My experience with Flatirons Acura was frustrating. Due to a misunderstanding on charges I gave them a one star rating yesterday. They have since corrected the problem to my satisfaction. It is nice to see that customer satisfaction is important to them.

Damon in parts and service literally saved the day. A fuse went out in my 2004 Acura TLX prior to my 1,200 mile journey back to California. The fuse mishap was discovered late in the day and I had to depart early the following morning. After explaining my situation he asked when I could bring the car in so he could personally take a look at it before they closed. I walked in, he came out and looked at the fuses right there in the parking lot. He changed a few out and just like that I was on my way. Please give Damon a raise. Purchased a pre-​owned vehicle from Flatirons and within the following days I began to notice a serious issue shifting my manual transmission from 2 – 3. I experiences hitting shift wall and grinding when the clutch was fully depressed. While digging into the issue more, I discovered this is a known issue and Acura issued a TSB directly addressing the issue and urging dealerships to fix. See Acura TSB 02 – 016.
I was invited to have the vehicle inspected for my concerns, with assurance that the vehicle will be fixed so long as they can reproduce the issue (predictions?). Unsurprising to the entire human race, they claim not to be able to produce and the car is «perfect». I have no reason to fabricate this issue, and ultimately they are refusing to honor the «warranty» that the vehicle came with. I am now returning the vehicle despite my desire to just have my car fixed and be the happy owner of the vehicle I want. BE WARNED, the car is a 2004 Acura RSX Type-​S. This car has a serious transmission issue and you will find yourself in the same situation if you purchase this car. Also for anybody who is purchasing a pre-​owned vehicle, the warranty is non-​existent. They will simply claim they can not reproduce any issues that surface and you’ll end up wasting time, money, and faith in car dealerships (if you had any to begin with). Thanks Flatirons!

As a follow up to a review posted on 11/​16, Mike B, customer service director, contacted me and was very helpful in resolving the issues we had at Boulder Acura. A past problem was without hesitation fixed and the current issue is in resolve. We appreciated this type of customer contact and very happy with the results.

On my third vehicle purchase from them (all brand new), they miscalculated the sales tax.
They then re-​did the sale paperwork, sent me a small check for the price difference with a no real explanation. At the end of the tax year my accountant caught it (state was too high and local was too low) and it was a real pain in the ass to sort out.
A dealership (or anyone selling anything) should really be able to ring up the correct price for the product. AND if they mess up, they need to communicate it quickly and clearly. They did neither and it cost me a lot of money and time.
You know, come to think about it… My experiences with this dealership, dating back to 2001 (yes, over 13 years) have become worse and worse each time.

I am a long time Customer of Flatirons Acura. Mark Berger is the sales rep that I have worked with on many occasions. However, this review is about the service department.
We were preparing for a long road trip. At about 192,000 miles, the 2000 Acura TL needed the major service (timing belt, water pump, hoses, other belts, oil change, etc). Josh handled the appointment, met me at the doors and had an RDX loaner ready. The next day, I picked up the TL. It ran perfectly.
Over fourteen years, the Flatirons Acura Service center has been the sole source of service for the TL. It has run perfectly by following the service schedules. It still meets «Fast Pass» requirements during emission testing.
On the trip, I put a quick 3500 miles on the Acura. The speed limits were raised to eighty on many of the freeways we used. The car ran as if it had just come off of the show room floor.

Good dealership, well run, felt like we got a fair deal. Sean our salesman is a really good guy, he’s relatively new to sales so made a couple of minor mistakes but he was very apologetic and made it right. He stayed late when we needed it, and offered to miss a family reunion to meet with us – he’s very dedicated to taking care of his customers.
Overall a good experience and I’d recommend them as a dealership.

I have been searching for cars for a few weeks, and pulled online and Carfax reports for 24 vehicles in the Denver, Boulder, and Colorado Springs area. As you can tell, I was picky with my search, and was willing to wait for the right vehicle. My search took me to Flatirons Acura where Kathe was able to help me locate a car in my search. After visiting several other dealerships at this point and having some bad experiences, I was impressed with the service that I received from Kathe, and how she helped me with the vehicle I was interested in. After test driving, I ended up not being interested in the vehicle for various reasons. The vehicle was great, but I wanted to keep looking. Kathe showed me one other vehicle in my price range, and just like the first, it was a great vehicle, but I wasn’t sure if I wanted to purchase. After that, Kathe was very friendly and did not pressure me at all. She said that she will keep looking for my vehicle in my criteria, and that was it. I actually hated to walk away because of how positive my experience was. I ended up buying a different vehicle at another dealership a few days later, but would definitely consider Flatirons Acura for a future purchase, and would definitely recommend this place if you like friendly service without the pressure of some dealers. Great Service, Great Car, Great Dealership
Kathe Freund took great care of me during the purchase of a used Honda Pilot and even long after the sale. I could not have been happier with the process. No haggle pricing made it more of a conversation than a sales pitch which I appreciated. Verified with searches online that I was still getting a great deal and that I couldn’t get that same deal anywhere else. If you find yourself at Flatiron’s Acura, you can buy with confidence!

Our Acura was 21 years old, so we decided it was time for a new one. Dan, was our Salesman, he is AWESOME! Explained every detail, answered every question we had. EVEN took us to the back lot to let me pick the EXACT car I wanted. The one we bought had less than 2 miles on it when we went to drive off the lot. I LOVE MY ACURA RDX and Flatirons Acura, thank you!

I reached out to the Sales Manager, explained the situation. I asked for corrective action and it was agreed upon that I was going to recieve a response. I continued to make an attempt for resolution only to be ignored and call not returned.

Very disappointed in Flatiron Acura for being open today during a national disaster! I was planning on coming in next weekend to buy here but was absolutely amazed that I got a call from a sales person asking me to come in today! There are still several people unaccounted for not to mention the Boulder Sheriff saying ‘Do NOT come in to Boulder if you do not absolutely have to.’ I mean c’mon. People are being airlifted to safety, several families have lost everything after being evacuated. I wonder if they would appreciate a call to come on in and buy a car after they’ve lost everything. It’s just disrespectful. Several have died, virtually lost everything & are being forced to start over. Have a little respect for our beautiful town of Boulder and for the people that are and have been affected by this tragedy

This review discusses my experience with the service on the Acura side.
I’ve went into this dealership a handful of times for servicing — oil changes and factory recalls.
The waiting area is nice, decent leather sofas and free snacks and drinks. The service people I dealt with for the most part were courteous.
They did an awesome job addressing the factory recalls and provided a loaner when the service was being done.
I did run into an issue with an oil change I had done their once. After I did an oil change, something erred on their end. I drove about 30 miles after picking up the car, and my check engine light came on, and oil was spewed all over the back of my car. I called them and brought it back and they gave me a loaner and said they would fix the problem. They detailed the car and offered an extended warranty for their error. However it took a few calls to the service dept. director Mike, to get this addressed. He was very understanding with the whole issue, and I think he ultimately handled the situation well.
The major gripe that I have is after getting an oil change, a number of white scratches appeared near my drivers side door handle. I’m pretty anal about scratches and dings, so if it weren’t for this, they’d be getting 5 stars.

Just went there for some service on a ’90 Integra, and was told THEY ARE BUSY TILL SOMETIME NEXT WEEK! i have has this car since 1990 in CA, and NEVER heard of such a situation. EVER!

Wow. What an Acura dealer should be!
From a prompt response when making my appointment on line to a prompt greeting when I entered the service drive, this dealership excels.
Friendly staff that greets you when you first pull in and takes down the relevant information and directs you to the customer lounge.
The customer lounge has free wi-​fi and has an assortment of beverages as well as telephones and wired internet connections. Staff was quick with updates and throughly explained exactly what was done to the vehicle and what I might want to have looked at on my next visit.
The ETA for when the vehicle would be ready was spot on and my service advisor Kevin Kaplan was a pleasure to work with.
I highly recommend them for your next Acura service. A home run all the way at 5 stars!
