We’ve been here a number of times and the review is mixed due to different factors. We’ve found the food to be about average. Bangers and mash are pretty good although the peas and potatoes don’t appear to be fresh, but flavor is decent. Beer selection is OK and fish is good, just don’t get the«chips». Chips are cooked fine, but have no flavor, the pomme frites(skinny fires) are much better. On several of our visits we’ve found the service to be lacking, depending on who you get. However, on our most recent visit Gerardo was excellent. So, worth a try, with some limitations.

Visited late night on a weekend night for dinner. It was pretty busy and all tables were full. The beer and wine menu is decent, but prices seemed on the higher side and there were no late night specials, at least none that the servers told us about. We were a group of 20 so we had 2 servers at our table. They were friendly but there was a lot going on that they couldn’t fix — like half the menu couldn’t be served and the women’s bathroom was not working. Beers and no bathroom, not a good idea! Their grill was not in service so they were out of half their menu items. They had also run out of their pot pies and other Irish fare. Unbelievable on a Saturday night! So I ordered fish and chips, only to be told they were out of the salmon I’d requested and substituted with cod instead. Not the best but served hot and fresh. Some other people ordered food that looked better but nothing outstanding. Most people had to resort to dessert as the food selection was so limited but our group did not want to change venue. Giving it 3 stars for the friendly service, the food will have to wait since they were only serving a handful of items on their menu.

This is a great pub all around! It has tasty food(I really like the fish and chips and the meat pies) and the curry sauce is like crack. The staff are friendly and treat you like family. I tend to sit at the bar when I come here because the bartenders are a great bunch. Don’t come here expecting some swanky experience, it’s a pub and a five-star pub at that.

Good food if you are after something different than your typical bar. They have a good drink selection. Prices are a little high and the service hasn’t been great the times I have been. But overall, somewhere I would still return even with the mediocre service.

Service is okay. Candel(blonde server) is mediocre but Joe(or Jeff??) is awesome. The Salt and Pepper chicken wings are legit the best I’ve ever had. And trivia on Mondays is fun!

And Jesse, the younger bartender, is a really great guy to make some conversation with! He’s made himself a notably pleasant presence in the bar. Megan is also a very good staff member there, she’s very sweet and efficient in her work. And cute. So hey

Had a Seahawks day breakfast and the place was very comfy with great service! I would recommend it. They also give away a Seahawks jersey at the end of the game. NICE!

My girlfriend and I went to get a bite and drinks at the new McMinimins at the old Anderson School campus. McMinimins did a good job making it an attraction, but in every bar and restaurant it was a hour and twenty min. wait. So we drove just a block away to the old Main street of Bothell. We found Three Lions Pub. We got a seat as soon as we walked in the pub, the service was quick and friendly, the drinks were great, the food was fantastic, the bartender Stephen was great, he made sure we got everything for a happy time in the pub. I would recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Bothell for the first time.

Decent bar for this general area, nothing too remarkable but okay. Received good service at my visit. A bit pricey for food but have great beer selection.

Extremely over priced and never anywhere to sit. The wings are great, so are the crisps. Good dessert as well. But again, overpriced. Pretty weak happy hour too and they don’t serve food very late. Service is hit or miss. We’ve been here quite a few times in the past few years but have recently stopped going because it’s kind of a rip off. Bottom line, there’s better bars all over Bothell.

It’s a bar… And a British themed bar. So my expectations for the food were not too high. There is nothing fancy on the menu, but the chips with curry sauce are addictive, and the sliders were remarkably good. The service is great. Friendly and efficient. AND they have outdoor seating. I hate missing a nice day! Great spot for a nosh and a pint.

I’m torn with this review. We ate there last night, August 12, and the service was amazing. We sat outside and the waiter was clearly very, very busy,– but he pulled it off. He was kind, patient, efficient and really a joy to be around. He ran his tail off waiting on the inside dining area which was packed as well as the back area. He was just awesome. The menu is just okay though. Not being big meat eaters, there is virtually nothing on the menu that doesn’t have meat except salads and fries. I’d love to see a little more variety. I know this is a British style pub, and that is the type of bar food served, but… maybe some hummus or nachos or just anything vegetarian would be great.

The fish in the fish and chips tasted the way that dirty dish water smells. The bangers were chewy on the ends and gritty in the middle. The texture made them seem over cooked, but they weren’t very warm. They also lacked flavor. And I know what bangers and mash is supposed to taste like, so no excuse. The mashed potatoes tasted like instant mash potatoes. The gravy is the only thing that made it edible. It comes with a plain side of peas. Just hanging out on the plate. Presentation is definitely lacking. Fries were decent. No service in the outside dining area. One waiter and one waitress, and they were super busy. I felt badly that they didn’t have more help. I did not feel bad for the cook who came out back to smoke a joint and then return to work. Round of applause for professionalism. Never going back.

A sort of vaguely British-looking pub with a vaguely British menu and a vaguely British selection of beer. The there is a bit of British memorabilia, a few British menu items and beers but the taxidermied items are ‘local’, the menu includes regular pub grub and the tap list includes microbrew. None of this bothered me because I could care less about getting the ‘authentic’ British pub experience. All in all, it seemed like a nice enough place. And then we started ordering things. You can only get beer in a pint. No schooners, no small pours. It took for-friggin’-ever to get get lunch, even at 1:45 in the afternoon. Yeah, there were other patrons, but wow. It was actually slow times two, because they missed the chicken Caesar wrap that my son ordered on the first go-round so he had to re-order that and he had to wait for it as I ate my lunch. There was no sense of hustle because they goofed — he had to suck it up and wait his turn… again. The one good thing there was the fries with cheese and bacon. Huge plate of fries, lots of cheese and tons of good bacon. The price was under nine bucks. The rest of the menu prices aren’t so great. I think the chicken Caesar wrap was thirteen, and given the presentation not a bargain. The fresh-cooked chips that came with it were great but if the best feature of a pub is the potatoes you’re probably in the wrong place.

Came here on a whim and will definitely be back! New to the Bothell area, I am not too familiar with the surrounding haunts. As I was walking by the door the The Three Lions Pub, the smell itself drew me in — and I was not disappointed! I ordered the Shepher’s Pie, and it was fantastic. The meat-to-mash portion was executed perfectly, and the side salad I ordered had been made with fresh, above-par ingredients; I felt like I had just been transported to Europe! The service was as attentive as it could be on a Saturday night, but you may want to go in before dinner time, as the wait time for service was a bit longer than usual, especially since I was seated at the bar area, where service tends to be faster. Prices were average; nothing to complain about, and you definitely receive quality food for your dollar! Overall, I am eager to go back and try more of the menu — but maybe on a less-busy night.

Yes, it’s bar food. Yes, the service can be shoddy. The food nothing to write home about but the burgers are good and the happy hour menu is fine. But all of the existing reviews are missing a VERYIMPORTANTFACT about The Three Lions: the bread pudding is absolute heaven. This is not a matter of opinion. The bread pudding is DELICIOUS. Make sure you order it with the custard, my boyfriend swears it’s the only way to go. The other desserts range from okay to pretty damn awful(I ordered pie once and I don’t even know what I got) but it is worth coming here for the bread pudding alone.

Came to TLP for St. Patty’s day. As expected, the place was packed. They had around 3 irish beers on tap and were $ 1 off for St. Pat special. We looked over the menu, and honestly to me nothing sounded good. I was not in a burger and fry kinda mood, but that’s about all they had. With the exception of some St. Pat specials; like corned beef. Go figure. ;) The prices were steep for bar food. I got Chicken Burger, $ 12. It was ok, but nothing to wrote home about. All entrees ranged from $ 10-$ 14. Their wings were $ 10 for 6. Pricey! I usually write long reviews, but I don’t have too much to say about this place. To summarize; expensive, very blah bar food & over priced beers. I won’t be returning.

Came with some friends for Happy Hour on a Wednesday evening. Good atmosphere and beer selection. I normally frequent the Redmond location but haven’t been there as often since they began franchising. The menu went from open book to laminated sheet and the quality of food has changed. Granted, I will still throw down a Stilton burger! So good! I recommend this spot if you need a fun place to go to watch a sounders/soccer game.

The Good Sooo… Best wings I’ve had(specifically the Chipotle wings) Great burgers, especially the Red Leceister burger with bacon(make sure to ask for it crispy) The Bad Some of the servers suck pretty bad. Rome is great. Nikki is very friendly, but slow and forgetful. KrisAnne(sp?) is one of the worst servers I’ve encountered in my many years of paying for food. I am a former server who typically tips 25%+ for average service, and 20% for bad service. KrisAnne is the only server I’ve ever stiffed — her service was that bad. I won’t get into the details, but I ended up directly tipping the bartender, the server next to me, and the cooks — all of whom gave us great service, despite the fact that they were not our server. Back to the Good Justin and Greg are the best servers in the pub, and they are the cooks. Three Lions Pub is pretty much the only bar option in Bothell until Amaro Bistro opens up next week, so I still come here often, but I try to stick to Saturday and Sunday brunch service when Justin and Greg are working. If the pub hires some competent servers and lowers the price of its beers by $ 1 each($ 5.75 for a Guiness??) it would get 4 stars, with the potential for 5.
