Quick Left

Yes, I’m a little biased because I know one of the owners, but that doesn’t change the fact that Quick Left as a whole has been instrumental in moving me forward with my theater project. Theater project you say? A web engineering company and theater? How can that be? Where is the correlation? Let me explain.
Ingrid Alongi, one of the Co-​founders, and I met in junior high. She was cute as a button with her overly gelled-​back 1980’s hair. And all the new-​bee junior high boys, including me, had a severe crush on her. She was also extremely sweet and that has always laid the biggest impression on me. Over the years we lost touch but recently, when I returned briefly to Boulder to begin my journey of producing the play K2, we reconnected with old high school friends over drinks. The memories of her being such a friendly person were once again validated the moment we saw each other in downtown Boulder.
Being that I was in the beginning stages of producing K2, I needed to start the fundraising process. To have a fundraiser means you need a space to hold the event. This can often cost hundreds of dollars, and not ever doing a fundraiser before, I didn’t know how much profit I could possibly gain while money was going towards location expenses. This is where darling Ingrid became incredibly instrumental in my journey – she offered Quick Left’s office space free of charge for the event. Actually, this was to be QL’s first event in their new downtown Boulder office.
Long story short, the actual event was as successful as any first-​time event planner (me) could make it. However, the openness of Ingrid and the QL team to allow me to manipulate their furniture, come during office hours for measurements, actually move much of their equipment out of the way themselves, well, this was way beyond any generosity I could have hoped for. Ingrid and the QL team made an incredible impact on me and my production, and I can’t thank them enough.
I wanted to present this because it represents the kind of company QL is and I can guarantee you that when you work with them in their actual field, you will see them shine at their brightest.
