Didn’t hire them. Called them for a bid, but they called me within a day to tell me they will not be available. Giving them good reviews because they were responsive and responsible enough to call me back (unlike other companies). Thanks.

Mark and his crew have been taking care of my rental property and my own house for the last couple of years. They have always done a great job, whether it’s the annual cleanup in spring or the bi-​weekly mowing, the crew is skilled and accountable. I appreciate that they’re kind to the tenants and easy to work with. I highly recommend NW Lawn & Garden and have referred them to many friends. Thanks Mark for all your help! Great job.

We have a reasonable-​sized property (¼ acre) that had been slowly reconquered by Mother Nature over the past several years. Last summer, we gave a go at getting it all cleaned up. Unfortunately, without a truck or a truck-​sized yard waste bin, I realized I was fighting a losing battle and would need both labor and waste removal to get the yard back into shape.
This spring, we pulled the trigger on having somebody come out to clean up the yard and take care of maintenance. I did my due diligence and called several yard maintenance companies. Some didn’t show. Some showed but never provided a bid. Glen from Northwest Lawn & Garden swung by my house while I was at work and was the first to come back with a competitive bid. I met face-​to-​face with several other firms where I was able to clearly describe and understand the scope of work required. Wanting that same level of detail from Northwest Lawn & Garden (questions that I hadn’t thought to ask in the initial call, for example), I called Glen back to discuss the bid and clarify what would be covered by the job. Well, both he AND Mark had time and came out to my house within the hour. We toured the property and clarified the amount of work to be covered under the bid. After reviewing our options, my wife and I went with Northwest Lawn & Garden. I called them back on the Saturday immediately after our Friday meeting and we scheduled the first clean-​up for the following Tuesday.
Now, I cannot overstate this — my property was in sorry shape. When I came back from work Tuesday evening, I was stunned. I couldn’t believe how much space I had gained by the Northwest Lawn & Garden’s clean-​up. Everything had been hauled away that did not fit in my yard waste bin — this last bit I hadn’t even thought to discuss but it was a noted consideration. I am looking forward to seeing the maintenance plan in action.
I feel that Glen’s and Matt’s competitive bid, effort to come out to my property a second time to clarify the work covered under the bid, and the quality of the work done by the Northwest Lawn & Garden crew made the decision easy and well worth the investment. I would highly recommend Northwest Lawn & Garden to anybody looking for a good spring clean-​up.

I started out with a giant pile of unlevel, rocky, weedy dirt and weeds and stumps. Now I have the nicest yard on the block. Mark and his team helped me establish my vision, and helped me think of ways to beautify my yard that I would have never come up with on my own. They worked hard to understand the specifics about what I wanted and would keep at it until it was executed to perfection. They are some of the most hardworking people I have ever met. Always positive, helpful, and never idle. You can tell NWLG is a company built out of years of experience and a genuine love for what they do. I’m so glad I hired them to build my dream yard!

I have really enjoyed working with Northwest Lawn and Garden. We recently switched to being a bi-​weekly customer and I am very satisfied with their work and how my yard is looking! They came and did a big clean up for me in January and I had some concerns but they came back and addressed all the concerns. They are the best service I have used.
I do this they could be better at communication (sometimes). Sometimes they are quick and sometimes slow but I understand that being a business owner myself. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to decrease their work month to month so you can actually enjoy your property on the weekend instead of always working on it!

mark and the team are great and i would definitely recommend them to others. they do very good work, reasonably priced, and are quite knowledgeable. they’ve been working on our house for a year and so far i’m quite happy.
i can’t quite give a perfect rating although at the same time, i feel sad that a 4 star rating brings down their average. sometimes they are great at communication and very fast in response, and sometimes they can take a while or miss the communication. that aside, their actual work on the yard is great.

During the last several years I have had five or six lawn maintenance/​landscapers work in our yard and I have let them all go. NWLG has proven to be everything they were not… NWLG’s crew is dependable, hard working and responsive to our requests. You will like these guys… Hire them.

I have used Northwest Lawn and Garden for about 3 months now and couldn’t be happier! They are prompt, very professional and do a great job! I highly recommend them!

They took 4 days to respond to my request for a bid, only to let me know that they aren’t taking on new projects at this time. So, they get one star as they aren’t an option for anyone looking for new projects at this time.

These guys are great. I called over ten places to get estimates on leveling out my yard, planting sod and bushes, and cleaning up the existing grass. Mark called back right away and came out on a weekend to do a bid. It was BY FAR the most reasonable bid of the ones I managed to get and they did a great job. Mark is excellent at communicating over the phone and email and was really flexible when I wanted to add some tree planting, looking around to find a great deal on a big, clearance-​priced tree. I will definitely use NWLG again.

Northwest Lawn & Graden are very professional and get the job done! Look forward to waht they are going to do to our backyard next year!!!

Just had a wonderful experience with NWLG last week. Mark and his crew came out to install some lighting on a dark pathway leading to our front door. The quality of work is top notch! On top of that, they had some spare time, so without asking, they spruced up the surrounding flower beds and patio area too!
Now with the lighting installed, we are going to be replacing the oddly-​configured stone pathway. The NWLG team has already given us a bunch of ideas and we are thrilled to have them do it.

I had NWL&G out to clean up my flower beds and put down bark. Wow! These guys are quick, clean and decently priced! I have already hired them to do more work on my huge corner lot!

Extremely pleased with NWLG. They turned my jungle of a yard into something that made even my green-​thumbed neighbors jealous… didn’t think it could be done! I now have a beautiful mix of trees and flowers in the back, a thriving herb and mint garden, and succulents on the roof. Highly recommend this hardworking team — their attention to detail and care for their craft are unmatched and all too rare these days.
