Dr. Demayo is the only eye doctor I have gone back to more than once! He is kind and incredibly thorough. I am always amazed when I see him that he is completely up to date on all current research that pertains to your eyes. He clearly loves what he does, and it is a pleasure, not an inconvenience, to get my eyes examined!

Dr. DeMayo is an excellent optometrist. He puts you at ease, pays attention to detail, and keeps up with the latest in vision tech. And generally keeps appointments on time.
We have been seeing him for several years and have always had positive experiences. Dr. DeMayo is just great.

I would agree with the other posts! Dr. DeMayo is the best. He always takes the time to explain what he’s doing, and in a way that is neither too simplified nor over my head! I trust my eyes to this guy!

Dr. Demayo is the BEST! I have been his patient for many years now and he goes out of his way to make sure I have the best eye sight possible. This is extremely difficult as I have Karatoconus, a rare eye disease. He is always up to date on the latest treatment and procedures, even attending medical conferences on this condition. In a long line of eye doctors, he is the best I’ve ever had. I no longer live in Boulder but i will still make the 21 mile drive to come see him.

Dr Demayo does a wonderful job. He talks to you intelligently, isn’t high-​pressure, and is super-​competent. I was particularly impressed when I asked him about Lasik — since he doesn’t actually perform the surgery, he seemed to be an honest but informed source of information. He clearly told me the pluses and minuses of Lasik, contacts, and glasses and helped me make the right decision for me.
And, he drives a hybrid.
