For years I felt un-​connected with my body as if it were a burden to carry around, from back pain to clumsiness to flat feet. I felt embarrassed of my body’s uneasiness and awkward movements, and felt resentment for having to deal with all its pains and maintenance. Desperately wanting to find a solution, I came across Structural Integration, and decided to have the 10 series.

After my 10 series I became aware that my body was not something I «had» to carry around with me. It was me. It was indispensable from my whole identity. And was doing a wonderful job of compensating for the lack of attention and appreciation I was giving it. The dramatic effects of finally feeling IN my body, and understanding its natural grace was truly a blessing. However feeling relief from chronic ankle pain wasn’t bad either! I also experienced some interesting personality shifts such as a calmer disposition, more confidence, and more motivation as I had been going through some difficult emotional issues w
