Description

Specialties

We offer a luxurious guest cottages on our Victorian «Micro-Farm» for those who love Bed and Breakfast style accommodations but desire to have their own private space. We don’t serve breakfast, but each cottage comes with it’s own kitchen so you can cook up your own gourmet delicacies… maybe some that come from our own garden!

The «Magnolia Cottage» (sleeps 2) is a miniature version of the Hartman House, a registered Queen Anne Victorian. The cottage has a beautifully redesigned kitchen, plank wood floors, a full bath with an antique claw foot tub, and a thermostatically controlled wood burning stove.

The «Carriage House» (sleeps up to 6), is a much larger home more appropriate for guests that just need a bit more space or for families. You will find the «Carriage House» at the rear of our Victorian farmstead through our heirloom fruit orchard with a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains.

History

Established in 2007.

The Hartman House is a Queen Anne Victorian on the Historic Register. We moved here in 2004 and began the process of restoring the cottages and gardens. The Hartman family were known for their community gatherings and candy making parties and were prominent business people in town. Today, we continue the tradition of providing a place for friends and family to gather and create wonderful memories by offering guest cottages on our Victorian «Micro-Farm.» We even make our own delectable salted caramel for each guest to enjoy!
