History

Established in 2005.

We started Green Guru because we love the great outdoors. We like to play and we play hard. Our adventures take us to amazing destinations. We noticed that the gear we play with had a negative impact on the environment we enjoy so much. We also saw an opportunity to make real, positive change within the industries and activities we love.

In the beginning, we built products from used but durable materials that were being discarded. Initially, our creations were rough around the edges. Yet their intent was clear. Through years of experimentation, we grew our small group of designs into a catalog of performance oriented products that exceed social, quality and sustainability standards.

Today, we affect real change by reducing landfill waste, creating local jobs, and of course building some of the coolest products on the planet. We do all of this for our friends who follow a greener path keeping our favorite environments clean and open.
