Z & I Tree Service Co

Zach and crew showed up and did a fantastic job removing a 70′, fir tree which died over the summer from our backyard. Other than a newly formed stump you would never know they were here! The entire experience from bid, to communication, to execution of the job was top notch. No surrounding shrubs or plants were damaged while they took the limbs off the tree or taking the tree itself down. This really surprised me given the drop zone was tight. Just fantastic.

Zach and his guys just trimmed three trees for us. They did a great job, including clean up. I’ll use them again.

Zach and his crew arrived precisely as planned, performed their work in a timely manner and as stated in other reviews, left my yard in a better state than when they arrived. Their careful attention to personal property is admirable. Each of them were extremely considerate of me, our possessions and courteous about the neighbors and the surrounding area.
If you are in need of ANY tree service, whether it be pruning, topping or removal, in my opinion you will be hard pressed to find any company that will do a better, more professional job at the reasonable prices they offer.
We will definitely use them for future project.

We used Z&I for removing one large fir tree right next to our house. Initially we have requested quote to several companies, but all of these (including one that we have previously requested service) were very slow or no response. Then we found Z&I with very good reviews on Unilocal and contacted them. They were very quick in responding to my email and gave us the lowest price, less than half of another company.
On the day of work, the crew arrived 20 mins before the appointment and was waiting outside of our house until I went out to talk to them. Despite the hard condition with rain, their work was very quick and the huge tree was almost gone within 2 – 3 hours, while another company (that gave us the highest quote) told us it would take 7 – 8 hours for them. After removing the tree they cleaned our roof and the street. A few days later, on the late afternoon before thanksgiving, they came back again to haul away all the tree trunks.
Overall, they are great and we would use them next time we need a tree service.

Z&I did a great job. They removed four large birch trees, all of which were close to the house and two of which were close to the power lines. They also trimmed up several other trees that were close to the power and cable lines.
Not only were they careful and safe but they left the site cleaner than it was when they arrived! They even dug up one of our hydrangeas and gently placed it out of harm’s way.
We also loved that they arranged to have the rounds picked up by someone who donates firewood to those in need too.
They do get busy so be patient with scheduling but it’s definitely worth going with this company to get the job done!

We used Zach and his team twice in the last 3 months. First, they did a first-​rate job in dead-​wooding our several Spruces/​Firs and removing 2 trees. We loved them so much, we asked them to come back and plant 19 Arbor Vitae as a screen. Excellent service. Highly Recommend!

This company was a pleasure to do business with! Gabriella was very friendly and a pleasure to work with. The team of guys that came-​out to do the work were on-​time, extremely friendly & cleaned up after they were finished! They did a ton of work for not a ton of money and I got several bids on this work before we decided to go with this company!
I will be using them again and will recommend them to family and friends!

Z&I have worked on my trees on two occasions. First, in 2009 they did a big job cutting down a two-​story-​tall cherry tree growing by the side of my house. It was a tricky job, being so close to the house, but they did a terrific job for a reasonable price and the contact person, Gabriella, was easy to work with.
So I went back to them this summer when my fruit trees needed pruning. The arborists did a great job on my fruit trees. However, I had a really frustrating and disappointing experience communicating with the staff, but then Z & I exceeded my wildest customer service expectations. Because I was so frustrated with the communication (as expressed here on Unilocal in a previous review), Gabriella sent me a really kind and honest email about what went wrong with the communication and sent me a check for more than half of what I had paid for the job — I never even asked for that! I’m not only happy about the check (of course), but I’m relieved because I have been really happy working with Z&I in the past and am happy to know I can continue to count on them to care for my trees.

Z and I Tree Service just got done cutting down two big pine trees and trimming back two just as big cypress trees in our backyard.
Gabriella was very easy to talk to, and they had a quick response. They were out at our house the same day we called asking for an estimate. Two days later, they are promptly at our door ready to work. The three-​man crew worked efficiently and had everything finished in under three hours. They were also very nice!
We are recent homebuyers with a house that needs a lot of work (and money) put into it to make it great (overgrown backyard and frontyard!) — and I feel that Z and I Tree Service were very helpful cost-​wise.
We will definitely use Z and I Tree Service the next time we want to do anything tree-​wise, which I know we will!

Gabriella was a pleasure to work with. I needed a big cottonwood down in my Kenmore property and after contacting 3 different companies, she was the quickest to respond. She met me at the site and was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice.
On the day of the removal, I could not make it, but she assured me that it would be completed and everything went very smooth. She followed up during the day and a few days later and always kept me informed. The crew cleaned up well and the business as a whole was great to work with. Great customer service! I knew I was being taken cared of.

Zachary’s crew is awesome. the team of four came out to thin and trim four mature trees, one of which was a huge 80 year old tree in our front and back yards. they took down several cracked branches, chipped and hauled everything away and left my property even cleaner than before they started the job. i am ecstatic that we have more light coming through the trees to our house in the front and back. and i no longer worry about a potential tree limb crashing through our roof. extremely professional. exceeded expectations. beat competition’s bids. simply excellent value and service. i would highly recommend Z & I tree service.

Z&I Tree Service did a fantastic job for us. We had a large fir tree (over 40 feet tall, 4.5 feet in diameter) that needed to be taken down in our backyard. We received a very competitive bid for the job which also included taking down 2 additional trees as well as trimming a neighbor’s tree.
Gabriela was very prompt in providing an estimate and the crew showed up on time to do the work that same week. They were very friendly and professional in the work they did. Not only did they take the trees down without any damage to the surrounding plants, shrubs and cedar fence, they were very efficient and did a great job of cleaning up and chipping the branches.
I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone interested in having a tree removed or reducing wind sail. 5 stars to Z&I!

I used Z & I Tree Service to take down a large tree in my front yard. It was a somewhat tricky job due to the nearby power lines and small site area. Received a competitive bid and they scheduled the service. Unfortunately, they had an emergency the day of, however we rescheduled quickly for the following week. They showed up as promised and took the tree down in about 35 minutes — wow. The guys were extremely friendly, courteous, and clearly knew what they were doing. They even blew the area before they left. All in all, I’d highly recommend Z&I for anyone looking to remove a tree. Though they cancelled the first time, they made up for it with good customer service and a great crew. I will use them again.

They did a wonderful job! We had 11 trees wind sailed, very tall cedar and pine trees. Their crew was efficient. What a hard job this was! I will have them come out again in the future. Their pricing was the best. They cleaned-​up all the debris and our back yard looks like a park now. They are experts in what they do!

We had a very precarious situation with two large leaning trees in our backyard. We got three quotes from three different companies. Z and I offered a thorough and good quote. They were available right away. They were on time, had a three man crew and got to work right away. We are pleased with the work, clean up and efficiency with which they worked.
We were impressed with the skill and knowledge dealing with our specific situation.
