Nothing worse than fishy lox and cold service… But a cheap knockoff CD of music that would otherwise be enjoyed

Walk past here every day, saw there was no line so I figured I’d try it out. Nobody was at the counter, someone told they would with me shortly. 10 seconds later walked out. Lame.

Unless your starving don’t attempt it. The parking is chaos as everyone else has commented. However 99% of the parking/people is for Starbucks. The Einstein was empty, not very clean for 8:30 in the morning. 4 employees not one said hello, can I help you, you in the wrong spot. I waited for a while thinking eventually it will be my turn. There are two of us. I was told I was standing in the wrong location so they helped the person who was walking in. This is a small store. I’ve been to many Einstein Bagels. I then said you helped the person in front of me at this location so I was standing behind her. The employee argued with me for a few minutes saying she did not serve the person. I was shocked. It was early before 8:30. At that point if I wasn’t starving I would have walked out.

Worst service ever. One cashier working, 2 other employees doing nothing. Manager comes out and relieves one of the 3 employees while there is a line of 8 people. Took me 25 min to order a bagel and a sandwhich

If you’re in the mood for a rubbery, chewy bagel with seeds only on the top, Einstein Bagels is your spot. A disgrace to actual bagels everywhere.

I really try to avoid bagels, but my family loves them so I pick some up every once in a while. This trip to this particular Einstein Bros was pretty poor. The parking lot is often a mess to navigate, and if you’re lucky enough to find a spot the last thing you want is to go inside and stand around while 3 staff people laugh and joke about the latest movie they’ve seen. I waited for several minutes while people started piling up behind me, until I went up to the woman who appeared to be the manager and asked if I was in the right place to order. She said we should go to the register to order. She asked what she could get me, and then we promptly went right back to the counter where I was originally waiting to pick the bagels, and then back to the register, awkwardly cutting back in front of the people who had shifted behind me to the register. I heard the manager reprimanding her staff about not telling people where to go. I was shorted a bagel in my Baker’s Box and they didn’t toast the one I asked for separate with cream cheese. Wow. The Einstein’s on 28th is much friendlier and professional.

Love einsteins– good coffee, yummy sandwiches, and delicious bagels! However, the manager at this place is just awful! I have been in a lot since it is close to my home and I love their coffee. On two occasions the cashier has needed manager help, same woman both times. The first was that the cashier rang in the wrong sandwich– simple enough fix right! The second was that the cashier didn’t notice my coupon until after the sale was wrung. Another easy fix– void the sale and rering. Not too hard. Both times the manager acted rude and put out and the second time instead of taking 5 minutes to void and rering she just told me the coupon would still be good next time I came back– stellar customer service! Also, parking here is a problem they should probably look into fixing. Won’t be back, which is a shame bcs I love their coffee and all the college girls that work there are the opposite of the manager– really sweet.

The staff is great however their boss and/or manager(older woman with brown hair) is very rude and unprofessional. She talks down to her employees in front of customers, very inappropriate. I heard her say«I am gonna kill you» to one of her staff because they didn’t list the bagel type. If this location is struggling to keep employees, I think I know the reason why.

I really enjoy dropping into this Einstein Bros. The staff are super friendly(Alex is awesome), my food is always prepared in a timely manner(sandwich or bagel with cream cheese) and the coffee refills are super affordable. Recently I’ve had the pleasure of ordering catering through them as well. The catering orders are managed from Denver and the staff are really attentive and responsive. I accidentally ordered the food for the wrong time and the Manager at Einstein Boulder was more than happy to go out of his way to accommodate us to ensure that we had food in time for the meeting. Though there were two of us there to pick up the catering order the Einstein staff was more than happy to help us bring everything out to our cars. I really wish they allowed patrons to tip on pick up catering orders as this group definitely deserve it. The one menu item I am not so keen on is the turkey bagel thin sandwich. Though I enjoy the bagel thins the sandwich itself was lackluster. Today I had the pleasure of trying a veggie bagel thin sandwich and it was much better. I look forward to dropping into Einstein tomorrow morning for my breakfast sandwich and coffee fix. My co-worker will also benefit as I have a coupon for a free breakfast sandwich when you buy one. Oh, definitely sign up for their loyalty program. They email lots of coupons you’d actually want to use.

Einstein Bros Bagels Review: Genre: Fast-ish Breakfast food(non-sitdown) Service: 3⁄5 Food: 4⁄5 Ambience: 2⁄5 Overall: 3⁄5 It’s an Einsteins Bagels… What do you expect? haha It’s nothing special! I would not go here normally but the fact that I have a $ 50 gift card here kinda changes my mind! They aren’t very vegan friendly but I still find options! JB’s Sugestion: Bagel w/penut butter, bagel w/jelly,

These are fluffy CA Style bagels, not genuine NY Style(we have a local standout for that) but still, these are fresh and OK occasionally, for a change of pace, especially for sandwiches. They have some interesting, but definitely not traditional flavors. I think I will try the pretzel bagel next time. After all, I have tried pretzel croissants elsewhere and they were good. Nice staff. A variety of juices and flavored cream cheeses too. Bad parking. But that almost goes without saying for certain sorts of shopping centers in Boulder these days.

Horrible horrible HORRIBLE! here is my experience: I work fairly close to the Boulder Einsteins and went there on a fairly regular basis. There customer service was always not all that great. I figured it was due to the early hours that I came in.(usually 530am) Einsteins had just come out with a new breakfast sandwich called the bagel thin egg and bacon sandwich, which quickly became my favorite thing to order. Then one day I ordered and the store manager Kim was making my sandwich. When I got back to my office to eat my sandwich I took a big bite of wax paper. The wax paper that gets stuck to cheese when you have sliced cheese. It was horrible and I almost choked! I spit it out and opened up my sandwich to find the rest of the wax paper on one of the layers of cheese. I went back promptly the next day and told Kim the store manager of my findings. She said«sorry here is 10% off» with out much care in her attitude. I said thanks and joked hopefully this won’t happen again. She kinda stared at me with blank stare. Fast forward to approximately 1 week later. Another younger girl was working and I ordered that same sandwich, same thing happened wax paper in my sandwich! I returned to the store the next day and another different manager was working some blonde haired guy. I informed him of my misfortune and said that it was the second time this has happened. I did not mention my interaction with Kim because I didn’t feel that Kim handled it appropriately as a manager. This guy was very apologetic and I thought to myself what a nice change! Some actual customer service! He went ahead and made me another sandwich and gave it to me free for my troubles even though I was ready to pay. I thanked him and said again hopefully this does not happen again I hate finding that paper in my sandwich. He said no problem and I went about my day. Approximately 2 weeks later now and I went back in to order my sandwich on 3⁄17 a Thursday. It was a different young lady working and I ordered the sandwich. I came back to my office and sure enough wax paper again! This time I was fed up and I peeled the wax paper off and stuck it in a bag to give back to the store. I cannot leave my office during the day so this situation had to wait until the next time I came in. I came in the Einsteins on Monday the following week, unfortunately I left the wax paper with some cheese stuck on it in my office and forgot to bring it. I ordered a bagel this time since I didn’t want to deal with cheese wax paper in my sandwich. The person working Monday was the blonde manager, as soon as I walked in he was extremely rude, he disappeared into the back as soon as I walked in and didn’t return for at least 10 minutes when he finially came back to take my order I told him I wanted just a plain bagel with cream cheese. we went through the process and I PAID for my bagel. After I was done paying I then addressed the cheese paper situation stating it happened again and that I was dissapointed. His response«your a liar and a thief» «it sounds like to me all you want is free stuff and I’m not giving you any more discounts» I replied I don’t want any discounts and that I would like to just be able to eat a sandwich without having to pick out wax paper all the time. He said again that I’m lying and refused to give me his managers name, he then pointed at the door and said you can take a complaint card which happened to be the manager Kims buisness card. I told him I don’t appreciate his customer service and that it’s rediculous that I have to pick wax paper out of my sandwich. He just walked away and said too bad. Since then I will not return, I’m following up on my complaint to Einsteins corporate and health services and it is a health and safety issue that they are clearly violating and not doing anything about.

Soft bagels with a very generic taste. I grew up in NJ& know what a good bagel is. You won’t find it at any Einstein Bros. The eggs are microwaved. Yucko. They get 2 stars because of the challah roll. 1 star for everything else.

What is the deal with the flies in this place?! I don’t know that I’ve ever been and not had some pesky fly swarm my head. I don’t recommend staying in to eat – it’s got a pretty grimy feel to it. My sandwich was sub-par and my salad had browning soft lettuce. Pass!

I had heard of Einsteins prior to moving to Boulder, but never tried it until this year. When you walk into the shop you’re greeted by a comforting sight of bagels and pastries, which all look pretty delicious. After the initial feeling of anticipation to eat these yummy looking treats wears off, the reality that you’re in one of many of the same corporate-run chain of eateries sets in. The employees(in the Einsteins in Boulder, at least) seem irritated at you even being there, which always rubs me the wrong way. Having worked in a similar place(a corporate-run shop serving and preparing goods for people — the exact company shall remain unnamed) for a couple years, I understand that sometimes it isn’t easy to put on that fake smile and work on that emotional maintenance, but it really does make a difference. Nobody wants to buy anything from someone who looks pissy before you even order. As far as the food goes, their bagels and cream cheese(they call it shmear. hmm.) are pretty standard, and all taste decent — just as you would expect of a chain of bagel joints’ bagels to taste like. Maybe I was spoiled living in Durango with places like the Durango Bagel(disputably the best bagel you’ll find in Colorado), and maybe I’m more partial to privately, locally owned businesses, but their food and service seem a little sub par for me. I would, on the other hand, take one of those lemonadey drinks from the fridge beside the bagels any day. Maybe they should become a business brewing beverages instead of a business baking bagels? Who knows. Einstein’s is nothing special, but I’ll probably continue to grab last minute mediocre breakfasts there when needed.

Einstein Bros. bagels is a bagel chain that opens early for all you commuters and specializes in gourmet bagels and fresh juices and coffee. Although altogether, bagels and juices and cream cheese and all, it started to get pricey, everything I got was surprisingly fresh and delicious, which is good… since I am a complete asshole in the morning.
