflatable jump toys for your youngsters and you to enjoy. This is the perfect place for parties. or a great spot to spend an hour, and wear out your little one.
My son and I have come many times. only one accident so far… me trying to jump around… and spitting my pants…
