This used to be a five-star location, but sadly, staff turnover has diminished the quality. Barista abilities vary wildly, and can range from very good to horrible. I generally walk in and check out who’s making the drinks, then either join the queue, or leave and try another time. The recent make-over of the store was truly horrible. It is a sterile, uninviting décor now. I’m told the remodel is not done, and further changes will be made. I certainly hope so!

Love that this location opens up at 5:30, because that’s when I’m usually leaving the house. The baristas are just the right amount of cheerful(not overwhelming) at that hour which I definitely appreciate. Service is quick at that hour… probably because I’m usually the only one in. This place does get pretty packed during the afternoons which can make it hard to snag a seat. Their wifi works though and its an awesome little space to work from. Gets the job done as the neighborhood Starbucks.

Slow! Slow! Slow! If you are on your way to work in the morning do not use this Starbucks.

The service here isn’t friendly or customer service oriented. The coffee is okay. I’ve had much better at other Starbucks locations. The person who took my order said that an Americano is mostly milk which is not consistent to the way my drink is made anywhere else. I probably wouldn’t come back. I do want to note that this location was very clean though.

Slowest and most poorly staffed national brand coffee joint in the Kenmore-Bothell area. Yes, even slower than Tully’s in Kenmore. Thankfully, there’s a Starbucks in the QFC next door, where you can use QFC and Fred Myer gift cards. QFC is always fast and has the $ 1 reusable cups. Actually, my wife and I realized we have now gotten out of line at the Starbucks to go to QFC5x in a row. Guess what we will be doing from now on?

This place doesn’t impress me too much, but it’s okay for somethings. All I wanted to do was enjoy a coffee before class, but I am having a hard time doing that with their unimpressive wifi. It is inconsistent and maddening. I can’t load half of my webpages. Which is the only reason why I would bother coming in. Location is great, right next to a QFC. There is plenty of seating and I do enjoy the window bar-seating. There are outlets galore underneath the bar, you don’t have to sacrifice getting a nice view or charging your electronics. Their open arrangement of seats also allows this place to be a great place to do some group-work. Their staff is pleasant. I can hear them greet and give nice goodbyes to their customers. It seems that they know most of the people who come in. Their drinks are too shabby either. But, I still can’t get over the poor wifi connection, which is vital for me to get my work done. So if you do need a better/faster connection, go somewhere else. If you want to enjoy a drink with some friends, then this could be your spot.

My all time favorite Starbucks of all time. I moved to bothell 7 years ago and this starbucks always gets it right. The staff is extremely friendly. The only con of this shop is the hours. They close too early :/and more parking would be great.

This Starbucks needs parking. It has plenty of seating for study groups. I think the people who work here now seem nice. They have a lot of couch seating but this creeper brings his office to this sbux to do his work. Seriously, headphones, computer, MONITOR, keyboard, and mouse. He takes up a couch and table and makes it so no one sits at the table across from him. I get good drinks out of this store and like that I can read my paper or work for an hour or two before school.

I normally come here to grab a latte while waiting for some teriyaki(really great next door) but besides that I am surprised people swing in here. Odd parking and there’s already one in QFC.

I love starbucks. It is seriously one of the loves of my life. However this starbucks is lacking big time. Unfortunately, this one is the only one in downtown Bothell, and only blocks from my house. There are a few employees at this location that are really sweet, and nice to talk to. I’ve never been treated rudely, however, the service is horrendously slow, and the quality of drinks are never consistent. Yesterday I stood in line for 5 minutes, while there was only one customer in front of me, and three employees behind the counter. One was singing and being obnoxious and distracting, instead of taking my order. I see that they have comment cards sitting by their sugar/cream table. I almost filled one out, but didn’t as I felt I had already wasted enough time, waiting to order my simple americano drink. When I finally got my drink, it was not hot. If i’m ordering an americano with room, meaning i’m going to add milk or cream, you would think they would know to make it hot. By the time I added my cream and took a sip, immediately after they made it, it was luke-warm. Anyway, kick it up a notch starbucks. If you did, i’d probably be more inclined to visit you more frequently.

They’re consistent. CONSISTENTCRAP. Don’t need to review multiple locations to get that part right! Ok, I will drink their black ice tea, and I did get a pretty cool CD as a gift once.
