We have been specializing in only eyelash extensions for years. The process is long and detailed and demands perfection. We are the absolute best at what we do. Individual lashes are applied to your natural lashes one by one with a medical grade adhesive. The result is flawless, natural looking lashes that have the fullness and length you have always dreamed of! We also offer eyebrow shaping and tinting as the perfect compliment to your gorgeous new lashes.

History

Established in 2008.

My name is Melissa and I opened a small eyelash extension studio called Center of Attention in January of 2009. In no time, I was blessed enough to have a full clientele in the heart of Austin, TX. I re-​located to Boulder, Colorado in September of 2010 to start Center of Attention here in this sweet mountain town. I was again blessed to have a full clientele develop quickly and have since hired three amazing employees, Katie, Sarah, and Ariel to be my lash partners! We are all genuinely excited to do each set of lashes. There is no other service that can brighten and open the eye area the way lashes do. It is a joy to watch women leave our studio with confidence and happiness. We are so grateful to get to do what we absolutely love everyday!

I have been a certified esthetician in Texas and Colorado since 2008. I have since trained multiple times a year with the top artists in the world. I travel all over to receive the most advanced and current education. I am a master lash stylist in the fields of synthetic, silk, and mink individual lash application. I worked in a very high volume eyelash studio in Austin, Texas before going out on my own. I have been doing lashes and only lashes since the day I completed certification. There are always new things to learn and new challenges to overcome and every minute of it has been amazing. I believe in constantly receiving continuing education. I believe in maintaining the health of your natural lash above anything else. Most of all, I believe that feeling confident in your appearance is part of loving your whole self. It is a delight to help people accomplish that on a daily basis.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Everyone was super friendly, the environment is chic, and service was amazing. I did both eyelashes and eyebrows (tinting and waxing). I didn’t pluck my eyebrows for a month before I went for my appointment, because a long history of overplucking. Sarah picked the perfect shape and color. I was super surprised on how big my eyebrows looked afterwards! Plus, she give me tons of really helpful advice the whole time and was super friendly. Ariel did my eyelashes and was very nice too! The eyelashes work with my big eyes and now I don’t have to wear makeup. If you are someone who doesn’t like to wear a lot of makeup or have oily skin where makeup never really lasts, I really recommend looking into these services. I feel a lot more confident. Thanks ladies!

Sarah is who I regularly see, and the lashes she crafts are amazing, BUT the more important part is her skill level with lash extensions. Many salons can give you lashes, but that doesn’t mean they’re taking good care of your natural lashes. Often, after the lashes have grown out (or even earlier) you are left with sparse, short or broken lashes. Sarah teaches you how to take care of them, but more importantly, when the lashes eventually grow out, your lashes are not damaged and they look just as full as before. That is a BIG thing, and I cannot stress it enough. Don’t waste your money on a place that will damage your lashes! The girls here know when and where and how to make your lashes look fly.

Just went in to get an eyebrow shaping and could not have been happier! My brows look great and the whole experience was so comfortable. Not only is it a very relaxing and stylish spa like environment, the staff is so friendly and accommodating. I even got a hand written thank you card in the mail after my appointment!
I will keep coming back for my brows, and when I’m ready to leap into lashes this will be my go-​to place!

I have been getting my lashes done here since October and am so beyond in love with this place and my lashes. It has seriously changed my life. I wake up and feel so much sexier and confident and can never imagine not having them on. I’m seriously addicted. The office is such a fun place to come to and the girls that work here are so sweet and hilarious. I always look forward to my appointments. I did synthetic originally and then switched to a mixed fill and loved them both. The girls are so good with gauging how to do the length and how to work with your eye shape. Cannot recommend this place enough!

I can’t talk about how this salon compares to others because this was my first experience with lash extensions, but everything about Center of Attention was comfortable and calming so it’s a 5-​star for me!
In case you don’t know, chemotherapy causes loss of ALL your hair, not just the hair on the top of your head! Some body hair, including my eyelashes and eyebrows have never grown back like they were prior to my treatment. There are so many issues to deal with in breast cancer recovery and I’ve finally made my way down the list to: be comfortable in my skin again. I’ve heard about lash extensions but considered them an extravagance for women with too much time on their hands. And then one day I stared in the mirror for 15 minutes. Five minutes after that I was Unilocal-​ing and google-​ing salons in the area!
My confidence and self-​esteem has been transformed. While no one else can pinpoint the difference, I feel beautiful again. I wasn’t sure that would ever happen. Thank you, Sarah, for more than I can ever say!

Ariel did an amazing job on my blended set. It was a comfortable bed, she had tunes playing, and was very gentle with the process. My set was blended mink and synthetic because I wanted a natural but full look and she listened and did exactly what I needed! Love them.

Best in class — period. The ladies at Center of Attention are THE go-​to people for lash extensions in the Denver-​Boulder metro. The experience, knowledge, technique and artistry each of these women have is unmatched at the other spas and salons were I have gotten lashes. Sarah’s lashes are so beautiful, I’ve been a faithful client for two years. She is very professional, gentle, and makes the experience as comfortable as it can be. I just moved to Boulder from California and needed to get a fill for my lash extensions. I went to the Center of Attention and had incredible service and care. Melissa and Katie were both excellent technicians and they did a fantastic job of making my lashes beautiful once again.
They were also able to educate me on how to properly care for my lashes (which no one had done sufficiently before). They took pictures of my lashes that showed me how my previous extensions were actually too heavy for my lashes and had caused some damage. Luckily, it is reversible if I am careful from now on, but if it had gone on much longer, it may have caused permanent damage.
The studio is beautiful and clean, their training and knowledge is far superior to anywhere I have gone previously and they are genuinely nice and very helpful.
I am so grateful to have found their studio and would highly recommend their services to any of my friends or family.

I have had two other sets done at different studios and always had something that I didn’t like about them, but this set is perfect! I can’t believe the knowledge and artistry that is exhibited by these stylists. I highly recommend this studio. Do not waste your time or money going anywhere else.

Waking up every morning to a beautiful, make-​up free face is priceless. I got my lashes done for the first time about 6 months ago and I haven’t put makeup on since. My lashes are all I need. I look forward to my visits with Katie every 3 weeks. She is an inspiring beauty and she always lets me in on some new beauty secret she’s discovered. She does a wonderful job making my lashes look exactly how I wanted. I have always left Katies office feeling inspired and beautiful. If you have never had lash extensions before then you are missing out. I cannot live without mine and I trust only the ladies at center of attention with the delicate task of making me beautiful.

I am a 60+ year old woman and my eyelashes are getting very sparse. Melissa worked her magic and after a very comfortable time in her beautiful salon I left feeling beautiful! I had the eyelashes I had always dreamed of and without the use of mascara! I totally recommend the services she provides (she also tinted and shaped my eyebrows!). She makes you feel so comfortable during the process (I fell asleep!) and is such a sweet person to boot. I recommend this salon very highly. You won’t regret it!

I started going to Katie at Center of Attention on recommendation from a coworker of mine in July 2013. I had extensions put on my lashes elsewhere, and while I have dark, thick lashes, the quality of those extensions were so bad it damaged my eyelashes. At any rate, I was really hoping Katie could work magic.. .and she did.
I have a blend of mink and acrylic lashes, and typically go every 3 weeks or so for a fill. (Your needs may vary). They only use the absolute best materials.
I absolutely love love LOVE how pretty I feel when I wake up every morning. There’s nothing like waking up, combing my lashes, and being ready to go! I get compliments all the time, and when I tell my girlfriends they’re extensions, they don’t believe me. They look and feel incredibly natural.
I can’t rave about Katie enough! (I’ve heard Melissa is fantastic too)
Don’t hesitate. Go book an appointment! You’ll be hooked, just like me. (Sidenote: I just referred another girlfriend of mine to Katie last week, and now she’s absolutely hooked too!)

I first got my lashes from Melissa in June 2011 because I was getting in married in Hawaii and I have been going to see her ever since. Even after moving to Denver, I still travel to see Melissa in Boulder because she is simply the best. Once you realize how natural and full your lashes can be with extensions, you’ll never want to stop! Melissa is so accomplished that I’ve had other eyelash extension specialists ask me who did my lashes and comment on how well they were done. I have referred several friends and my daughter to Melissa and they have all come away thrilled with their lashes. I’ve had Katie do my lashes while Melissa was out of town and she also does a fantastic job. The ladies at Center of Attention are beautiful, kind, considerate and professional. They are warm and welcoming and the studio is lovely, cozy and comfortable. You will come away looking beautiful and refreshed and you’ll never want to be without your eyelash extensions again.

I have been getting lash extensions for about 6 months now. I am not a really big primper and dont wear makeup generally so getting lashes is not that typical of me. However, once I did it — I literally couldn’t stop. My eyes look great when I wake up, when I am working out, all the time. It takes my no makeup look and turns it up a notch and makes me look a little more polished… I’m obsessed. I do a mix btwn synthetic and mink. Center of attention has an adorable studio and I fall asleep there most the time — unless Melissa has me cracking up. I really can’t say better things about lashes, center of attention or Melissa in general.

I have always been a little nervous to get eyelash extensions especially after reading that they will ruin your natural lashes… BUT my experience at Center of Attention was amazing!!! Melissa put all of my fears to rest and she did a wonderful job on my lashes… They are full and very natural looking! Why did I wait so long to try extensions??? I highly recommend Center of Attention. Don’t go anywhere else… Melissa is the best in the State!!!
