Hands down the worst service I’ve had at any restaurant. We sat waiting to be seated for 10 minutes while the three girls just sat at the podium giggling, and the whole restaurant was empty. There was no reason for us to sit there for so long. We got out silverware after our food, had to ask for it, had to ask for all of our refills, and our«over easy» eggs were completely hard and cooked. When we told«Robert» there about our horrid experience he didn’t apologize, didn’t even care. Worst service hands down. Just go to The Buff next door, Better food and way better service

I wanted to get a good breakfast before going to work and stopped in on national pancake day. I had a nice waitress chat with me for a while and then she told me that she wasn’t my waitress. I told her I was in a hurry and if she could get my waitress for me. I waited and waited but no one every came and I needed to go to work so I just walked out. Very disappointing.

A great place to come and hang out and grab a bite to eat. Wonderful that they are open 24⁄7 for those late nights. Friendly staff, but at times they can get backed up if a big crowd of kids comes in. The red velvet pancakes are amazing.

Breakfast with a Psychic went Great at IHop with Boulder Psychic Mystical Empress’ Brenda Renee. I love the Eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns, ham, waffles and much more! Oh yeah, I loved my Accurate Psychic Reading too! I love having Psychic Readings with Mystical Empress Psychics at random restaurants when I am hungry!

As long as you keep the appropriate expectations for an IHOP, this place should do more than satisfy. Making a point to only come in with a buy one meal get one free coupon handy, a coupon I believe can be found in every trash can in any Safeway or King Soopers in Boulder — they’re on the back of every grocery receipt, it’s tough not to be satisfied with the food and price. Trip one — I powered through a stack of stuffed french toast(dessert inside a breakfast) and country fried steak. I was pretty hungry but I have to confess that this country fried concoction was so good while I was eating it, the gravy was on point, and mixing it with the hash browns and eggs, then the stuffed french toast(it comes with a choice of filling, I think I chose lemon custard) it was truly a great way to end a night. It was around 10:00pm. After the 1st round of debauchery, I ventured into my IHOP partner’s pancakes, blueberry, which were pretty tasty too. Gave each syrup a try. I think I’m a traditionally guy, the other ones tasted like a factory. The pancakes were topped with whip cream, as was the stuffed french toast. As I’m typing this, I’m thinking I’m sure they would be happy to put a weird amount of whip cream on your food items if asked nicely. Next time. There was a communication mishap between our server and the cook wherein we received a blueberry pancake instead the strawberry we ordered. It was no big deal on my end because I like blueberries too, but to my pleasant surprise out entire meal was comped. I paid a tip to essentially get three meals that were all good. Our server was really nice. All and all good experience. IHOP is always so empty, but It’s not because of the food or the service, take advantage of it. Plus they’re open very late.

Numerous tables had not been cleared. No mgmt appeared to be present; only one waitress working. Waited for 45 minutes; only part of my order was served.(The toast). Waitress was pleasant but overwhelmed.

2 stars for the food. –3 stars for the service. The food was good, just like at any IHOP. Got seated after three minutes of waiting, which is fine, I understand sometimes there is a wait. While enjoying my meal I heard the manager and the hostess or another waiter(not really sure) start yelling at each other. Everyone could hear and it was completely awkward. They were arguing about where to seat people and they were calling each other names, so unprofessional! And then once our waiter(the manager) brought us out our food she didn’t ask us if we needed anything or came back and check up on us or anything! Until she brought our check. We waited 15 minutes just to ask for some ketchup! Good food. Horrible service.

We had breakfast here this morning and the food was great. What really made our morning though was our waiter, Walter. He was super friendly, helpful, and efficient. He took time to chat a bit with his customers and didn’t act rushed or annoyed to be doing his job. What a breath of fresh air he was! His co-worker who griped at him in the kitchen for chatting with his customers should take some lessons from him. She was rude and couldn’t even be bothered to smile.

I walked in to order a chocolate shake togo. The manager and waiter(older man with long hair in pony) at the front. Manager took my order and went to go make my shake asking the waiter to ring me up. The waiter finished closing out several checks, left and didn’t come back. He cleaned up a bit, put on his jacket about to leave. Manager came back around, and I asked if I could pay, he apologized for that, and charged me. I did not leave a tip. Even after receiving my shake, I stood waiting to pay for another 5 min. It wouldn’t had been as long if the waiter had dropped a bottle in the kitchen when the manager stopped to help him clean it up. It was just aggravating when the waiter just totally blew me off. He came back twice to the register to ring up more, and I was just letting him finish them before me, but he never looked me in the eye, never said anything to me at all. Even when the manager came to ring me up, the waiter came to the register to have the manager finish his credit tips, and the waiter still never said a word to me or even apologized for ignoring me. Ridiculous! However, the shake was good! Thank you manager. I rated a 2 of 5 because the shake was good. Thanks!

Free WiFi, but sat there for two hours waiting for food. Accidentally spilled milk and took 20 minutes for someone to come over and give us a towel. Bathrooms are disgusting but this place has the best strawberry and banana pancakes.

I haven’t been to the IHOP in years but now I know why. Granted it was thanksgiving morning and not much around boulder was open and we had to wait about 20 minutes. The hour long wait for cold food was just not worth it or satisfying the least bit. With so many good breakfast/brunch spots I don’t think I feel the need to return anytime soon.

I really don’t think you can beat the service here. The food is just standard American, and for the price you cant expect too much. But its decent and the atmosphere is ok so there’s nothing too bad. The service every time I come here is beyond great. The staff is really caring and wanting to help with whatever you need, an outlet, an order ect. Maybe the service I got was good because it was past 10pm?

I absolutely love the staff at this IHOP! Every single person here is so friendly. The food is well uh, what you can expect from a diner, but the service, free wi fi and vibe totally rocks!

These are some of the most courteous and friendly restaurant staff that I have ever encountered. They genuinely cared about our dining experience.

I have not been to an IHOP in a very long time. But this restaurant surprised me. The waitress was very friendly. The menu had good selection. Service was fast. Food was excellent. And my hashbrowns were not drenched in grease like most breakfast joints. I left happy. I would most certainly go back.

A restaurant that can get me order wrong, but I still had a positive experience. I ordered over easy eggs, home fries, & pancakes. I received scrambled eggs in stead, but they sure were tasty. Lucky for them & my waitress. They were courteous with the mistake & offered to bring the correct eggs, but I don’t like to waste food. The pancakes were International & House quality. I thoroughly enjoyed my 1st visit back to IHOP in a couple years.

I have no clue why I keep forgetting how much the IHOP here in Boulder sucks. Oh wait, they have free wireless and are open 24 hours, and my friend likes to study here because it is close to his home. I have come here a total of 4 times over the last 10 years, and every time the IHOP sucks. Denny’s is much better not only for their food and their service, but they are not cheapskates. Denny’s: Vanilla shakes with«extra» tin. Bottomless hot chocolate Nice people Tasty(er) food Free seltzer water IHOP: No refills on hot chocolate Milkshakes are anemic and no «extra» tin, and taste like ice. A-holes who run the place Charge for everything, and take forever to get anything you request. I have not been here during the day, so it may be a different scene with respect to the staff during daytime hours. Avoid this place and go to Denny’s. better food(of this genre) and closer to campus in any event.

Well, Theresa was away for the weekend for the Women of Faith conference. But, the girls were off school and were my breakfast buddies this Friday. We ate at IHOP. A good, solid, basic, all-american breakfast place. The manager at the Boulder IHOP is super attentive and friendly — always checking in on all the customers. The servers are also amazing — they take your order in their heads, memorizing everything and always getting it right. Megan had the chocolate chip smiley face pancake from the kid’s menu. Chloe had biscuits and gravy. And, I had the breakfast sampler with scrambled eggs, ham, sausage, bacon and pancakes. The total bill including tip for the 3 of us was #31.02. I’d considered it medium priced and above average food. It’s consistent if nothing else. You always know what you are going to get in terms of food selection, quality, service and price range.
