I specialize in relieving pain and balancing disharmonies in my patients using the full range of Oriental Medicine techniques and therapies: Acupuncture, Asian bodywork therapy, moxibustion, and cupping therapy.

History

Established in 2012.

I earned my California acupuncture license in August 2012, and my Nevada Oriental Medicine Doctor license in January 2013. I offer Acupuncture & Herbal Medicine in addition to a full range of Asian Bodywork Therapy services. Other business names I used in the past are Anita Shiatsu! and Anita Lanier Wellness. I have been a Nevada licensed massage therapist since 2003 (NSMT #192), and massaging professionally since 1996. I taught Shiatsu at CSN and at the California Healing Arts College in Los Angeles. I am currently on leave from teaching acupuncture courses at Wongu University in Las Vegas, where I taught in 2012 and 2013.

Offering traditional Chinese medicine and natural healing to a community that welcomed me and my husband over 10 years ago is makes owning this business a dream job. My husband, computer animator Lee Lanier, and I moved to Boulder City in 2002, and started the highly successful Dam Short Film Festival, an annual event entering its 11^th year. Our newest venture has been hosting a monthly Dr. Sketchy Anti-​Art school life drawing event in Boulder City, every 1^st Tuesday at Milo’s Cellar. Art and fun are as much good therapy as right diet, movement, herbs and acupuncture!
