Dr. David Evans is a 1998 graduate of the Indiana University School of Dentistry. After graduation, Dr. Evans moved to Colorado and went into private practice in north Boulder. Dentistry involves keeping up to date with the latest technologies and dental treatments including laser dentistry. As an alumni of the Dawson Center for the Advancement of Dentistry, Dr. Evans focused on occlusion or bite relationship. As a member of D.O.C.S, Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation, Dr. Evans is able to provide an anxiety free dentistry in north Boulder through Conscious Sedation. This proves to be helpful to patients when complex or multiple dental procedures need to be preformed or for those patients that have some anxiety about going to the dentist. Dr. Evans knows the importance of a healthy smile and can help you make informed choices about your dental care.

Dr Evans has been nothing but great. I hate the dentist, as do most, & he’s quite gentle. They keep you as comfortable as possible & are very polite.
Also, they have a nice little snack area in the waiting area!

I have been going to Dr Evans for 5 years and they do a great job! They are always friendly, on time and take very good care of my teeth without adding unnecessary services and added costs. And I can walk there since they are conveniently located in NOBO!

Dr Evans must have been in a hurry for he was impatient and irritated with me because I could still feel pain during the first part of multiple fillings. He never spoke to me about what he was doing until I asked, and of course that is difficult when being worked on by a dentist. It was an uncomfortable and sort of traumatic experience. Perhaps he needed to be somewhere else? The staff is top notch, friendly, professional and one of the best medical staffs we’ve ever met. My spouse has noted that scheduling is inconvenient, because it takes multiple visits to accomplish a cleaning exam and other work.

I’ve had Dr. Evans as my dentist for four years now. He and his amazing team of hygienists and assistants are friendly, funny, and courteous. They also have really great hi-​tech solutions (instant computer X-​rays, ultrasonic cleaners, invisalign). I went through invisalign (the invisible braces), so I was a regular monthly and bi-​weekly visitor there for about 18 months. Every time, I felt like I was important and well-​cared for. He’s also really good with my neighbor’s kids from what they’ve told me.

Awesome experience! I am deathly afraid of hygienists and have a low pain tolerance level. The hygienist who worked on my teeth today was awesome. She was very professional, kind, caring, and good looking to boot. I did not mind the mild discomfort from being poked around in my mouth. Dave is a knowledgeable and caring dentist. I’d recommend him and his staff to anyone.

(update, Oct 2015): Dr. Evan’s was my dentist in Boulder for over four years, up until the point when I moved out of town for a new job. Throughout that time I had consistently great experiences with him and his staff. Dr. Evans is very friendly, down-​to-​earth, and professional, as are all of the hygienists. Their work was thorough yet gentle, and they were always very sensitive to my concerns and requests. Cleanings can be a little painful for me because of receding gums, and the hygienists were always more than happy to give me some topical anesthetics that took all the pain and stress out of my dental visits. The practice has modern and well maintained equipment and the office is bright and comfortable… I felt very much at ease there. The front office folks were organized and courteous and billing and paperwork matters were always well managed. These folks do excellent work and I would recommend them without hesitation. Now that I’m living in a new town and have to go through the search for a new dentist, I’m realizing how good I had it with Dr. Evans. If you’re looking for a dentist in Boulder, give his practice a try… I think you will be very pleased.
