Specialties

Mentoring and Coaching:

For more than twenty five years, I have specialized in the treatment of trauma and other chronic conditions. As a mentor, I now support clients in their pursuit of becoming more conscious of their unique gifts and how to apply them in the world. My practice reflects the teachings and psychotherapeutic concepts of Carl Jung, the phoilosophy of Martin Heidegger and Contemplative Psychology.

Healing Therapies:

I utilize Craniosacral Therapy, Iyengar Yoga and Insight Meditation to help others discover and relate to the physical emotional and intellectual aspects of themselves. Each approach is inclusive in and of itself; however, when you incorporate all of them into your life, the affects are enhanced and longer lasting. You will have more energy, clarity and more peace of mind!

Retreats and Intensives:

Retreats are an opportunity to get away from our ordinary lives in order to renew, replenish, and restore. They are held in locations close to nature, in the San Luis Valley of Colorado, Northern New Mexico, often at hot springs and other recreational venues. This environment provides the opportunity to address a variety of issues through meditation, lecture and discussion groups, and experiential activities, such as, white water rafting, hiking, therapeutic yoga and Native American rituals (drumming, chanting and other spiritual practices).

I had to choose between giving in to the pain, suffering and anguish or relate authentically to what happened! Instead of traditional medical treatment, I and my doctors, made a conscious choice to take advantage of non-invasive healing modalities that I now use in my work with others.

I felt compelled to become a practitioner in these alternative treatments in order to pass on to others the benefits I received. I bring the skills I’ve learned through this process of recovery to my healing work. I reclaimed and built a life through this experience that has been filled with challenges and adventu

Hello All~ Time flies, we get older and the world changes, either we make a conscious choice to respond authentically to those changes or as Carl Jung would say, «they happen out of perforce and the Universe chooses for us through fate». My thinking and approach in working with others has been influenced most by the teachings of psychoanalyst Carl Jung, yoga master BKS Iyengar, and Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche, who authored more than two dozen books on meditative practice.
