Lazybones Laundry Pick Up & Delivery

I never feel compelled to do reviews but this time I am. I set this service up for my son as a Christmas present. He is a student at CU. Only later did we find out they only pick up on a certain day and between times he was in class. Once he worked that out, there were many weeks he did not use the service because of the inflexibility of their service. On weeks when he did get his laundry done they charged for every ounce over. Unless you can run by their stringent rules and their schedule don’t do this… I won’t do this again. The semester ended up costing me a fortune. Great concept but in reality terrible service…

Good people. Posted earlier about a driver gone awry, but the manager, Mike, called and apologized (and canned the guy). Super responsive and cares about customer feedback. I’m definitely giving them another chance. Speedy service.

I hate doing laundry. Not only do I hate the act of doing it, I hate the act of gathering up my laundry, driving somewhere, carrying it into the laundromat (dropping dirty underwear along the way), waiting while it washes, blah blah blah.
So the thought of having someone else COME AND PICK IT UP AND DO IT FOR ME??? Youdon’tneedtoaskmetwice.
The price works out to be reasonable. They only come once a week to my area, which is kind of a pain, but if I time my laundry needs right, it works out OK.
However, the last time I sent my clothes back, the most expensive pair of pants I own were not in there. Yeup. Dior. $ 450. Why did I send them away? Because I hate laundry, and because they say «do not dry clean» on them, and because what, why wouldn’t I trust them?
Two calls and a week and a half later, and I still have no Dior pants. I know, I know. $ 450 on pants is crazy anyway. It’s not something I normally do. But now that they have disappeared and they just don’t seem to be coming back… I cannot in good faith recommend this place.
If they come back, and suddenly their customer service seem to be responsive, I’ll edit this review. Because the service is good (they even keep your detergent, if you’re picky like me and want it to be all natural and pretty smelling and shit, and just use your detergent.) And it’s handy. But perhaps they just don’t have their shit together like they should. Yet?

after reading my review, i got a call from mike (the guy who runs the boulder location).
he showed great concern regarding my negative experience with lazybones this semester, and eagerly assured me that he would try to figure out what was going wrong with my laundry pick-​ups. i was really surprised (and pleased) that he cared enough about customer feedback to contact me, and was really thankful that he offered to roll over my poundage if i was unable to use up the quota by may.
the following week, my laundry was totally picked up on time and delivered the next day. ive never had an issue with the delivery/​washing– so A+ there.
this last wednesday, i got a call from mike around 9:30am saying the pick-​up guy was unable to find my laundry, and that he would come back and grab it if there was a misunderstanding.
i called the driver, confused as to why he showed up at 9:30am (instead of 10am), and found out that his schedule has shown me scheduled an hour earlier than my assigned time on my online profile this entire time.
i feel so bad that this dude has apparently been showing up all semester, and that i had just been missing him, since our appointments differed in the system. i hope i was able to express this to him sincerely, aaaaand i hope he didnt get yelled at or something.
im glad we finally figured out the issue and that everything can go back to normal now, though. my account still lists my pickup time as 10am, but now that i know its really 9am, things should run a lot more smoother now.
