Love of Learning

At The Garden Preschool students will receive a standards-​driven academic experience, preparing them for kindergarten and beyond. Students will learn through an array of multi-​sensory activities that engage them in learning across a variety of subjects.

Love of Self

We believe in the importance and value in «starting small» and teaching children about healthy living, at a young age. At The Garden Preschool, students will learn about healthy eating and living through fun and engaging activities that are integrated into each day.

Love of God

In every learning experience we reflect on God’s love for us and build an appreciation for the many gifts and blessings that he has given us. Your child will feel loved and secure by not only the teachers, but also by the greatest teacher of all; God.

History

Established in 2012.

The Garden Preschool was founded by Nicole and Kari. They met when they were hired the same year to teach third grade in the Lake Washington School District. In their three years teaching next door to each other they became a strong team, as well as close friends. The two found that they had much in common beyond their love for teaching, including their Christian faith, a passion for healthy living, a love for all things creative, and more! In 2012 they felt a calling to open a preschool where they could use their many gifts and passions to nurture children at the earliest stage of education. They are excited to work with children starting at the roots, and provide what they need to grow into healthy, whole individuals ready to flourish in the elementary school years.
