Specialties
At Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Boulder City, our mission is simple: to share our passion, one sandwich at a time. We’ve been serving fresh, high quality sandwiches to our community for over ten years, and we’re excited to show you what we have to offer.
We take pride in our extensive menu selection, which includes hot and cold subs, salads, and sandwiches, all packed with bold, fresh flavors and ingredients. Capriotti’s wrote the book on Thanksgiving in a bun with our Bobbie sandwich, which is made using our slow-roasted, pulled turkey that’s cooked in-house daily, fresh cranberry sauce, stuffing, and mayo. Feel free to dress it up with some fresh veggies or seasoning!
If you want to share your love of Capriotti’s with friends, family, or coworkers, choose us to cater your next event! Most catering options cost just over $ 5 per person and we do not have a party minimum. If you’re in the mood for a fast and fresh sub or sandwich, head to Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Boulder City! We’re looking forward to serving you.
History
Established in 1976.
Lois Margolet grew up in Wilmington, Delaware, in a neighborhood known as Little Italy. Lois had a dream to open her own sandwich shop. In 1976, Lois quit her full-time job, borrowed money and purchased a boarded-up building on North Union Street in Wilmington, where the original Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop still stands. Lois, along with her brother Alan Margolet, decided to open a sandwich shop on the first floor, while she lived on the second floor. They named the sandwich shop after their grandfather, Philip Capriotti, who loved to cook for them.
Their concept was to capture the hearts of «real turkey lovers,» an idea that would separate Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop from almost all of its competition. They served sandwiches made-to-order with fresh roasted pulled turkey, the best quality meats and cheeses, and fresh rolls and produce delivered daily. Today, Capriotti’s Sandwich Shops located around the country are carrying on the tradition begun in Delaware over 30 years ago.
