We are a casually elegant family owned and operated italian eatery that specializes in northern and southern italian cusine. Gregorio Carelli owner/manager worked under the tutelage of Chef Agustino Fiacshe from Coccorino Calabria, Italy for 12 years. Enjoy live jazz every friday night at Carelli’s Osteria Bar and Lounge. The restaurant also boasts the Creperia Bar where a host of exquisite dessert crepes are made to order by our own Pastry Chef Massimo Governale from Genoa, Italy.
History
Established in 1991.
Carelli’s has been a family owned Trattoria for 21 years. Gregorio Carelli has worked in the restaurant since its start in 1991 and was his fathers Chef in his fathers restaurants in Chicago for 11 years before that.
