Safeway

If I could give 6 stars, this has got to be the best one.
It’s all big here: Starbucks seating, real long benches.
And even bigger café seating area.
Also, big men’s washroom, own stall for #2, plus urinal. Paper toilet seats a nice touch as well.
Furthermore, a big selection of Seahawks that would make some kiosks proud.
Not to mention a big store with ATM, 2 gift card racks & movie DVD rack.
Lastly, look at the size of these blueberries!

I love coming to this Safeway even though it’s a bit out of the way because all the cashiers and produce employees always say hello to me and ask me how I’ve been doing. I usually go there after working out at the local gym and two cashiers in particular always ask how my workout went and even when I haven’t gone to the gym they always ask about it. They make it a personal place to shop at and make it really comfortable. Keep doing what y’all are doing because I really appreciate the warm greetings and friendly service.
Only one sorta complaint is has the deli price increased on almost everything? I use to be a avid breakfast burrito purchaser but they raise the price by 50% and took away the buyers reward for this :(

This is my go to grocery store. Within a 5 mile radius of my home, there are so many different options to choose from for groceries including another Safeway. I’ve been to pretty much all the other places, but I would say this location is the newest and cleanest.
The thing that I like the most is the staff here. They are super ready to help and seem to always be right there when I’m scratching my head looking for something. They aren’t annoying about it though. I actually really enjoyed all of my interactions with their staff. Particularly, a super friendly lady in the bakery named Kheim, and we had a fun conversation while picking out a cake. She made everything sound so good that I ended up leaving with two.
I’d say if you’re looking for a good solid place for groceries then definitely give this place a try. Low traffic area and a plaza full of other good places to eat and get other errands done.

This is a pretty nice store, but check-​out takes awhile, that’s why only 4 stars.
I don’t like using self check because it’s replacing a person who needs to feed their family, might as well just outsource the whole procedure to «illegals» !
And if hiring another person cost so much then maybe instead have all the «good people» stop shoplifting to defray the cost.

I enjoy shopping at the «new» Safeway. The store is clean, well lit with a great selection of food. Prices are good with the rewards card and I enjoy perusing the isles looking for something new and delicious to pick up.

Grocery is clean & well stocked. Some of the staff from the old downtown Bothell store remain, and greet you like old friends. This store would have gotten more stars, except for the atrocious Chinese food. Worst Chow Mein ever! Avoid that and you will be OK.

Nice grocery store. I like that the parking lot is easy to maneuver and enter/​exit.
Great selection of products, clearly labeled aisles, organization of products made sense. Employees seemed friendly (I didn’t have to ask for help though, really only interacted with the cashier).
Only minus is that I don’t like the stacked (unpacked?) cardboard boxes on the top shelves in some of the aisles (there was at least one aisle that had this). Just looks sloppy to me.
I’ll come back here rather than the QFC down the road though even though it’s a little further, much nicer store.

The Safeway on Bothell-​Everett is the flagship of a newer sshopping development. The store is new as well and very clean. They usually have wine tastings which is an awesome way to start your shopping trip :-)

My fav grocery store in the area. Also nice, clean and easy to get into. Great selection in expected places so I don’t have to be in a maze. Prices are great I think. I still do some shopping at Target or Central Market but this is my main place. Starbucks right in side so I can grab a drink while I shop. Everyone is super nice there as well and the gas is usually really cheap.
I also love that they carry Bottled Real Sugar Coke and Dr Pepper. It just taste better and is better for you than diet or high-​fructose. I hope they will continue this and even offer more Real Sugar options for all drinks.

I came here in search of flowers for my wedding, within my low budget. Santhi in floral not only did an amazing job on the flowers and made everything perfectly beautiful, but her customer service was awesome! Bottom line, she came in way under budget and all was wonderful. I recommend her highly for any event flowers you need. Who’d have thought Safeway would be a great wedding florist? Not me, but I’d be wrong!!!

If you want fast service, see Christopher. He is one of the managers there and he is super-​fast and efficient.
Safeway is one of the best shopping grocery stores within the PNW region. The only thing I don’t like is how they have one checker after 8pm during the week. The line gets pretty long even with 10 – 15 customers.
There are always great deals here and there isn’t a lot of shoplifting going on. Mainly, because this area is higher-​income and there aren’t a whole lot of black people or white trash kids running around. I usually carrying my handgun after 9pm in this store while shopping because I have seem some drug addicts hanging around outside looking for a handout. It’s not frequent, so that’s good. I think the Dollar Store nearby brings in the riff-​raff.

This is where I do my grocery shopping, the store is still new, it is very clean inside and outside. The dounuts are really good here since they make it in there. I usually by my tilimock yogurt here and my fresh bananas here.

Visiting the area I was shopping for a family get together. My husband had dropped me off to do some errands while I shopped and I was to call him when done. I got into the check line to find out I did not have my phone. I mentioned this to the checker Perry and he offered me his phone to use to call my husband who of course didn’t answer! I finished my checkout and waited outside for quite awhile before the hubby realized I had called and left a message. He had called the number back and spoke with Perry. He finally decided to pick me up! I have never had a checker in a grocery store treat me as respectfully and kindly and generous as Perry did. He is a fine young man and Safeway is darn lucky to have him as are the patrons. Thank you again Perry!

So my friends and i stopedp here to get lunch while on break. I was really disstisfied by there chinese food it was really dry and the lady helping us dropped my friends chicken on the divider and still served it to my friend. Not impressed wont be shopping this safeway again…

I go out of my way (I live closer to Kirkland/​Juanita) to shop here and get gas.
The guys in the meat department are always helpful. In fact, I have always received courteous greetings from all staff here.

I like the large parking lot — it’s easy to get into and out of without hassle, unlike Fred Meyer stores in the area. A nice deli and bakery selection. I also like the snack sized cookies, 2 for $ 1, when you don’t want to buy a gigantic box of cookies, its a nice alternative. A clean store with friendly employees and a nice modern location. I’ve been shopping here more and more and notice some of the prices are more competitive than Fred Meyer.

Miss the old place. There’s some odd new attitude in this store location that was not there in the old downtown store. They’re often plain rude, which is shocking at a grocery store.
On the upside, the shelves are well stocked and the structure is sound and functional.

Brand new store (opened in November 2011). Excellent service, staff in the meat department is friendly and helpful. Store is well laid out. Their frozen food section is a little skimpy it seems compared to other stores, but it’s still got most everything you need.
Credit Union and Starbucks in store.
This location is a replacement for the (probably) 1950’s era Safeway (that looked like a bowling alley conversion) in downtown Bothell.
Typical deli for a Safeway — lots of their store brand soups (most of which are quite good) and their China Express food (although they’ve changed the teriyaki chicken — it’s not nearly as good as it used to be).

Safeway in Bothell gets a new location and a mega-​upgrade into this century.
The circa 1940’s Safeway of downtown is soon to be only a memory. The only downside to that, is anyone who needed that store for it’s location is SOL for grocery needs. (Alternatives aren’t *that* far away, but the clientele here seemed to be heavily elderly and low-​income and pedestrians who lived in the immediate area)
*side note: someone wrote «RIP ghetto Safeway» on the old building. An appropriate sentiment. It offered little, but it will be sad to see it go.
This location seems odd. It’s in between Canyon Park and downtown Bothell, near Country Village. They have dealt with entrance/​approaching traffic issues much better than you generally see when a new store pops up somewhere, which is refreshing.
Gas station, fully-​equipped upgraded store, in-​house credit union and the parking lot and attached strip-​mall is beginning to attract new businesses and fill up to provide a myriad of options here.
Either I missed any spectacular grand opening sales, or they just didn’t do any.
Since I «gave up custody» of my local to me Safeway and have only visitation rights, It’s nice to have the option when I’m on this side of town or shopping with the Madre’.

Safeway is my go-​to store. I love it. They always have excellent deals, and you can’t beat their gas program.
This location is brand new! Located in a new shopping center (we have yet to see what new shops will open up around it) Its so clean and they are always stocked with fresh veggies (including organics). I even saw the manager in his nice suit bring shopping carts back to the store in the rain!
Its sad to see the old Safeway going but this new one is a great additional to the neighborhood.
