Full Body Vitality

I started seeing Gretchen at Full Body Vitality for monthly massages in August 2014, and have been a loyal client ever since. She recently changed her practice to focus more on cupping, and I’ve now had two appointments with her using the new technique. I had never tried cupping before, and never believed in the whole «this will pull all the toxins from your body» stuff that a lot of people think of as cupping. Lucky for me, Gretchen’s methods are very focused on using cupping as a tool to loosen up muscle nots and release tension — exactly what I need!
I walked into my last appointment with a muscle strain in my oblique, which had left the rest of my back, neck, and shoulders extremely tight as they tried compensating for the weak spot. 90 minutes laster, and my whole back felt gooey and yummy (real scientific terms, I know). I’m so happy with the way my body responds to cupping, and will keep seeing Gretchen on a monthly basis.

Gretchen and David so deeply believe in the healing touch of massage that you can feel it resonate through your body during your session with them. I feel safe knowing that only the highest quality of organic and hypoallergenic products are used on my body and the clients I refer to them. I was experiencing wrist pain to the point I thought I was going to have to stop working for a few weeks (a devastating setback for a entrepreneur). After a short 15 minutes with Gretchen and David, I was pain-​free and back in the kitchen the next day, chopping and cooking away.

Gretchen has been an integral part of my healing process after a bike accident in which I suffered fractures and soft tissue damage. She is professional and highly skilled, but also kind and approachable. She reads people well, asks a lot of questions and really tailors each session to my particular needs that day. She is a master at finding and defeating knots and tension! Gretchen regularly goes above and beyond, providing suggestions for at home treatments to maintain and support the work that she does on me. In addition to massage, she has done cupping and mixed up special muds and essential oils for me. I can’t believe I haven’t invested the time and money on myself until recently, but I don’t plan to stop now that I’ve found Gretchen!

Gretchen is the best! I have been receiving regular massage from her throughout my pregnancy and I plan to stay with her after I give birth. She truly has a healing touch and is extremely knowledgeable and skilled, while also being very nurturing and intuitive. She was actually able to fix my sciatic nerve pain that set in around month 6, and has contributed to an overall healthy and happy pregnancy. I cannot recommend her highly enough for prenatal (or regular!) massage.

Ok so I just got home from my massage at Integrative with Gretchen and I feel like a million bucks. I cannot get anyone to massage me right. I’ve been to three different places looking for relief for the same issue. All have been unsatisfying experiences until today.
The knots on my back and shoulders has been causing me serious headaches. Whatever she did has given me the best most I have had in a long time. The whole massage was relaxing and as deep as I needed. I saw her a long time ago for energy work and that too was profound. Please know if you are dealing with chronic pain or issues, Gretchen is the one to see. Very helpful, and explains what is going on in your body so you can work with it on your own as well. Will be going back soon~

I’ve been receiving massage from Gretchen at ITB for several months now. I just got a swedish/​deep tissue massage yesterday and feel absolutely fantastic! She has a very thorough understanding of the body and is always able to work out my myriad kinks and knots. I work multiple jobs that are physically demanding, and often have a fluctuating schedule, which lead to lots of soreness as well as the occasional sleep deprivation
Every time I get body work done by Gretchen, all of my soreness just melts away (within about 24 hours — I always ask her to beat me up a little!). She’s extremely professional, very responsive during the massage, and is great about communication and scheduling. She also gives me advice and reminders on how to best take care of my body, including stretching, icing, recovery and general healthy living. It’s made a big difference in how I feel.

I had my first my first massage with Gretchen a couple weeks ago, wow! My work involves lots of sitting, being hunched over and just poor posture in general. Thanks to this my neck and shoulders are pretty jacked. She whipped those trigger points into submission, I felt great for days after the massage. I also really appreciated the stretching tips she gave me that I can use day to day.

I had a mud wrap followed by a one-​hour aromatherapy massage. Gretchen is extremely skilled in getting to the problem areas and releasing those trigger points. Her use of essential oils is the icing on the cake! The entire treatment relieved pain and made me feel wonderful. I will be back!
