Great little tack shop with a HUGE selection of English tack, saddle pads, blankets, boots, clothing, and other horse supplies. When I was in middle and high school I rode (eventing) and counted on Fox Creek for everything from Stud Muffin horse treats to colorful wraps, pads, and safety vests. After many years without a horse of my own, last week I took on a completely green rescue draft cross. So my friend and I went to Fox Creek so I could buy a new helmet before I got any crazy ideas about leaping on my new, un-​broke, 1500lb baby in an outdated model. The ladies were extremely helpful and, as always, friendly and chatty. We spent well over half an hour picking the perfect helmets and browsing the store for other fun stuff.
One of my favorite things about Fox Creek is that they will never pressure you to buy something you don’t need. My friend has been complaining about not having a pair of dress boots that she could show in, even though she’s re-​habbing her horse and won’t be showing again for at least a year. The lovely ladies at Fox Creek encouraged her to not even look at expensive show boots until she was ready to show again, since she still has a couple perfectly fine pairs of paddock books to school in.
