I have been very happy with this kindercare, though there has been a high turnover lately. My son was diagnosed with ADHD this last year and finding the best way to manage it has been really tough, but his teacher has been amazing! Very patient, very supportive, and made herself very accessible. The teachers are very kind and loving toward the kids. It is definitely kept clean and they have started a new curriculum which I am very happy with. I am very glad my kids are able to go here.

My daughter is always happy when to pick her up. My work schedule has my daughter at daycare for up to eleven hours a day and I am always comforted by knowing she is safe, happy, and learning. Not only did her infant teacher teach her to drink from a bottle in two days after being strictly breast fed, but my daughter is now at a two year old maturity level at sixteen months.

My kids went to this daycare for about a year and a half. For the first year it was great. The old center director was FANTASTIC with my kids. Incidents were really limited and, when something did arise, it was handled promptly and professionally and she was considerate of my children’s needs and circumstances.
Things changed a lot once the new director took over. My children started acting out more and telling me how they hated it there. With limited childcare options, I didn’t have much of a choice but to keep them there.
At one point, there was an incident in which my four year old somehow was left unattended in a bathroom with a young girl his age and he touched her bottom, something he had not done before or since then, anywhere. CPS was called & both the center & my family was interviewed. The social worker noted that there was nothing out of the ordinary about my son’s behavior or our environment at home, but she still recommended against my son returning after the center placed him on a 2 week suspension (the director was going to outright disenroll him without any warning) because she felt that the teachers at the center were not able to provide adequate supervision.
He returned, but it was one thing after another & I felt like my children and I were unfairly targeted after that incident. I was always being called to pick one of them up for something completely ridiculous or age-​appropriate behavior, and blame was always reflected back at us rather than the center taking any responsibility. They called CPS on my family 4 – 5 times within a 6 week period for «incidents», one of which included my 7 year old, who has special needs, having a scratch on his arm (because apparently a child having a bandaid or scratch at 7 years old is «unusual»). Each and every time, the social workers came out and said there were absolutely no concerns with the care of my children or their home environment. That they were NORMAL KIDS FOR THEIR AGES. Even they thought the claims made by the center were ridiculous but they were required to come out anyway. This caused constant stress and intrusion and placed unreasonable fear on my family because I had to document every bruise or mark on my kids so it wouldn’t come back on us.
The last straw came when I was told to come and pick my nearly two year old son up because he kept trying to «escape» the classroom to the outside playground and because he «threw a chair at a pregnant teacher». First off, HE’S NOT EVEN TWO YEARS OLD. He doesn’t know what pregnant means and the teacher wasn’t even visibly pregnant. Second, the chairs small toddler chairs. There is no way that a one year old can throw a mini chair with enough force to hurt a grown adult. And, lastly, if my toddler is capable of «escaping» a classroom, then it means there is a lack in preventative security measures. Don’t put toddlers in a room where there is an UNSECURED door leading to the outside – any of the other children in the room could just as easily push the door open. Or you add locks to said door that are high enough only for the teachers to reach. We all know that, as is custom with a lot of children especially at that age, telling them «no» once or even multiple times doesn’t work. Often they want to do it more because it’s something they know they aren’t supposed to do. Rather than the center taking accountability for their lapses, the blame was pushed to my toddler.
After getting 2 calls within days of each other to pick my children up for things that the center should have been able to easily handle on their own, I got frustrated and had a heated conversation with them over the phone. I was a single mother with a new job (and therefore no PTO) and couldn’t always leave work to come pick up my kids. No money = not supporting my family. Rather than be helpful (though they will say «they tried to work with me»), they just didn’t want to grow up and deal with anything. I had a right to be frustrated with the treatment that we had received over the months, but they didn’t like that, and upon me hanging up the phone to try & arrange alternate pick-​up plans for my children, they called me back and said I needed to immediately pick my children up and they were disenrolled on the spot. I ended up being out of work for a week while I made alternate arrangements.
Oh, they also said that maybe my kids «just weren’t fit to be in daycare centers» & that I should try in-​home daycare. It’s been 3 months at the new centers & I have had no problems plus GLOWING reports of how all of my kids are thriving & very well-​behaved– they were even called «a blessing». Hmmm, seems to me like the problem is KinderCare and NOT my kids like they tried to assert.
A lot of families have left this center and I don’t blame them. Unless they fix management, I would not recommend this center. I gave 1 star only because there were a few teachers there who were really wonderful to my kids & treated us with the respect we deserved.

My child has always been safe while there and I like that they have a door code. However my son was in the toddler room and he cries when i drop him off and when I get there, none of the kids seem very happy and I dont feel they give them enough attention and activities to do. The staff always seem rushed, overwhelmed, unhappy, and cranky, not to mention very unorganized, they are always losing my sons stuff and he comes home with other toddlers diapers even though I bring all his own stuff. I have brought this to their attention and nothing has changed. They never tell me how my child is doing or what he is learning. Good but if you have the time to find somewhere else or get on a waitlist. I think they could work on some things and it would be a better center.

I pulled my child do to high turnover with both staff and managers. The place is dirty, lacking toys and staff is not held accountable to teach the Kindercare curriculum. I contacted regional admin to voice my concerns and little was done. The paint chips coming off the walls were taken care of but that was it. Staff is young, underpaid and without training. Staff are required to take early childhood classes within their first 6 months of employment but most leave before taking any. Staff were not honest with parents when it came to behavior concerns. But staff has no training on how to manage behavior challenges or on how to build relationships with parents. My daughter’s social/​emotional/​academic growth was stagnant during her stay here. Location is great. Security good. But that is it.
