I just recently found this place. It’s amazing. Yes! It was the signs on the road that got me to call them… Someone has a bright and funny mind!
Plus their reviews on here are really good.
I see Dr. Ball. But I hear Dr. Barrett is also amazing. I see Dr. Ball because he manually adjust you. My body doesn’t react very well to the clicky thing. Or, I haven’t in the past.
The front desk lady: and I’m sorry I haven’t remembered her name, but she remembers mine. Even the second time I came in, I was said hi to by name. Awesome customer service is really important!
My lower back has 3 disc that’s made moving almost impossible. I’ve been told those disc won’t move or adjust. But… Dr. Ball is getting my lower back to actually move. The table that he uses is amazing! Then he follows that with an adjustment. He typically can get a pretty good adjustment.
If you have a lower back disk issue: go see him!!! You won’t regret it

Martha Lake Chiropractic is fantastic! Dr. Ball is absolutely amazing and extremely encouraging. He has resolved so many of my issues (which, believe me there have been many!). The staff is great and very courteous. They are flexible with their payments and they also take care credit which is helpful for those whose insurance doesn’t cover the adjustments.

I have seen tons of different Chiropractors in my life, Dr. Barrett has been the best. His treatment is so detailed to your concern. The instrument that he uses and the time he spends with you really shows how custom each adjustments are. Instead of multiply trips in a week, like other chiropractors, he gets right to the point and resolves my issues in one visit. I usually only need to return about every 6 weeks, more or less for a tune up, if I am having trouble sleeping, or I tweaked myself work related (mostly due to incorrect posture)
The very first visit that I had with Dr Barrett, I was going through depression to the point where my whole body ache and I couldn’t sleep at night. On top of that I was experiencing major migraines. One visit and I was 80% better which gave me enough energy to work on the rest of the 20% on my own. When I got off the table that first time, I literally felt a tingling sensation from my neck going down my spine, feeling like all the tension was being released. Angels sang.

I had experienced back pain for three years and tried physical therapy, massage therapy, and a different chiropractor. After one session with Dr. Barrett my back felt better than it had in years. I was on cloud nine. He is extremely knowledgable and can tell exactly where in the body something – anything – is off. I have NEVER been so impressed by any doctor.

I have been seeing Dr. Barrett for 6 years. I will not see another chiropractor until he retires. That will be a very sad day. I drive an hour out of my way to see him.
The man knows what he is doing. He genuinely cares about his patients. He listens to what you have to say and checks in while he’s doing the adjustment and again at the end to see if there’s anything that you or he has missed.
Dr. Barrett uses a chiropractic method where he pinpoints the exact location that you have a place out then pummels it back where it belongs using low force instrument adjustments. I have been to multiple chiropractors in my life, and only Dr. Barrett adjusts me perfectly. And when I say perfectly, I mean it. I get off of his table with zero pressure or pain points, even at the times in my life after a car accident or jumping off a train where I could barely walk.
Dr. Barrett won’t pressure you into a schedule like many chiropractors will try to do, nor will he attempt to sell you on any gimmicks. If you inquire regarding any additional services or advice, he’s happy to give it.
His office offers a cash plan for those who don’t have insurance.
I have a very hectic work schedule and the office hours go till 6 pm, so it’s great that I’m able to come in after work when needed. He is also there every other Saturday.

It has been a while since I have been to Martha Lake Chiropractic Center. But I do agree with some of the comments I have read. Dr. Barrett is very careful, listens very well, and very flexible with time. I do see value in his style for some people as it does not involve bone cracking and applying pressure to areas for alignment.
I was impressed how he can figure out which section in the neck and back is out of alignment by his technique. He explains things very well and I was happy to have gone there.

I feel great! Low pressure care, I only visit when my back goes out. They don’t put me on a ‘schedule’.

I Totally agree Lilly! I first became a new patient (when I was shopping around) because of the great signs, and because I needed great local chiropractic care. We love to see the funny signs and as a marketing person, I appreciate the creativity!

Our family loves Dr. Barrett and the great front office team. I’d highly recommend for anyone who needs a caring touch. We love the Activator Adjustment method that is used here. Advertise that :-) !

Do you want to heal or get body slammed? I tired of chiropractors whose only techniques consisted of body slamming and hard adjustments to get me in alignment.
Dr. Barrett only uses an activator for his adjustments. He is meticulous about measuring what’s in and out of alignment and very patient with the process. He’s open to my feedback. If I tell him that my lower back doesn’t feel right after he’s adjusted me, he’ll re-​check. No big ego here-​just a kind and caring health practitioner.

My family has been going to Dr. Barrett for two years, and have received excellent care and service each and every visit. Dr. Barrett is thorough, caring, and funny, and he is great with our 4 year old. The office staff is friendly and accommodating, and always willing to work you in for a same day appointment.
