Wow. I have been a very loyal customer to the store since the last 2 years. They were always amazing and I literally have to eat 1 each week. However, last Sat we came in and I noticed the chef was different. I had the foods to go and didn’t check before I left the store. When I get home, I was so shocked. I literally said: what is this thing? I can’t even recognize the food. There were several very badly grill shrimp, 2 pieces of grilled chicken that had no salt or any kind of seasoning. The inside of the chicken was a bit raw and the outside was dry. I honestly can make my own food better than that. It was no way a teriyaki chicken. Where is my teriyaki sauce? Felt so ripped off $ 9 for that food quality… I will try 1 more time on a normal weekday… but based on my last experience, I won’t come back. I always thought: you can’t go wrong with teriyaki. I’m wrong!

Great spicy chicken, wonderful flavor with a kick. Service is excellent, and love calling ahead for quick pickup from work. Wish they had kids options.

The spicy chicken is definitely what you should be getting here. Although they do pack your box with rice(¾ of it actually) they do give you a heaping amount of chicken to accompany it. Although some other places would give you much more chicken for $ 9. My one qualm was that I wish I could have gotten some more salad with my meal. They’re teriyaki sauce that they have on the table for you is pretty standard, nothing mind blowing. All in all, pretty chill teriyaki joint.

This place has THE bests spicy chicken in town! The service is excellent. You can always count on Lee and his wife to deliver the best for the best! Chicken Katsu is another very good dish. Lightly breaded — just enough.

It’s a good neighborhood place to get your teriyaki fix. Their portions are huge! Even with the small size order I had leftovers. Their katsu and teriyaki chicken were both good.

Their teriyaki chicken special is always very consistent. I have never received burned or dry chicken, and the rice is always very good. Teriyaki sauce they use isn’t particularly sweet, tastes like they mix a bit of soy sauce in it, but still very good. The couple that run it are very polite just not very friendly, I’m not sure if it’s the language barrier or something else. But other than that this is one of the better places in Bothell to get teriyaki.

They have the best Chicken Katsu in the area! They did not overcook it and they were golden brown and crisp on the outside. We also had their chicken teriyaki and yakisoba, both were very tasty! I highly recommend them and I’ll be returning soon!

This place is wonderful. The portions were huge and we’ll definitely be sharing next time(family of 4 with two kids ages 13 and 11). They package the salad separately which is a plus for me. The food was top notch delicious for Teriyaki!

Came here for lunch during work. The place is small but clean. I got the beef teriyaki lunch special. The food came out fairly quickly and it was a decent portion. The food was good but nothing special

It’s okay. Coworkers suggested this place for lunch. Staff wasn’t super friendly, wasn’t terribly rude. Food wasn’t great but wasn’t bad. I had the small spicy teriyaki, it was served with white rice and a side salad. When I say«served» understand that even if you are eating it there it is brought to your table in a to-go container. I only had a couple bites of the salad, the dressing was very watery and I’m not a fan of iceberg lettuce dressed with water dressing. The spicy chicken teriyaki was moist, it was cooked well but it could have used more actual sauce. My coworkers ordered regular(not spicy) beef/chicken teriyaki and there was a bottle of regular teriyaki sauce on the table which they doused their plates(sorry, to-go boxes) with. I was hesitant to do the same though since I wasn’t sure what mixing the sauces would do to the flavors. The«small» portion was plenty for lunch. Not sure I would suggest going back but if someone else suggested it I wouldn’t say no.

I have been coming here for years. The food is great every single time. It’s hard to find a place that is as consistently good. The owners are great people as well. The care about you and remember who you are.

Chicken Katsu is a must to try. It is weird for them to use lunch box instead of plates. I think its for customers convenience when they want to take the food out. Recommended!

The foods are great. The only thing that i concerned is for the customer who eat at the place. They don’t give plate, the use sterofoam and i don’t like that. The place is cozy and warm.

I’ve only been here once and ordered the spicy chicken teriyaki regular size. There was enough chicken and rice, and a separate salad when I ordered it to go. I found it difficult to get in to the parking lot from the opposite direction. There are a lot of no left turn signs around there so getting to the teriyaki place was kind of frustrating. They had lunch specials but I wanted more food so I went with the regular. The service was prompt and the food came out in a normal amount of time. The spicy chicken, however, was not spicy, and was actually quite dry. There wasn’t any sauce that made me want to eat more so I wished I had gone with the regular lunch size. I’m not normally in this part of town so probably wouldn’t go back there. I’ve had better experiences up the road at a different teriyaki place. I would recommend going there.

This place is pretty tasty. I was sad to leave my old Teriyaki place when I moved, but this place is pretty comparable(which was surprising). I especially enjoy their spicy chicken… it’s sooooo good! Their yakisoba is pretty good too(although not quite as good as my old place). Their portions here are big enough to split between two people yet affordable enough to get several items and have plenty of leftovers to take home. The family who runs this place is friendly and efficient in making sure everything runs smoothly. The food is always fresh yet the wait time is very minimal. This place may not be fancy, but the quality, taste, and affordability of their food more than makes up for it!

Ive tried so many teriyaki places in my lifetime and I just have to say that teriyaki plus is my favorite. I always get the spicy chicken or katsu! Always cooked perfectly and I love how big the portions are. Seriously satisfying food comas everytime.

We ordered the yakisoba and spicy chicken and it was delicious! I would definitely recommend the spicy chicken. The portion was generous and the couple who runs the business were friendly. We only waited a few mins for our food.

I’ll be honest, this place looked a little scary in terms of sitting on the toilet for hours after eating here. BUT this place is amazing. Don’t let the simplicity of this place scare you away. The spicy chicken is pure genius, if you are looking for something to spice it up. The chicken Yakisoba was some of the best I’ve had. And the best part is the prices are super cheap AND you get a huge portion of food. This could be your lunch and dinner for one day. Your food is prepared very quickly, and the people here are super friendly. I love this place!

This place is a gem! I crave their spicy chicken with fried rice at least once a week. The portions are HUGE! It’s at least 3 meals for me. The chicken is moist, not fatty, & melts in your mouth. You get a tiny salad with the best cooling dressing ever. I like to mix my food sometimes, so the best way to eat this is to combine the salad with the chicken & rice, some teriyaki, & dressing over the top. The dressing really helps to cool down the heat from the chicken because it’s pretty spicy. I knock off a star because the owner is not very friendly, & we’ve become fast regulars. It still doesn’t deter me from going but just sayin, it couldn’t hurt to be fab to your customers!

Ordered Veggie Yaki Soba and I am impressed with this place. The portion is generous, it comes with rice and will provide leftovers. When I walked in to pick up a take out order, I could feel that the husband, wife team behind the counter cared about their product and it tastes that way. The taste of the Yaki Soba is hard to explain, it’s soy based and has a sort of 5 spice to it. The 5 spice gives off a bit of a sweet taste but not overly sweet at the same time and being an unofficial teriyaki specialist, it is definitely a unique taste for Yaki Sobi. Can’t wait to go back to try something else on the menu because I know it will be good.
