I was educated at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA and I have studied under some of the guitar greats such as Joe Pass, Pat Metheny, Johnny Smith and Ted Greene. I’ve been teaching guitar in Seattle since 1994 and have had a studio at Mills Music for 18 years…

Seattle guitarist Ron Peters has appeared with The Manhattan Transfer, Chevy Chase, Bill Coon, Lance Buller, Jennifer Scott, Pearl Django, Susan Pascal, Brian Butler, Stephanie Porter and many others. He has been a featured soloist with the Northwest Sinfonietta and can be heard on many recordings and jingles. Ron is a founding member of «Trio Incognito» with Cary Black and Paul Elliott and also plays in the Seattle group «Touché»…

I’ve seen him teach and perform guitar for many years in Puget Sound metropolitan area. He is very experienced amazing jazz musician !!! As for teaching, he can teach all sorts of genre; jazz, classical, pop, rock, classic rock, folk, blues, Brazilian & much more. Very fun !!! His knowledge & experience in music so deep. Therefore someone is looking for music theory (specially jazz) he would the best teacher to talk to in entire Puget Sound area. I highly recommend him.
