Established in 1996.

Boldface Design Group started out in the Washington, DC area where we designed primarily for new tech, telecom and government contractors. Owner Carolyn McHale moved the business to Boulder in 2006 and continues to work with businesses in both the Boulder/​Denver and Washington, DC areas providing custom print and web design.

Business Owner

Carolyn has been designing logos, layouts and web pages since opening Boldface Design in 1996. She was a finalist in a contest to design Lindsey Vonn’s Olympic helmet and recently her logo for zoola has appeared on billboards and buses up and down Colorado’s front range.
